Yes! My hunch was right about them pulling a timranger! They'll probably be either human looking androids, or, as you said, robots played by 4 suit and voice actors. Still a fresh concept, and a nice homage to timerangers scenario.

This is truly the wildest set of rumors I've ever heard for an upcoming Sentai show.

To summarize the leaks from the retailer meeting held yesterday...

We're going to have a human white ranger called ZenKaiser, who basically looks like Kamen Rider Mach but with a Dragonranger-esque shield and a cape, as the leader of the team from the start.

All of the others -- who will be colored Red, Blue, Yellow, and Pink -- are going to be robots/androids/mechs of some sort. Their robot forms will have faces based on past mechs (Red = DaiZyuJin, Yellow = GaoKing, Pink = MagiKing, Blue = DaiBouken). It's unclear if they'll have human forms or if they'll always be robots like Beet J. Stag/Washi Pink/Tenbin Gold.

Those robots will grow into mechs that can then combine with each other, KR W-style. Red will become a T-Rex that turns into something resembling DaiZyuJin; Yellow, a Lion that turns into something resembling GaoKing; Pink, a dragon that turns into something resembling MagiKing; and Blue, a dump truck that turns into something resembling DaiBouken.

The Sentai Gears are two-sided. One side represents a full team and its number in the franchise and the other represents that team's Super Gattai. These are loaded into the Geartlingers, akin to Ranger Keys.

So, my take on this is...

I know this verges on fanfic, but what the hell, I’m excited, so I'm gonna make some predictions. I predict ZenKaiser will be the combined spirit of all past colors of Super Sentai — like AkaRed, but for all of Sentai not just the red senshi. I predict ZenKaiser might be as much of a mentor as he is a leader, akin to Big One, and that the "core" Zenkaiger team will be the mechs he takes under his wing. ZenKaiser's goal, then, would be to teach this ragtag team of sentient mechs how to be a Sentai team themselves, without the help of any human/humanoid counterparts, by taking them on a tour of the legacy of Super Sentai and having them earn the respect/powers of past teams. I'm imagining JAKQ + Gokaiger, with shades of Winspector and Zero-One.

So, its literally 5 mecha referencing those main gattai's from those milestone series, with a combination mechanic akin to muteki shogun and Kamen Rider Double. It's storyline incorporates showa elements, such as JAKQ, and the android heroes trope. And the collectibles are like the yokai watch shadow side medals in terms of functionality, with two sides, and a dash of Gokaiger. Wow.
This is really shaping up to be a toyline and show i fully invest in, if its as good as it seems! I haven't been this excited since Gokaiger.:D

I only read the 2 pairs that form minicombos, and I also read that ZenKaiser is a Ranger Name this time around, so what's the fifth mech?

White, he's part of the team, but his mecha isn't highlighted. 4 mecha are listed for the 4 machine rangers. But not him, i believe he is the one who has the "Mach" machine that we've heard about red having. Since its stated red is his own mech and daizyujin/ t-rex themed, then "Mach" must be whites. It was also rumored that these 4 legacy themed mecha would combine with a central mecha, which probably forms the structural integrity of the body that the 4 plug onto. It would make sense that whites machine mach could be bigger than the other 4 to account for this. As well as the fact that he is their leader, probably will get a bigger mech. Rumors have stated the combined mecha is supposedly called ZenkaiOh. Time will tell if all this is true, but damn am i excited just on these supposed tidbits, it sounds refreshing.

Rumors indicate that ZenKaiser is the only one with an "original" mech (i.e., not based on anything from the past) but that it wasn't part of the toy meeting. Signs point to it being a Q2 reveal, so we won't know much about it until January (or possibly even later).

Again, all of this is rumor, so could be wrong.

What about that "Mach" machine that was mentioned earlier? Still in the air? Or was disproven? Is that what zenkaiser probably has? Or could it actually be whites? If "Mach" is the q2 mech, how do you think these 4 machines will form zenkai-oh?

The current thinking is that “Mach” was a reference to Kamen Rider Mach. Apparently ZenKaiser looks a lot like KR Mach. For context, the leaker from last week who referenced Mach, Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing, and Daibouken usually leaks the suit colors — this year, they leaked those mech references, which, after the toy meeting, is panning out as a reference to the human-sized suits.

As for ZenkaiOh, apparently the Red-Yellow gattai is called ZenkaiOh ZyuuraGaorn while Pink and Blue combine to become ZenkaiOh BuruMajeen. ZenKaiser’s mech will probably combine with the other 4 to make... ZenkaiOh? It’s unclear.

Remember, this is all still rumor. Nothing is confirmed.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now it makes much more sense. Lol, i kept confusing white and zenkaiser as 2 seperate characters.

So, based on these leaks, the rangers will probably use dual gattais and a good sum of auxillary mechs to flesh out Q1, and then in Q2, Zenkaisers machine will be revealed, and we will probably get the 5 machine gattai. Make sense. Sort of fresh not to get the full team gattai at the start, and a dual gattai system seems far more plausible now. Since for the 5 machine gattai (they gotta do it, its a staple), whites will probably make up the majority of its structure, so i rescind my previous comment of double-esque gattais not working engineering-wise.

The dual gattai name for blue and pink seems a little uninspired, since red and yellow literally ooze legacy references, while buru majinn is just blues color and pink being after majiking. It would've been nice if it was called bouken majinn. That is to say, if these leaks are legit.

And the suit, aside from the pretty zany mock-up, i think it could definitely work and look quite cool. If only sentai figuarts were still around.....
