I think I'm most looking forward to Chou Akiba Red Super and the Den-O Rod Form/Gun Form two-pack. I'm fairly excited about the Hurricangers as well, but not as much as the others.

Look at those stupid DVD?BD cases movies come with nowadays. They have half of the case missing in the middle, making it even easier to damage the discs themselves when they are in the package than it was before. Not to mention that if the case falls on something with an edge it usually punctures a hole through the cover itself due to not having anything behind it to support it.

It never ceases to amaze me how little sense you make. Thinner cases are not detrimental to movie cases. Lack of a plastic window on SHF boxes really doesnt change anything either does it? Its not as though they're typically displayed in that box. Seeing them through a window isn't a necessity is it? How do either of these scenarios hurt consumers.

I wasn't referring to the lack of windows on the Figuart boxes, I was just saying in general, when companies try to go more "environmental friendly" routes with packaging, they make the packaging cheaper, but still charge the same amount to the consumer.

And I'm not talking about thinner cases to movies, I'm talking about the cases that have the recycle logo cut out of the case with the pie slices cut out of them. It leaves the disc and artwork more vulnerable to damage.

Kiba Ranger looks so damn good, could care less about the lack of hands. Obviously the extra Gokai Silver hands work just find. We all know Gai has more than enough to spare :lol

I might have to wait to get it in hand, but the white they used for him doesnt look good to me in the photos.

But Kiba has special hands... special as in his are pearly. Not much of a difference for something so small, but its there.

Those that have the SDCC Samurai rangers will have hands to match then. Great pics BTW.

I'm actually worried about the fact that no more Dairangers, Boukengers or Jetman have been announced. I'd be so sad if we didn't end up with the whole sets.

That is the figure that I always wanted as a kid. I remember being really enamored with the White Ranger, especially around the time of the movie. He looks perfect, absolutely perfect. I'm really glad I picked up Ryuranger, they fit together. I think I'll end up displaying him Ryuranger and not the MMPR.

The world needs the rest of the boukenger. If anything at least several of us here do.

Hell yes. I need the other 3 unreleased Boukengers, Zubaan, and the Acceltecters. If not a new release for each figure with the armor, then at least armor packs to buy for the figures.

I'm sure we will get the rest. They have the mold made for the male Dai body, so it would be a waste to not give them to us.

We saw the rest of Jetman in AkibaRanger, and the entire Bouken cast was shown previously. It is just a matter of time, as that seems to be what they like to do. Personally, I'd love to just see them do full team packs once they get done with all of the teams with Figuarts currently out or coming out. Getting the SDCC Shinkenger set just made me love the idea of a big pack to get all of the rangers in.

I'd rather not. You might be able to drop hundreds for an entire team at once, but I sure as hell can't. 2-packs are a much better alternative.

They might be expensive, but they will be shown months in advance, which gives you time to save up for them.

That is what I did with the SDCC stuff, I saved my money.

That only works in the scenario that releasing the entire team at once means less releases a month. However if you took it as releasing a team equals one slot per month (as opposed to 2-4 over a few months) that potentially means more releases coming at a faster rate, and I simply wouldn't be able to buy everything I wanted. I'm picky about what I can and can't afford right now as it is.

And yes, I'm well aware of the "you could always buy it off Mandarake at a later date" route, but who's to say entire teams aren't going to just go up in price?

For me personally, there is absolutely no way entire team sets is a better alternative to two-packs.

EDIT: Oh, and Bluefin isn't a viable option for me either by the way.

But that isnt coiunting for people that go to school, even college, but I am still in high school so its worse, plus if you work and pay for most of your stuff. When your parents wont pay for your toy purchaases and you also have to pay for your gas, plus savings.

So my point? Full team sets are NOT affordable for everyone. Even if you save, if they make one release a month, that means they could make one a month, thats more expensive than it is now. Thats not counting if you buy Kamen Rider and other stuff with it. I couldnt do that even all I bought was Sentai SHFs.

So no. They do not need to start full team sets.

My 2 cents: I make a de@ent amount of money in my work and even though I could afford full team sets decently easy I would HATE if they did them. Thats just waaaaay too much with other lines I collect. I also know it would make it nearly impossible for my fellow collectors and I dont want that.



Anywho. Does anyone know how I can tell if I am getting the akibaranger peice when buying Bouken red or SPD Red? I keep checking ebay but they dont say. Also does anyone know any sites with Bouken or SPD Reds at a good price with their AKIBA peice

If its from Mandarake, Amiami or Hobby Entertainment Jungle, it'll have the Akibaranger pieces.

It's from an American seller, its more of a risk.

Hobby Entertainment Jungle currently has Red Hawk and DekaRed with Akiba pieces for less then $20 each.

The Akiba pieces are packed into the boxes, they aren't first run bonuses or anything like that. The BOJ release always includes them with those figures.

On the topic of full teams, while I would welcome it to complete them faster, even I could see where it's too much money. I always prefer multi packs over single releases but full 5 or 6 team packs would run pretty high.

I don't make a decent enough amount of money, so buying a full team isn't an option for me.
Though Geki could be released as a full team and I'd still buy it, because I'm not missing that opportunity.

Gekiranger needs to be made regardless, but the only ones Id buy are Red, Yellow, and Violet. Mainly Violet if any. But tge way they are goin now, Id say release is Red as retail. Blue and Yellow two pack. Then Violet and Chopper two pack. Which is sad because I dont care much for Dominic but I can deal to complete the team. :lol

I'm not thinking a team a month. I'm thinking do a full team quarterly and release the currently airing teams individually.

For example - Q1 of 2015 is AbaRanger, Q2 is GekiRanger, Q3 is KakuRanger and Q4 is Changeman.

They could also just have them be timed full set releases. Do a full box set first, then release them individually a couple of months later. So when the Geki box set comes out, they start releasing the AbaRangers individually.

It's just that their current methods are not working out so well when it comes to team based series like Sentai. Kamen Rider works fine, but I'd rather have an entire ranger team together in one package.

In fact, I hope Bandai will at least test this with the B-Fighter teams. Do both teams as 3 packs and see how they work out.

This I would not mind. At all. And then if Rio and Mele aren't a 2 pack, I will be sad.

And you could just invent an overseas crossover with Gekiranger and JF. RJ paired with Ken.

Yeah....no. That's still a whole lot of money at once. All of my impulse buy power would disappear. Plus I'd be stuck with a crap ton of figures I don't want. I don't think they would sell well for this reason. Not everyone is going to buy all 200+ Sentai figures once they're all made.

That is probably going to be how they get released.

3 packs honestly seems like the more reasonable option than 5 packs. Even released quarterly, not all collectors can afford a 5pack at once. You really gotta remember those who do collect vary. Individually, 2packs, 3packs seem more consumer friendly and will allow Bandai to make more money than releasing things in one go.

I'd only buy RJ and Dom. Maybe Rio.. Because that suit looks amazing. But Rj and Dom are MUST haves.

Probably. I still haven't watched Jungle Fury yet. I can't get over the Solar Morphers.

And I haven't watched RPM yet either. Though I REALLY enjoyed the wackiness of Go-Onger, so RPM would be a difficult one.

The solar morphers never bothered me. The characters were to great. But i do agree we need Jarrod and Camille SHFs.

RPM is great, I couldnt make it through Go-Onger, but I have watched RPM about 3 times.
