Except you could take literally every single fruit listed and make the exact opposite weapon out of it. Except Suika arms, since it's size is obviously based on how big watermelons are compared to most fruit.

That still doesn't make any sense, and the show never said anything like that. (and Gaim was a show that explained as much as humanly possible) Lock Seeds aren't real, they could've given them unique weapons and that excuse wouldn't factor in. They all still have weapons, what makes a bow and arrow able to contain the power more than, like, a club or a sword or a gun? You're acting like what you said in any way makes logical sense in the real world or Gaim's fake world.

Aren't Energy Lockseeds more artificial than standard ones though? They're more powerful, but Yggdrasil might not gotten so far advanced with them as to give them all unique weapons.

Meanwhile Kachidoki was created by a godlike being, so naturally thats going to be more powerful and get its own weapon.

That's a better explanation than "they're too powerful to have unique weapons." Though it still kinda falls flat, since the Sengoku drivers are what transform the fruit into Lock Seeds as well as transform their energy into armour/weapons, so Yggdrasil was still responsible for those. The armour/weapons aren't something Helheim produced by itself.

But of course all of this is conjecture, and the real reason is Bandai didn't make individual weapons due to lack of budget or lack of planning. Still, there's nothing in-universe that logically prohibits the ELS' from having unique weapons.

That's true, I was just more putting forward the idea that if the Energy Lockseeds weren't so far ahead as the standard variety, that the Sonic Arrow was the best Yggdrasil had come up with so far to accommodate that level of power. It's a melee and a range weapon all in one, so it might have just been left at that as everyone turned their attention toward bigger things.

But yeah, this is all just trying to apply an excuse as to why it didn't happen rather than a genuine reason why it couldn't.

To be fair though, Ryoma did say that the main reason the Sengoku Drivers have all of those unique catchphrases is for his own amusement (basically). The Genesis Drivers in comparison are no-nonsense, less gimmicky versions of the prototypes. I'd imagine Ryoma wanted to keep the most powerful Rider gear amongst him and his colleagues so that the power wouldn't be used against him.

That being said the Sonic Arrow pretty much covers everything you'd need in a weapon, and in that regard doesn't sacrifice functionality and practicality for the sake of gimmicky weapons.

Of course this is just my way of making sense of something that was likely only done to save money. :lol

Well, if you think about it, the Sengoku Drivers went to a bunch of teens. And the Genesis Drivers went to adults. During the fight between Sigurd and Gaim, Sigurd said "Adults don't have times for dreams", or something along that line. He also said "You should have stuck to the script we gave you".


My personal opinion is that I think the reason why the Sengoku Driver was given to the Beat Dancers because they were gimmicky and Ryoma saw them as kids. Gimmicks tend to be more for kids. While the Genesis Drivers were given to the adults because they weren't gimmicky. *shrugs* My opinion only.

On the other hand.
