I'm fine with the energy riders having the same weapon. It just made it feel like a higher thing only a few can have.

"Only a few" is like seven different characters/forms.

And it's not really badass at all, it's just a tech bow/arrow. It has no motif, no creative design. It functions like any other toy bow and arrow, limits posing ability, and just looks gross with so many characters weilding it. It aesthetically clashes where the unique weapons didn't.

"All these kids with their fruit weapons" is massively more entertaining, creative, and fun than these so-called "adults" and their one lame ass weapon that the show said is cool, but really isn't.

Color-scheme and design of the Genesis Driver is the motif, which is a futuristic, mechanical design with clear bendy straw elements. The Sonic Arrow perfectly fits the Driver, which is fitting to the story since the Driver is built to work with artificial lockseeds, so the new weapon implemented looks like the Driver design-wise.

That's BS and you know it. They obviously put a lot of thought into the design and functionality and it shows.

Because it is a bow and arrow. What should it do to be different? A bow and arrow shoots people, they implemented blades so it can be used as a sword-like weapon. What else could a bow do that isn’t completely ridiculous?

Don't think so. It fits the belt perfectly just like the other unique weapons fit their armor perfectly. If the weapons "aesthetically clash" with all the suits then the Genesis Driver does the same. And in continuation the Sengoku Driver for the basic armor, just because it isn't sharing every aesthetic of every armor.

Even if you were to include Mitsuzane's time as Zangetsu-Shin (and I wouldn't since he was just using his brother's gear, so it makes sense that he'd have the same weapon), the number of Sonic Arrow forms wouldn't even comprise half of the total number of the show's forms. And when you consider that 3 of the Riders in the show weren't even suppose to have access to energy drivers in the first place, I could very well see that the Sonic Arrow was only intended for a select few.

That's because it's a bow and arrow. Do you complain about Gridon's hammer just being a hammer? Or Baron's lance just being a lance? Or Ryugen's gun just being a gun?

It has about as much posing ability as virtually any other weapon.

There's like 5 characters in the show that use it in any consistent basis.

How does it clash? It was quite literally designed to match one of the most instantly noticeable parts of any Kamen Rider design.

Like ZeoRanger said, I meant "variety." You're gonna be hard pressed to find distinct poses between all the Energy riders.

"Gross" as in "grossly disproportionate" or "grossly overdone." I don't know what I meant to put there, I didn't mean gross as in like a booger or something, but I guess I left out the important part of that descriptor.


The Genesis driver is also a small piece of equipement. Just because they share an aesthetic doesn't mean they'll both clash. A tiny little driver that's an accent piece at best isn't the same as the bigass weapon posing revolves around. The only riders I think decently pull of the Sonic Arrow are Baron and Marika, since the red gels with their colours. (Siguard kinda works, but he's more of a blood red and hsi suit colour is more drab) On everyone else it's like they took someone else's weapon.

It takes two to tango, bro. (or in this case like four or five) All I said is I didn't like the Sonic Arrow and wished everyone had unique weapons. That literally would've been that if their weren't scads of folks trying to shut me up. Which I don't mind, but you can't villainize me without also villainizing yourself and everyone else. My position is not inherantly immoral or objectively unjustified.

And yet they all became major players. Most of the middle fights of the show only include the Sonic Arrrow. Considering Giam, Baron and the energy Riders were all mainstay characters until the latter chunk, with almost all Sengoku wearers falling to the background, it was still heavily disproportionate.

No, it's overuse makes it not badass. If it was one person's weapon, it'd be fine, but like big budget CGI in action films, it quickly looses it's p'zazz with saturation. But really, as a main weapon, none of those aspects are cool enoughto justify it's use.

Again, it matches one small part of the design. That hardly makes it a good fit for, say, the guy that's all black and dark blue now.

How does the Sonic Arrow match the helmets or armour? You mean the belt? No way is the belt the most noticable part of any Rider design. It's a focal point, but especially in Gaim, the torso and head are always the most recognisable part.

Then that's a personal problem, because I'm not. I didn't even do the "pick apart people's posts in a billion quotes" thing. They did that to me. They started twisting logic, changing examples, vehemently defending every single angle of the thing.

Remember when all I said was "I'm sick of the Sonic Arrow I wish they just had more unique weapons" and people just couldn't let me have that? It's not like I never talk about how much I love Gaim, I have Lemon Energy Baron sitting in my cart right now waiting for pay day, one little criticism shouldn't matter.
