Really? I thought the whole sequence was pretty neat. The way he kicks is pretty lame, since he goes from standing to jumping kick without the jumping part in between, which is pretty unfortunate...but really the kicks in Rider for a few series now have mostly been lame like that. I like everything else about this one except for that second he actually does the kick.

Are you suggesting that Drive Type Speed's Tridoron pinball kick is anything less than the most ridiculously hype finisher in years? Fourze's rocket drill space kick and Wizard's giant transforming dragon foot were also pretty hardcore.

Well, fortunately for you if this year is typical you'll likely only see the kick two or three more times.

Well, I haven't seen those series, just basing this off Gaim and Drive really. Drive's first kick was pretty fantastic, but it was used like, once (I did say mostly, not always). Most of the time when they kicked in Drive they just awkwardly started floating and someone used computer effects to drag them across the screen while they held a kicking pose.

Kinda lame.

Gaim wasn't so bad, but mostly because they did way less kicks.

In-series I think he used it three times alone, then one more super special version at the end incorporating the bikes alongside Chase and Mach. The 3 Rider kick against Brain was pretty awesome too, though. I'll agree that there were several other lame kicks throughout, however. But when they were good, they were great.

Godai dies in like episode 15, and Gentaro dies in episode 30 or so. Takeru beat them both. :lol
