I am significantly less interested in the movie now. The only thing that still has me slightly interested is more evidence that Ho-Oh will have a prominent role, which is all I wanted.

It really didn't need to be about another freaking mythical already, especially when there's only one this generation. Could have waited.

There's 2. Magearna and Marshadow.

What really screwed this up IMO was them using Zygarde in the anime and not in a movie along with Volcanion, instead of Magearna.

Unless they add new Pokemon to the next Gen 7 games(If there are anymore Gen 7 games), this generation is going to be the shortest ever.

This movie looks really good a movie base around Hooh set in Kanto with other pokemon from different Gens gonna be exciting to watch.

Hooh was a pokemon that I always wanted to have his own movie and after 20 years he finally gets one I'm very happy about this.

I'm cool with Ho-Oh getting a more prominent role. It's my favorite legendary.
I'm fine with them adding in later gen Pokemon. It just makes sense.
I'm not fine with them replacing Brock and Misty. I love Brock, and...Misty is cool, too...It just doesn't make sense. Makes me a little disappointed.

A lot of my excitement has tempered because of that change.

im taking this film more set in AU as in some of the original story still there mainly ash leaving but the rest after that will be changed.

Ah yes, forgot about Magearna since we got it already.

Yeah dropping Misty and Brock is a huge turn off for me too. I was especially looking forward to seeing Misty again since it's been forever since we last saw her properly.

The first thing they showed of the movie advertised it as a retelling of the original. Granted, the original show was outright bad imo but there's a reason people expected those popular characters to return. All I care about is that they might have teased sinnoh remakes. I need my glorious Giratina to get more lovely toys.

i under stand that when the teaser came up but everyone still did not know what was going to be the film until the new plot trailer came out.
