The funny part is, all of us are at different places in the series :lol
|
Yeah I'm watching through Den-O extremely slowly.
|
I on the other hand already finished the whole show plus all of the movies. so.... yeah.
|
The pace that Black 17 moved at made me feel like I was on crack, within the first three minutes a Tapir Mutant was making weird noises and collecting dreams in bubbles which would explode if incorrect and which he could control if they were correct. It never made any more sense than it did in those opening few minutes....
|
With all these people watching Den-O it makes me wonder... Am I the only person watching Kiva?

Really enjoying Ryuki, I'm up to episode 22. I love how even the writers acknowledge the first 1/4 / 1/2 of Ryuki has been hella slow, so Shiro says he put in Ouja to speed things up. And...... I knew it was coming with Kamen Rider Gai, but I didn't expect it in the first real battle with Ouja in it.
The crisis with Shinji and Ouja is gonna get really interesting since Shinji doesn't want to kill but he needs to stop Ouja. Since Ouja is going to be in at least up to episode 40( saw a title card for a video with Ouja and Tiger in it) I want to see where this goes. I know what's gonna happen with Raia but I'm a lot more interested in his character now, he's not afraid of his impeding death. And what the hell happened with Ren? His character development stopped and now he's helping out Ouja? I've gotta say, this probably hands down is my second favorite rider series out of the four I've nearly completed. It has the stuff from OOO I really liked, where sides are constantly shifting and stuff is getting introduced that messes up the flow of everything else. So would OOO be a pseudo re-imagining of the Rider war but more limited? |

He's no Shotaro, but he's not entirely pointless in the grand scheme. |

Like I say he's had maybe five minutes of screentime on his own in these ten episodes so I physically don't have enough to hate him, but after Eiji and watching Haruto each week this guy is like the worst protagonist after Godai. |

Ryuki 39:
Okay, Tiger is exactly what I expected Ouja to be. Now here is a fucked up villain. He's just so... demented. He shed a tear for his colleague he killed, but acts completely apathetic, and says he'll probably cry for Ryuki, too. He's so quiet and unerving, like an actual psychotic, not the cartoonishly evil Ouja. (oh, and BTW, every single person in this universe is an idiot since the lawer is going to get him his deck back. If I was law enforcement in Japan I'd be offended) Tiger really seems dangerous, since he just attacks without warning. Very unsettling. Plus his design is even more awesome than Ouja, but the helmet looks strangley damaged. His final attack is pretty lame though, but then again Ryuki and Zolda are the only ones with cool finales. The mirror monsters defending Yuiseless is interesting, and it showed her drawing them as a child. Also, one of the Alternative users has not only died, but their boss has another alt deck, AND they not only have a plan to close the mirror world but Alternative seems to be a hyper learner and Odin is, obviously, still alive and apparently just some random dude playing the part. I wonder now what happens to the other two Tiger decks and what having more than one deck means. So anyway, LOTS of stuff going on, but one little problem: we're only ten episodes from the finale, why is this all kicking off now? Ryuki hasn't had the worst pacing ever, but literally half of the Ojua nonsense could have been this shit, and I have a feeling even more is to come. I hope this doesn't lead to a trunticated and fast-paced later run. |
It seems Kamen Rider has a penchant for just lulling around until presenting it's guns during the final 10 episodes. It still does so, even today. I do hope they change that tendency for Gaimu.
|
I heard people don't like Tiger, why is that? I think he's a good villain (Like, I'm not gonna root for him or anything) and better than Ouja. Does he do something I should be prepared for?
Also, is there any movie that takes place during the series I need to watch out for? |
I know people don't like Gai. Haven't heard much about people not liking Tiger..
I think it may be because he wasn't as gleefully evil as Ohja was, most likely. |

Blade had some likeable points, but was much too slow and with crappy fight scenes for me to ultimately enjoy any of the positive.
Kuuga was just trash though, I have no idea why the fandom gargles it so bad. It has every single problem people have with Wizard, magnified a hundred fold, complete with a whole heap of its own unique problems. Ichijou is the only good thing about the series. |

i just finished wizard 13 and i'm buying all of wizard's shit cuz i like the principal of ring combos even though my listening to riders rangers and rambles spoiled the fact that power up's will be spammed and shit XD

OOOs first half kinda sucks but trust me the second half is Rider at its finest, has one of the best finales as well.

Watched Blade 29 and 30, it was nice to see Chalice have a storyline it has been awhile since he did. It was a fun one, I swear the comedy parts of Blade was where Den-O was born from because this is some of the funniest things I've seen. Also I think a small bit of Otoya's personality from Kiva came from the character Ryou here. Also I really hope they make Figuarts of the Jack Forms of Blade and Garren because Garren Jack Form is extremely badass and I love Blade's too. Anyways I'm excited for more of the Leangle Saga next time and I felt bad for what happened to Shima I hope his sacrifice pays off.

You know you can enjoy something, and be critical of it, I won't think you are less of a fan if you admit faults, if anything that makes you more of a fan. Like I love Wizard but I know full well how shitty it can be. |

I can write an essay on the faults with Blade, but the primary fault you had with it (Dull action) wasn't something I'd list because I actually liked it. Having rewatched snippets of the series, I really don't have much issue with the fight scenes. I found them entertaining. You can acknowledge and admit faults of shows you like, but that doesn't mean every problem is universal between everyone (For example, I found the middle of OOO was actually the worst, not the start). |

Watched 31-32 of Fourze both regular and DC.
I loved the episode, everything from Ryuusei's fall and rise Gentaro's return, thanks to cosmic states and even the delightfully weird Aries. That said the whole thing about the school was kinda stupid, if they never left somebody would have noticed, and if they left it everyday, why the heck would they return!? |
