Toei made way too many Kurokage suits. Even Mr. space god Kouta had a matsubokkuri chestplate because...budget. Kurokage Shin is in a lazy level of its own though. They could have at least like. Tried recoloring it a little but. Naaaahhh let's just use the same damn suit.

Or remove a pauldron or change them, something, ANYTHING, just make it look different from the regular Kurokage suit. I'd settle for a different Ride Wear!

Basically, the lockseeds themselves put out so much power that adding additional armaments is both pointless and impractical, if not outright dangerous. You'd basically be going well over what the Driver is capable of handling; hence why you even need a Genesis Driver to use a Energy lock to its full abilities. The Genesis Core addon for the Sengoku Driver is basically an attenuator that lowers the Lockseed's output to a level the SD can actually handle.

-Apples and oranges are both fruits cut into slices, hence both having slicing weapons.
-There's a type of burst ammunition called a Grapeshot.
-Strawberries are shaped a little like the blade of a Kunai.
-When a Mango is traditionally cut and opened, the square shapes look like one half of a blunt mace weapon.

-The end of a Acorn can be fashioned to look like the head of a blunt hammer.

Personally I think it's pretty clear that the majority of the weapon selections were inspired by the fruit they belong to in some way. For most of these, obviously the fruit was decided first, the choice of weapon came later to reflect the said fruit. Not the other way around.
