I was never into G.I Joe because military heroes never appeal to me, unlike Transformers. Even as a kid, I thought the series was kinda boring.

I latched on to the more sci-fi aspects of the 00s revival, found a bit more as I worked through the past stuff.

I just watched Halloween Kills (finally) in preparation for Halloween Ends and to be honest, I wasn't a fan. I didn't like the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre either. I feel like horror movies these days are unnecessarily brutal to the point where it just feels cruel, not scary. I don't enjoy that. TCM sequels have always been over-the-top, so that one was a bit expected, but Halloween always seemed like it was more subtle in its approach to being a slasher. These newer ones just leave me feeling bad.

I'll still watch Ends, but I'm no longer very excited for it. I'm almost scared to watch the Scream that came out earlier this year.

I hear that the Invisible Man remake's not like that. I also saw Get Out last week and while it's a heavy movie, it's really not that violent physically

Funny, fast and furious films has become a Joe film.

Outside of Terrifier 2, and some forgein films, I don't think there's many that are like compare to the stuff that you had in the 70s and 80s, or even during the mid 2000s with Saw.

This Uno game gonna get wild

Gundam Witch From Mercury has already subverted all of my expectations just by the third episode. I have absolutely no idea what's going on, what's gonna happen next, and I'm down for it.

I thought about giving Sailor Moon a serious watch. When I was a kid, I would watch it in secret until other people found out, and made fun of me for it. The 6 or 7 year old me found myself really glued to the transformations, and made me wish that I was one of them.

It's pretty damn good, I loved the new Viz dub in particular a few years back and would recommend it

With Halloween 2022 coming I'm watching Scooby-Doo And Guess Who? on DVD. It seems like they used most of the major heavy hitters in the front 26.

Guinan from Star Trek The Next Generation , Sulu from TOS and Luke Skywalker from Star Wars were in. ( The cast members btw)

Also Bill Nye and Ricky Gervais made an appearance.

Strongly recommend it as well. The whole Viz dub is up on Hulu, along with Crystal (aside from Eternal which is currently Netflix exclusive), and the old DiC/Cloverway exists out there if you're that dedicated/nostalgic.

Of course there's also the live-action PGSM, but I recommend finishing the Crystal or Classic version of the first arc before that one so you can appreciate the... divergences.

I have learned not to go to Victoria’s Secret again because their entire store is shit. I hated their customer service and they were practically useless to me. They were surprised to find out that my chest size is 48 B, and didn’t come back after they went looking for a bra that was around my size.

As a person who has had very few significant others, I gotta say that yeah, VC is kind of shit. It's not worth your time as their stock is everything you'd expect, with little wiggle room.
Customer service always varies from store to store, so I can't make a definitive comment on that, but getting shitty customer service always sucks, so I'm real sorry there.

Like Matrix said, service is going to vary from store to store so it's always going to be hit or miss. You may want to think about Torrid if you can, they cater to larger bodies and both locations I've been to were nothing but helpful and friendly. Sadly I can say from experience they don't have bras with that particular cup/band but there are alternatives if you don't mind something with a bit less support.

I have a 10 disk set I watch Sailor Moon on. Unlike the Viz set these are full screen. I bought Sailor Moon Sailor Stars as that set was an English dub released by Viz. Also on same said 10 disk set am watching Crystal and the 3 movies. The movies are English dub btw. I'm on Episode 60 (Sailor Moon R)

The vid quality in my set is similar to the Viz release.

I do know a good local place that caters to unconventional bra sizes, but they are unfortunately EXPENSIVE. Bra-la-la in Maple Lawn if you are curious. It might be good for at least trying some stuff on.

Is true that Startups/Fintechs are scammers ?

Not necessarily. I've worked with a number of starts-ups in all sorts of sectors, and they've all been legit. Just nice folks starting up new businesses in an industry they know and wanting to be their own bosses.

Fintech is just a sector (like FinServ, or Manufacturing, media, what have you) and there'll no doubt be some dubious businesses operating in that sector, but I'm sure most are legit. Best thing you can do to determine is look into the C-level team (CTO, CEO, CFO)/board of Directors and check with their history. Have they had previous companies like this that stopped operating? Do they even have a background in this space? Also check where the money is coming from - external investment, the board of directors' own pockets, organic growth? That'll give you a good idea on the face of it if they're the real deal. Hope that helped but let me know if you see anything possibly sketchy and you're not sure!

It took me six sightings (as in: five times before now) of this to realize "Oh, that's not a Kill La Kill parody".

I'm not surprised that the new G4 didn't work. I feel like G4 is a relic of the 2000s, and you can't recreate the same success in today's world. It was already a bad idea to bring back G4 to begin with. G4 was big in 2003–2007 because streaming wasn't a big thing yet and Youtube was still a small website (at least in 2005-2006). People would watch G4 for video game reviews, gaming news, and to see other people talking about video games. Once Youtube became big with gaming like Machinima, and other gaming websites like Gametrailers came out, G4 started to die. People didn't want to watch TV for gaming when they could do it on the Internet now.

That's why the channel started to die by 2008, and people stop watching it. It doesn't help the content that the new G4 was making was crap too. The new content was boring, and the older content try too hard to feel fresh.

What's G4?

It was an American/Canadian (mostly American) premium cable channel dedicated to tech, gaming, and the rising internet culture in the 00s.

You can probably guess why such a thing would have an issue gaining traction in the Year of Our Godoka 2022.

The stuntmans/martial artists deserves more recognition.

All parts of the entertainment industry deserve more recognition. Stunt performers, set dressers, prop makers and masters, all as important if not more to making a piece of media great as the face actors, directors, and writers.

Perhaps only sponsors and funding methods in general need to be improved.

The list of things that applies to is immense and against board regulations to mention.
