Does synchronize work on the Ultra Beasts? About to start the quests to get them and not looking forward to all the soft resetting.

Granted I don't have any synchronizers either, but those would probably be easier to go catch first.

They should, since you encounter them like any other wild Pokémon.

As for the Ability Capsule thing, I would prefer them to either work for getting Hidden Abilities or they were easier to get. If they could get Hidden Abilities, I'd say they're worth the effort.

Of course, I've got a Shiny Marowak, but it's got the wrong nature and IVs while my otherwise correct one has the HA ability, which I didn't even want...

So of course getting an HA for anything without an obvious "I've got the HA" like Imposter or Snow Warning. Of course, outside of the greatness that is the Search Dex, it's not really that much more annoying than the Gen 6 methods.

They do work on UBs. Just remember to faint the synchronizer if it's a lowlevel mon, otherwise a free Beast Boost happens and that's terrifying

Wanted to take a break by finally trying the Battle Royals. Damn am I shit at this. Don't want to even try the Tree now ugh. Maybe once the Bank update is out and I can transfer some things.
