Try "My Bride is a Mermaid" or "Mawaru Penguindrum" instead.

Both will make you go "WTF?!" but in VERY different ways: one is melodrama featuring people with serious mental issues getting fucked with by a terminally ill girl possessed by a sexy penguin goddess and the other is batshit comedy about a schmuck who gets in trouble with the mob by being a hopeless schmuck who has to either marry the mob boss' daughter or get axed.

What do you mean watch something else? I kind of like the show. I'm not one for fan-service, and we all know that's what Kill la Kill is for the main part. But I like the idea of "living clothes". It's interesting.

Started watching the original Mobile Suit Gundam in my long quest to finally watch all the Gundam shows.

And goddamn I didnt expect this show to be so dark. Saw the first three yesterday and man there is some really heavy stuff in those episodes about experiencing war at a young age, being confronted with death and what effect it has on you being responsible for the death of others.

Cant wait to dig deeper into this show cause so far I´m really liking it.

I've seen the Movie version of MSG but not the original show proper, which I imagine has a lot more fucked up shit in it due to the running time. Hope you make to the end to see the amazing Zeta Gundam!!!!


Eureka 7 episode 24

Pretty good episode, with how Renton is being torn by Charles' and Rays' true identities. And how Holland finally got off his stubborn ass and is going to do something once he figures out Renton is actually crucuial to get their saving grace LFO (Neirvash) to work.

It looks like Renton is going to return to the Gekko judging by how the arc is going, but I was hoping for something more unique, like him beign reunited with Eureka but on the couple's ship and the Gekko destroyed, with the series picking up from there.

And thus, the people rejoiced!

Eureka 7 episode 25

William and his wife are totally old people. No seriously, they live out along, Will takes care of her despite her immobile condition, he toils away at his land, he's totally an old person. I wish his and his wife's backstory was much clearer but this was a nicely paced one episode story.

Finished what Netflix had to offer on Gargantia, so no extra episodes or OVAs. Gonna be weird switching to subs since they'll probably be what I find online.

But hey, ended up really liking it in the end.

Eureka 7 episode 26

Really good episode. I loved the reunion of Renton and Eureka and it was cool to see the Type Zero use another ability. Although the whole disarming thing seems like a Kira from Gundam seed destiny thing (which is bad).

I honestly hope that Eureka and Renton ditch the Gekko and go somewhere else, since I feel like the ship holds them back and those characters annoy me a bit now.

Attack on Titan episode 6

Pick this one back up on Netflix, which oddly doesn't have the dub. oh well, I can switch back and forth.

Wow. This episode really made me think about how Eren and Misaka weren't innocent kids prior to the Colossal titan incident. i sense something was wrong with Eren in the first few episodes but not killing people

Had time to watch some more Gundam and damn this show isnt pulling any punches. Five episodes in and there is so much heavy and dark stuff in there that I wasnt expecting to get going in.

So has Gundam Recon gotten better? Just curious since for some reason my automatic downloads on it stopped downloading it around episode 22 and I want to know if I should even bother continuing to download it.

Saw the 1st 2 episodes of Gargantia. I love everything about this show so far. The visuals, the setting, the story, is all awesome.

Is 25 the latest one to air? I guess my downloads didn't stop that long ago then since 22 is the last one I have. I thought the series would have been in the 30s by now.

Nope, it's only a half length show like Build Fighters.

Sweet, Hulu had the two extra episodes of Gargantia, so I watched those. Weird having them come after the end of the series, but I did like the second. So that just leaves the OVAs to find.

This week's Yamada was so disappointing. So terribly, incredibly disappointing. :( I really want to know what people who haven't read the manga feel about the pacing, because even trying to take myself out of that mindset, things just went too fast by far. All of Noa's arc in a single episode?! That was too damn much.

In contrast, I also watched the second OVA tonight. Strange how I enjoyed that one more when I love Noa so much... Probably because it was properly paced. Despite being an original story, it was given time to develop and become enjoyable.

Wait, so the series ended?

Wow, and the ending was that bad? Guess this is a case where the creator of a franchise has no idea how to do another of his own series anymore. Serves the ****er right though for talking shit about how the current anime series sucks.

Tomino is to anime what Frank Miller is to comics.

So I watched amagi brillant park during last week. I early enjoyed it. I sarted watching the dissaperiance of nagato Yuki san I likeing it alot. I still don't know if o need to watch the movie first before it. I know disappearance of hauri is set in the same universe and Yuki san then the original anime.

Well yeah, Victory did suck, but I don't recall hearing him talk down upon the anime of the time and saying the voice actors were bad.

At this point, Tomino can purge this blight on Gundam and his reputation by doing ZZ Gundam compilation movies as his last project and fixing that show to balance out the bad one he just made. It's probably never gonna happen, but I can dream....

So I should bother with watching Victory Gundam is what you all are saying? Because I'm nearly done with 08th MS Team, and was wanting to try another older Gundam series.

Guess it's just Zeta for me then.
