I beat the first two chapters of Last specter, man do i love the setting i this game.

Right now I'm working on getting all 100 Sun Stones in Kirby Triple Deluxe.
So far the game's been fun! At one point I'll learn how to deal with the bosses without getting TOO frustrated (seriously fuck you Pyribbit) and while Part 6 of DeDeDe Tour was a slog and a half it was overall a fun mode. Of the four new abilities I'm liking Archer the most and I'm sure Taliman will get a kick out of this; the game says spears are weapons of real warriors when you have the Spear Ability. |

I'm glad to hear that Triple Deluxe is a good game, I haven't played a Kirby game since Amazing Mirror, but I think I'll pick this one up. |
More Last of Us. God I love a good molotov, but punching people in the throat works pretty great also.
Continuing more on my tales of morals and ethics, I found a handwritten letter today that chronicled the way the Hunters fell apart and became the animals they are now. That Hunter who begged for me to wait, he was probably a normal person once, innocent once and he just had to do what he had to do to survive. In a world like this, who says what is right and what is wrong? No one starts a monster. Now we're out of the city, world building through play is only becoming stronger and tighter. From discovering a boat on the beach, which leads to the sewers we begin to follow Ish through the letters they left behind. This then leads into the shell of what was once a community of people hoping to survive, how their story played out is told to us simply by the fact there are Clickers roaming around the area. This rich story telling and deep understanding of their own world, is then held together by a wonderfully grim but maturely realised tone. This is a dark game, never gratuitous and never cheap. It takes a strong stomach but this is a game of powerful moments, which aren't pre rendered scenes but merely told as you poke around the remnants of the places you visit. That could just as easily be skipped if you chose to do so. It reminds me of Rapture so much. I think this trip through the Sewer Community has been the highlight of the game for me so far. I would one day love to play a survival game that chronicles the whole journey. I get that trying to imagine life before is half of the charm of these kinds of games but like I dunno, just a glimpse of happier times would be much appreciated. I heard in Burial By Sea you get to see Rapture before it goes to hell, so I really need to play that. |
Just made it past chapter 3 in Last specter.

The Last of Us is brilliant. It's gotten so good I don't really have much to talk about. I could just gush about how much I'm now enjoying the game but I usually like my posts to be a bit more constructive than that.

Good news and bad news on the Triple Deluxe front!
I now own all 100 Sun Stones and with them a shiny Queen Sectonia keychain! I have to admit getting them all was rough in a few spots but overall I'm glad I have them all and with a ribbon on the Story Mode option on the main menu! However True Arena was going well....then the roadblock known as Shadow DeDeDe came and since I lost Stone fighting Queen Sectonia DX he overpowered my Sword ability and sliced what remained of my life to pieces. The worst part about this is if I beat Shadow DeDeDe I have Dark Meta Knight and Soul of Sectonia to deal with...... and SoS has two forms before you can beat True Arena!!!! Mamma Mia; I'm in for a long hard road. Also SideSwipePrime when you have time get this game. It's lots of fun!!! |
I finished chapter 4 of Last specter.
I love scenes in a market place for some reason. |
