Watched Episodes 40-44 of Blade and finally! Finally the show is where I've been waiting for! I love the 4 of them working together it makes me so happy. Also finishing the character arc of Leangle was extremely long but worth it in my opinion. Love Hajime he is so awesome right now. I love when Garren and Blade are working together and love the similarities with Garren and Leangle. Love all the different pairs with these characters. Also the comedy bits in Blade are outstanding they don't happen often but they are totally laugh out loud funny.

I'll accept that Kuuga is a good character in Decade.
Decade himself, though, is terrible. He's an attempt to rehash Tendou's perfection while also being down to earth, so in the end, he's unstoppable and infallible, but he's a complete dick to everyone while everyone else defends him as "That's just how he is/He's trying to help you in his own way/etc." Diend varies. Honestly, I never suggest anyone should watch Decade first. I don't care how much of a taste it gives of the previous 9 Riders (And Black and Amazon), people should be decisive. If they ask "What series should I begin with?" give them a show you think they'd enjoy. Don't just shove Decade in their face and tell them "This one ruins every other Rider, so start here." |

Bashing Wizard's story to me is like bashing Mario's story. Its pointless its an excuse to fight shit. Decade though is like bashing a game with a heavy plot on which the game's base lies but fails. Its a legitmate complaint and makes you wonder why did they spend all of that time and money making a stupid story that was put to the forefront. |
I'm going to disagree there. Diend and Kuuga were good, but Decade, no, just no. I hated the character. I hated the actor playing the character. He seemed like he was forcing his lines at times and was just disinterested in doing the show in the first place. Not to mention his attitude was just aholish, making me wonder why Natsumi even wants to be associated with him. He isn't Kaixa bad, but he definitely did not even prove himself to be worth of a lead Kamen Rider.
|
I suppose that since most of my hate was directed towards Diend, I never was particulary annoyed by Tsukasa.
And honestly his jerk tendencies were at least different from 50 episodes of introverted Wataru. So it was something of a breath of fresh air. |

It's kind of an issue with all of Inoue's shows, actually. Agito definitely had a disconnect between the goofy Shouichi and the more direct Agito and Takumi was a lot less cocky and aggressive than Faiz. I can't help but wonder what Inoue's rationale behind that was. |
Just saw Den-O: Final COuntdown, so Micheal Jackson stared in Kamen Rider? :lol Im serious I couldnt watch Shirou without thinking of that dude.
Oh and I was thinking and went back and watched the final scene of the series, Ryotarou said Hana was the forgotten singular point from the destroyed future and since Airi and Sakurai had a forgotten kid. That makes Hana the kid and Ryotarous niece? Oh man Im not sure if that answers or makes more questions. |
18 - 19 of Black. The episodes that remembered Battle Hopper.
These episodes were very enjoyable, and really raised the stakes in a way the show really needed but it felt like the budget was pushed to the very limits. For the most part I think the show has aged well, all things considered, but in these episodes...Jesus, who the fuck edited this? And who the fuck said this editing was okay? Plus, although I loved the Sword Saint for really pushing Black to his limits (if it wasn't for really contrived storytelling, Black would have probably died) he had basically no personality and his whole face stealing thing...was pointless. I also kinda wish the show had more character moments, Kotaro is insanely likeable and they've really handled the dual identity stuff well but Kotaro is barely seen out of his suit, so the side characters are barely seen either. Also I'm so fucking fed up of that Love and Peace song, the song is terrible anyway but being blared over every fight scene is even worse. |

I like the rest of Black's soundtrack, but that Love and Peace song is seriously awful. |
Den-O 11 - 12. Wow there were a lot of continuity errors in these episodes.
Ryou is still awful, but Kintaros is just ridiculous, I love him and Momo is as enjoyable as ever, so it kinda balances out. We got more exploration of the whole time travel aspect in the series, including our first dafuq paradox which was a lot of fun for a sci-fi nerd/Doctor Who fan like me. No wonder Owner doesn't want you messing with time! Plus the action in this series is as enjoyable as ever, even with insanely shit CGI, Axe Form is beyond awesome. Next Figuart? I think so. Wait that model kids father...is the White Wizard?! Hell Koyomi and that model are practically the same character, I guess he likes playing the asshole Dad of lolicons. What a weird thing to become typecast as. I have to ask though, why don't the Imagin just fuck shit up in the present? |

I have to ask though, why is none of this layered into the plot already? Although I like the show, I'm 12 episodes in and the plot hasn't even started yet, they mentioned Single Points like twice and when Ryou asked what they were, the show just dropped it and it was never brought up again. I have so many other questions, many of which you've thankfully answered for me, but I wish the show at least hinted that answers were coming. |

I would never say it ruins the other rider series, it's like Gokaiger for Sentai it gives you a taste of all the past Heisei Riders (Plus Black, Black RX and Amazon) and gives you interesting and fun characters. I enjoy Decade's personality honestly it appeals to me. Also my friend watched it too and he enjoyed the series too. Also the world's in Decade are Parallel Worlds with similar powered Riders but not the exact same thing and shows the overall themes of the show. However I still hate Decade's AR Wataru he was annoying |
Ok, Den-O Trilogy Episode Red-
If I didnt love the series enough, I REALLY love this movie. Im not sure if its the fact that I love Zeronos, Yuuto, and especially Airi;), but this is my favorite thing about Den-O right now, I mean it finally closes up the Yuuto and Airi relationship thing and I really want to see this touched more on :lol If there has been any Toku movie/series I want to rewatch, It is this one. I really want some Zeronos stuff now :lol |

So saw Episode Blue, yea not feeling Koutarou and Teddy, dont get me wrong, they are cool, but Ive just prefered Ryotarous and the Taroses :lol That combined with how much I loved Ep. Red and I think I just watched this to finish it :lol Now to wath Ep. Yellow :lol |
Ryuki episodes 29 through 34
Most of this was filler with character devlopment. Little girl who wanted to be protected by Ouja was a fucking idiot no matter how much innocence Ryuki is throwing at me. Megumi is a bitch. End of story. Maybe I shouldn't watch those henshin montages because I know who Alternative is before the reveal of Alternative. Yui is progressivley doing less and less while Shirou keeps on saying more and more "Fight Riders...... this is for you Yui, I love you." She keeps getting pushed into the background and into a fucking sterotypical woman role. She is wearing dresses and Aprons more often and at this point, is never seen outside of the shop. Hell, Yui's grandmother is more relevant to the fucking plot since she actually has personality and whips Ren and Shinji into shape. In the first few episodes, Yui was helping look for Mirror monsters, tells Shinji what the fuck to do and manipulates Ren. She started getting back on track back in the 20s episodes when she was finding information out about Shirou, but now that subplot has been given to the reporter lady who is a better character by leagues. Yui has been doing nothing and is a waste of time. Even though I hate Megumi, her relationship with Kitowa was intresting and the annoying shit with Shinji, while didn't go anywhere yet, was still entertaining. " But you can't have Yui doing stuff all the time and her brother loves her enough for this Wackadoo Rider shit to happen isn't that enough?" No. While the show is showing me someone loves her, I need a reason to love her myself in order to care for the payoff. I look at all the characters around Yui and I love them more then I'm supposed to "love" Yui . At least the Riders have growth, Shinji is becoming less of a dumbass and a more agressive fighter, Ren's relationship with everyone could change drastically in the next few episodes, Kitowa is showing the side of him that's not a dick and Ouja..... is developing the lines he will and will not cross in the Rider war? Sorry for this long rant but it has been building up over the last 20 episodes. And thank god Ryuki survive showed up to move the plot again. Though compared to how Ren got his Survive card was lame. Shirou: "Here" Shinji: Okay Compared to the more drawn out and honorable tone if Ren's scene. |
Den-O 13, not really a lot to say on this, this was more a transitionary episode than one that really did much for me to comment on. That said the Imagin had a really cool design, Gun Form is pretty awesome and finally the secrets of the telescope!

Den-O Trilogy Episode Yellow-
About 30 minutes and...... This guy is butthurt becuase Diend took his family gun when he was a spoiled rich kid so he is going to make everyone else's life hell, and Koutarou/Teddy and Yuuto/Deneb are nowhere to be found when there is a friggin time cop going around getting the Den-Liner crew? |

So I figured this was the trope where the antagonist of the movie hates everyone because of child trauma, he is 'helped' by an artificial life form, then he becomes good after a series of events, the AI becomes crazy and a huge power spam is the only thing to destroy it. Oh and dont forget the part where the antagonist gets closure. Im not complaining, I just really hate when they do this but make the guy look like a total dick before anything happens. Oh and it wouldnt be Den-O without Owner and Station Master doing something with Fried Rice, man I am hungry now. :lol |

Why was Diend's K-touch Evil movie riders and not secondary Riders? Couldn't they have created a Decade Movie villian that fits with the card color motif and used what should not have been Diend's K-touch |

Episode 20 of Black was so dumb, the whole episode could be summed up with http://img2-1.timeinc.net/ew/i/2012/...ge_510x316.jpg
We High Priests are so smart, we worked out twenty episodes in that Kotaro is kind! Rather than targeting his family, we'll target this kid he met once for about thirty seconds! Oh this woman just turned up at my house with a briefcase full of money saying she is gonna buy my house, nothing suspicious at all! Still it deserves some kind of credit for having Kotaro fight a house in what I think is meant to be an Evil Dead reference. |

Although there's no evil plan better than Destron's plot to turn people into exploding flying squirrels in V3. |
While they are all movie Riders, they're also all evil movie Riders (while Skull himself wasn't evil, the Dummy Dopant did pretend to be him as an antagonist).
|
So watched OOO- Den-O- All Riders-
Awesome, I loved all the riders in it, and the fact that the secondary riders showed up, even though all I could make out was Accel and Birth :lol Also saw OOO 21 Core Medals- BuraKaWani is friggin sweet, and Eiji henshined into Birth? Didnt see that :lol |
Just watched the video for Shooting Star, Meteor is a total BAMF

He's downright threantening, yet he's a child in every way. Not even a goofball, an actual child. |
With all this talk of Den O, it reminded me I needed to finish it. I just got done with episode 41-42, and while it wasn't perfect, it had to be my favorite pair of episodes in the show. Especially in 42, you could feel the sadness all around. So many feels.

Watched the Super Hero Taihen net movies, and that was way more enjoyable than the actual movie
So let's dig into the Rider side (Rider murder case and Narumi agency) Gentaro was enjoying himself way too much in his role as a detective, also :lolol at the true culprit. Only thing that bothered me was W voice, he sounds so weird with a single voice instead of his two in one voice. The second half was hilarious, Narutaki and Urataros were a fun duo. |
Quote:
Philip and Shotaro rarely overlapped their voices. They talked independantly and Shotaro usually did the most talking anyway. |

Maybe they couldn't get Philip's actor back?
BTW, I've been dying to see this. Where'd you watch it? |
Tv-nihon has it.
Under both the Fourze section and the Go-busters one. |

I watched episodes 45-49 of Blade and I absolutely loved these episodes and how the series ended. A great ending for great characters and a great series. I love all of them working together. I love the final fights and the big confrontations at the end. I love how Kenzaki fought fate and won. I love how Hajime got his happy ending. Happy Tachibana fought for others and believed in his friends, and love Mutsuki fighting his heart out. Absolutely love these characters and this series it's as great as OOO and Kiva for me.
I'm onto Kabuto next after the Blade movie. Well maybe Kabuto, I might try the roulette again, I'm feeling like maybe Kabuto, Black, Hibiki, Faiz or Kuuga. |
