This have a theory that Vice is not ikki's True demon
His demon is probably is deep in his body
It might probably part of Giffus body
So Vice probably like just a normal demon
It will probably control Ikki
Something like Evolto with Sento in Build
Joining or taking over Ikki's Body in the end Vice and Ikki will
Unite and that will be the
Super form or Being controlled by "True Inner Demon" the Berserk form like
The hazard form or and
Be the super form after regaining Ikki's mind
So that is just my theory

Find that unlikely, especially now where we are in this show. Vice has displayed many things in the show, even being outright explained by Kagerou, that he is Ikki's demon. Ikki is secretly, maybe not being aware of it, an attention hog and Vice has displayed that perfectly.

Vice is certainly Ikki's inner demon but now, this many weeks into the show's run, I feel like anybody claiming that Vice is intentionally meant to represent anything about Ikki's character or desires or subconscious or whatever is giving the show too much credit. He has only ever been just mascot who tells jokes at the camera, and while they can certainly choose to change that later on, there's no way it won't feel like a retcon to me.

Maybe you're not giving Vice enough credit? It's true that he's mostly comedic, but he's also shown on at least 4 occasions to be the voice of reason whenever Ikki is being ignorant.

"Don't drink that poisoned beverage from the suspicious onsen staff."
"Even if you don't care about me, if you die, you won't protect anybody."
"You say you believe in Daiji, but that doesn't mean you actually believe in him."

Yukimi is a voice of reason as well, but there are things that parents can't convey to their children. So Vice can act as an advocate, as he lives inside Ikki's head and knows exactly what to say and how to get through to him by pushing his buttons.

And hope he deserve more development in arc 2. Wonder if Vice & Yukimi can work things out when he's in physical form? If Yukimi's still scared of Vice, she's gotta face him somehow.

Oh for sure, Vice made a real bad move trying to eat the only person who actually shares his wisdom. But if he can get Yukimi on his side, they might stand a better chance at holding the family together.

I think I've figured out a way for a Vistamp to have two modes. The top would function as a dial, and rotating it 45 degrees in either direction would select the setting that's being used, and then you press the button on top, which causes it to light up and reveal which setting you picked on the front (there would also be smaller logos on the corresponding sides), and it can be used like a normal Vistamp.
