It sucks that Dante is a Mii outfit. I guess I have to wait for Smash 6 to have Dante vs. Cloud to happen.

If nothing else, I am glad that this deconfirms Lloyd. If any Tales character deserves to be in Smash, it's the one who started it all: Cress.

Sakurai didn't have to hurt us this bad. First with those Mii costumes then making it painfully clear that the next character is the final one.

And, to be honest, after the Byleth reveal for the final character of season 1, I don't have much hope.

I have a feeling the last character will probably be someone from BOTW2 or even E.M.M.I. from Metroid Dread.

Another Zelda rep would be nice. It's odd for such a gigantic franchise, they don't have 8 characters (Something which FE fans argued in support for Byleth's inclusion)

Maybe a Pokemon? If the final DLC is still gonna be released this year, it would tie in nicely with BDSP's release.

I'm at the very least glad we got the costumes over nothing, what that short video leaves out is Sakurai saying all 4 of them were very popular requests so at the very least, there's next time. As for the fighter himself, Kazuya looks fucking goddamm

Kazuya looks crazy, and while I'd like to play as him, I'm afraid that the moment things start going south, I'd end up getting all sorts of misinputs and self sabotaging because of it :lol

A small part of me is still hoping that the final slot is gonna be either Felix or Matthew from Golden Sun, even though I know it won't be true.

I've got a wild card guess that it'll be Tabuu or Master Hand; as it's the last character they'll be making for at least a while probably. I could in fact see this being Sakurai's last time working on Smash; it wouldn't surprise me if he decided to retire or move on to other projects after this and I REALLY wouldn't blame him. So he may wanna go out with a bang

Why is the trailer has it as Smash Bros x Dante? I doubt they are scared of the religious parents because we have two characters in the game that look like the devil.
