Must not get spoiled for X & Y with under a week left. I Haven't even seen the final form of the starters yet & I intend to keep it that way. Until I get Y at least.

Well when you put it that way... I'm gonna post them anyway.

Game Freak is way more quiet with the Pokédex than usual. By now we'd usually get most of the full dex, barring any "secret" Pokémon (like Celebi and Deoxys). Definitely the three starters would have been revealed in full by now.

True. The final evolutions of the starters are why we often pick certain starters. Especially when it comes to secondary typing.

On a side note, I bought Black2 today just so I can have the supplemental training features of it. X may be coming out next Saturday, but I'm impatient for new stuff.:D

Its really just the change in release schedule that's throwing us off.

Normally the game would come out in Japan or other overseas markets several months before the US, or most other places. That gave players and bloggers some advance time to play through the game and put up Pokedexs online.

But X & Y were planned for simultaneous worldwide release. If not for the leakers we'd all probably be going in blind.

I'm usually not very bothered by leaks since I tend to avoid media coverage of most games past their initial debut, but this is something of a special case. It's as if the minute one of my friends hears so much as a rumor about either game, I'll have it regurgitated onto me instantly. I'm trying to go in blind too, but I've ended up hearing most things through hearsay. Loses a lot of the magic.
