Copy-pasting links isn't impossible on the 3DS :p

Oh. |
Neat new look!
I like it. |
i like i already figured it a short sliveed verstion of the main male protagnist from the game jacket
|
I'm convinced that if the Pokemon world was a thing i'd be a girl in it. Seriously the female trainers are the only ones i pick outside of Gen 5 and HGSS where i always pick the male trainers because they look awesome.
|
I am not a fan of the female characters. Too bland or dumb looking.
Or, in May's case, too alive. |

In other words, I seriously did not like May :lol |

It was because she was infallible. I don't recall one occasion where she lost. Her rivals fell to her so often it was hard to believe they were ever on her level. You know the reason why Ash always loses the first time against a Gym leader? Why he always loses at the Pokemon League? It's to show that he still has training to do, room to grow, and opponents to overcome. May, meanwhile, steamrolled through her contests so handily that the attempts to make her more grounded by having her be nervous didn't make sense. When Dawn lost, it was believable because it was made clear that she wasn't going to wreck house and demolish her competition from then on. When May lost, it was because she had gotten cocky and over relied on her Skitty's Assist move, and then she never lost again. I loathed May. And it wasn't for the vapid reason of replacing Misty (Who I also hated). Remember. I hate for all the right reasons. :p |

You know why her Torchic evolved? Because she didn't care about him anymore. She stopped using him altogether because he was an airhead, so she moved to Beautifly and Skitty for battles and contests. So Torchic's jealousy led him to become a Combusken just to earn May's attention again. She was a terrible trainer and an even worse person, constantly taunting Max's worth because he's too young to be a trainer, refusing to listen to advice, and overall being presented as incredibly immature. When Ash was shown as being an immature brat, the show highlighted it and made sure he got his comeuppance. When May was shown being an immature brat, we were supposed to feel sorry for her and side with her opinion, and then she scores the win she didn't deserve, and then she gets praise from the opponent she beat for "Being such an amazing trainer." |

I am catching this thing for my team. |

Honedge has gotten the least amount of backlash from the vocal minority than other Gen 5 and 6 Pokemon, i guess it's just that awesome.
|
I'm not feeling it. I'll wait to see new developments.
|
I saw that earlier. I know I know gen one just made them look like animals they suck as well blahblah but I'm really bored of new Pokémon that just look like stuff they find in their house with eyes stuck on it. What is next Sockpup, the sock puppet pokémon? It has about as much design detail as shit like this, and trubbish and that icecream and whatever else.
Yeah voltorb was just a pokéball with eyes on it too, heard it, but that doesn't mean you can just keep doing it and say 'yeah well gen 1 did it as well'. |

Plus, my Litwick named Incubator serves his purpose with the Ability Flame Body. |

As for Chandelure, it's okay. I don't hate it, but it could be better. |

I loathe Ivy. A fiery passion boils and burns whenever my hatred for her is realized. She should never have come into existence. Ivy is an annoying little excuse for a character, constantly denigrating Ash with the insult of, "You're such a kid," despite the fact that she is incredibly immature herself. Everything about her is annoying: her character, her personality, her voice, everything. |

Kinda surprised by the general support I'm seeing for Honedge. Definitely expected a lot more hate (maybe it'll come in time? :P), since, ya know, it's just a sword and all.
Ah well. I think it's kinda cool. But definitely doesn't make too much sense as a Pokémon. And if I do train one, I'll probably nickname it Soul Edge or Soul Eater.. |
I saw someone elsewhere say it should have been named Hexcalibur, which is pretty genius. If only it wasn't one character over the limit...
|
I'm naming mine Oathkeeper.

And I probably won't use the sword at all. There's nothing to it...It's just a sword. |

Plus, if any of you play Yu-Gi-Oh, please look at the monsters in that series and tell me that there isn't a plethora of stupid looking creatures in that game. Like that tomato? |
Quote:
And besides, the Tomato nets you any Dark attribute monster with 1500 attack or less to the field. With the advent of Synchros, that is like a godsend in terms of ability. In Pokemon, 9 out of 10 Pokemon (In their final stages) are average or lower, and stuff like FEAR only works once (And, on this day, never, since Stealth Rock is such bullshit). Also, please, Gamefreak. For the love of god. Nerf Stealth Rock. Please. |
I'm not sure why but when i play Pokemon Sapphire it still feels new and that was the first game i ever owned.
Playing Pokemon Diamond on the other hand gives me a big nostalgic feeling. My current team in my Sapphire Nuzlocke. Starscream the Skarmory, LV 18. Brooklyn the Machop, LV 19. Yehana the Gulpin, LV 21. Bieber the Loudred, LV 21. Roderick the Roselia, LV 21. Blazing the Combusken, LV 23. Big Boss the Seviper, LV 16. My Taillow died and i got a Numel that died within a few minutes of catching it. Lunatone is awesome! I know what i'm training if they ever decide to remake Gen 3! |
Just hearing Lunatone's name instantly reminded me of this :p

I just love the designs for the grunts and the professor in Gen 6.
http://th04.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/...67-d6czdcw.jpg They feel different but at the same time feels so Pokemon. The professor feels like like something out of Ace Attorney. |
The grunts are "so Pokémon" indeed, but I find them too tacky. Not a fan.
Pancham's evolution looks awesome. Xerneas being Fairy was pretty predictable, was was Yveltol being Dark/Flying (well, the Dark part; was hoping for Dragon). The new squids revealed... Eh. It's really cool that we have proper squids. What doesn't make sense is that they're both Dark/Psychic types. Just... What??? Ha. Cotton candy Pokémon. Haha. Professor battles you at points? That sounds cool. |

Dragon is such a boring type. Anyway, nice to see that the new group isn't sexist and they're forcing the men to also wear an outfit that exposes their midriff. I find that hilarious :p |
I'm thinking of replaying Platinum for the first time since release, i don't know if i should because i still have those secret areas that you can't get anymore without hacking.
|
You could pick up another copy.
Platinum costs $20 on Amazon, and you could probably find a used copy for cheaper at a trade-in store like Gamestop. |
