I at least want Koichi Sakamoto to Direct the series. Koichi and Space are always a good mix.

I also wouldn't mind some new blood working on it.

Do you accept Dark Red Buster too or just Time Fire and Shinken Red Kaoru? I guess Hyuga/Bull Black is kinda out the picture since he never got to wear what was supposed to be his Ginga Red threads.

I'm worried about the 9-person team. Lately Sentai have been focusing on Red WAY too much, that having 9 Rangers don't mean anything if Red gets the focus all the time.

I'd say those two definitely count. Gingaman was her first series as head so I'd say her style wasn't set in stone yet but the Ryoma/Hyuga has all the trappings of her future "two red rangers" plots. ToQger's a bit of an outlier because there weren't story implications for two red rangers. (and technically it was five in there haha)

Yeah, even Gokaiger had two separate Shinken Red ranger keys.

I've always thought this was the dumbest criticism.

Because Daigo had more screentime than the rest, the show is bad? That just doesn't make sense. Kyoryuger is well paced, it has a lot of compelling characters, a deep mythology, a reverence for Sentai's history, and action that blows any show that's come after it out of the water.

But because Daigo, a totally likeable character performed by a charismatic actor, steals the show everything good about it is irrelevant? Yeah... I've just never understood that argument. :lol

I understand preferring a show that more evenly distributes focus across the whole cast. Personally, as long as the story is well told, I don't care who the show chooses to focus on. There are 39 other shows that chose to focus on allocating time to the whole team. Not all Sentai can, or should, be exactly the same, and Kyoryuger's Daigo-centric approach gives the franchise more variety.

Kyoryuger is not my favorite Sentai, but it's still totally solid. I can only imagine Riku Sanjo's second at-bat in the Sentai head writer's seat would be even better.

Kyoryuger isn't bad because of Daigo.
That doesn't mean it's not a bad show, however.

Let's keep this about KyuRanger, before I have to go defend up the wazoo Kyoryuger. lol

I am curious as to what the gimmick behind the civilian names will be if they plan on it. Always a joy to look for those.
Maybe the first letters of their name in English will spell out ASTROLOGY or something of that nature.
