Got my Dragonranger and Cyclone bike for Kamen Rider from HLJ last night! Woo! I'll try to take pictures tonight.

Would anyone happen to have the kanji to search Mandarake for extra stands/stages for my growing collection of crack, er, Figuarts?

Try this, 魂ステージ
Though there isn't much up right now. |
Thanks, guys! Another set of searches to save to my file. Is there another place I can look for deals on stands? eBay and Amazon seem to run similarly, price-wise.

Is anyone else having weird problems with Mandarake at the moment. I go to look for things but it brings up all the stuff that's sold out too, then refuses to get rid of them when I select "in stock items only".

Another question! :D
Anyone think that the Den-O Sword Form figure might get a re-release after the Rod/Gun pack comes out? Sword Form seems like a pretty scarce devil to find. |
Newbie here guys! so pls forgive if this has been asked
just getting hooked on sh figuarts kamen rider ryuki figs.. been a fan of shf for a long while and have shinken red and shinken gold, but that's it....a bit cost prohibitive and there weren't really any other figures that just screamed at me that i would have to have them....UNTIL...
Ryuki with dragreder....i looooooooove dragons...and seeing the toy has made me find the series to actually watch...i've been perusing video review and such to see what's all out which leads me to my main question.... I'm looking for all the contract monsters and based on a post from november of 2012 there were supposed to be some released...i know we're getting Scissors this month, but can't find info on release for his contract monster Volcancer....also saw pix of imperer with gigazelle, alt zero with psycorogue, femme and blanwing, biogreeza and destwilder....yet i cannot find these anywhere to order or buy ....is it that they never were released, after almost a full year? delays? cancellations? or are they out and just SUPER DUPER rare that I can't find them anywhere online? next question is where is the best place to be able to buy them or preorder them, expecially the exclusives...Can't order directly from Tamashiiwebshop because i don't live in China...Bluefin is for retailers/resellers only....mandarake seems to have no real stock of anything...so all these people that don't live in china or have stores that get these exclusives right when they're out...how the heck are they doin that? where are they buying/preordering them? last question for now....I have also noticed some beautiful looking SIC kamen rider OOO figs upcoming....also can't order them, but i hear things like they are not poseable...yet on the review i see, they seem pretty poseable, similar to SHF tho to a lesser degree....can anyone shed light on the main diff between SIC and SHF figures? are they just as articulated, etc...? |

Not sure how the US based shops get exclusives. They probably have some connection or buy through a middleman service like everyone else. All of the SIC OOO figures are fully posable. At least the OOO Combo ones. Uva won't have much articulation though. I've got all the ones released so far, TaToBa, TaJaDol, GataKiriBa, PuToTyra, and I have ShaUTa pre-ordered. Still waiting on release information for LaToraTah and SaGoZo. SHF are 4-5 inch scale. SIC are 8 inch scale. The older SICs are apparently prone to breakage. In general they seem to be a bit more fragile than SHF, but they are just as articulated. And a lot of SICs have some gimmick to incorporate different forms. Like the W ones are able to swap halves and the OOO ones can swap head/arms/legs to make random combos. |

hey guys I stumbled on this article and was wondering if anyone could give me more info on the figures shown. Like are we still waiting, are they cancelled? Whats the deal

It's not uncommon for prototypes to be shown and then hearing nothing about them for months (just ask Saga). The only thing to do is to wait and hope Bandai makes an announcement in the future. |

It's a shame about Master Asia too as he looked awesome, whereas Domon was just "OK". I just got Ryu Ranger the other day, and with Kiba Ranger coming out soon, I'd like to see the rest of that team soon.

How important it is is getting stands? Currently I have about 20 SHF and 10 more to come, Im not a huge fan of posing every single one into dynamic poses. I have 20 stands.
I remember seeing some one mention that using a stand even for standing poses is better as it can help prevent damage to the figure itself. Can someone clarify this for me please. |
I never found stands desperately important. To put it harshly, if a figure can't achieve basic standing poses without falling, it's got no business in my collection. My Ryuki SHFs are super well balanced and stand fine unless I rock the shelf. (which I did once leaving a silver scuff on Zolda's thigh. :( But I'm an idiot)
|
I only ever get stands when I have a specific display in mind (Such as Ryuki's Final Vent). Otherwise, they're not really necessary beyond extra stability.
|
I guess I have bought enough for several dynamic poses.
Bluefin posted a picture of White ranger/kiba ranger box art, the figure looks great, http://https://www.facebook.com/Tamashii.USA?ref=ts&fref=ts. I wonder what use does the extra blade of byakkoshinken/Saba have. |

I'm just glad that we're getting the Agile Cat Ranger period. |
Finally got around to opening up the Figuarts I picked up from my August AmiAmi order:
Blade - Top-notch quality, like the Ryuki Figuarts, so any critiquing feels like nitpicking. I would've liked metal feet like the Ryuki Riders, but he's still pretty stable without it. The stickers weren't...as irritating as I'd afraid they'd be (there've been stickers as tiny or tinier from Prime Arms Micron figures as these ones), but the stickers don't feel like they have much adhesive, so I am afraid they'll end up vacuum bait someday. Tiger - My fifth Ryuki Rider but first without a contract monster to increase bang for the buck value. Solid figure though. Dest Claws aren't the easiest to pop in to his wrist joint, but they look pretty slick when you can get them on securely. Tajadol Combo - My first OOO Figuart. He's ok; his aesthetic appeal certainly helps make up for some lackluster accessories and any issues with the body. His wings should've been included though. Wizard Flame Style - I've debated picking this one up for a while but was hesitant after some complaints about QC issues. Aside from some slightly loose feet, mine's come up aces so far. I like the variety of skirts (mine came with the first release Strike Robe bonus) and like Tajadol, the red they used makes him very eye catching. I was already looking into the Wizard Effects Part Set, but now I'm more motivated to get it (though I don't really have enough room right now to display the oversized arm part from the effects part set). |
I think the Byakkoshinken has two modes to represent it when Kou isn't and is transformed. I don't remember an instance in which it extended during a fight.
Not sure why Kibaranger would need both versions, if that is the case, because he's obviously transformed. Although it might've been unextended whenever Kou held it up so Byakko could talk for him. Quote:

Edit: Nevermind. I saw my idiocy as soon as I posted. Nothing to see here, move along. :D
Edit 2: Thought of a question as to make this post worthwhile: Are there any 3rd party generic effects that are more or less in scale with the SHF stuff? |
