I watched the first five episodes on Disc 5 and dear lord is the audio horrendous on four of them. They have an echo effect and then the first half of Episode 38's audio keeps dropping out. It's beginning to sound redundant I know, but did Shout! not even bother to quality check these discs?
The episodes themselves have all ranged from good to down right fantastic, so this series deserves better than the bare minimum effort. |

UltraMan Tiga Episode 10: This was an amazing episode for Shinjoh. I really enjoyed learning about his history with his sister and inspiring the child that was being picked on for being afraid. That his story helped the kid save his sister and distract the Kaiju was great and at the end when he talked his friends who were picking on him that it's not okay to pick on someone for making a mistake or being afraid was amazing. I really enjoy seeing the Guts team in action and those early episodes learning about each of the members really does help out making me enjoy everyone here. I love Shinjoh, Horii, Rena, The Captain, and Daigo a lot right now. That I can remember there names is a great help. Daigo was great in this just instinctively becoming Tiga to save Shinjoh and then destroying the monster to save the kids was great. Also, the battle was awesome I love the power form of Tiga, well I love all of Tiga's forms right now. Just a great message and inspiring episode. Can't wait for more.
UltraMan Tiga Episode 11: This was a great episode for Horii seeing his relationship with his friends and how his personality makes him lovable. Also, enjoyed his Monster Tracking technology. Daigo was great understanding Horii's plight and as Tiga just playing defense on the monster till it ran out of energy. It was a fun episode and I can't wait for more. Juspion Episode 10: Another fun episode with the prehistoric piranha here. So Mad Gallant is just so good and being bad with taking the fossil, keeping the scientist captive and threatening his family. Boomerang and Juspion both were awesome and fighting against the MegaBeast Empire. Juspion was also awesome saving the kid from the Truck and his battle in the Daileon was one of the best Giant Robo fights I have seen lately. This has been a great show so far and I can't wait for more. Juspion Episode 11: Well Mad Gallant continues to be a great villain and a great asshole. Taking out Earth's scientist and trying to discredit science was a great plan. Though science saved the day and great on whatever is in Juspion's blaster pistol that could reverse Gamagorath's effects. Juspion's haircut looks much better than the giant afro on him though I got used it and kind of actually liked but he does look better. I also loved Juspion contacting Ejin again and it would great to see him used more. Juspion was on fire kicking ass left and right in the battles here. No Boomerang but that didn't away anything from the episode. I enjoyed Juspion also taking charge to protect the scientists and his quick problem-solving skills too. I can't wait for more. |
I watched the first 3 episodes today to UltraSeven X and uh... so this is actually a thing huh? o_O
Those had to be hands down some of the worst episodes from any Toku series I have ever sat through. The music was down right dreadful and it didn't even feel like they were trying to make it fit with the show. It felt like they just put a video game track on auto loop. The effects, are terrble. The monster in the first episode didn't even look like he was actually there. Did they just green screen him into the city or did they just make cheap looking miniatures? Oh, and then the monster in the third episode gets hit with Seven's Eye Slugger, but instead of being cut up he just explodes? WTF?! The effects in the original show look far more impressive than his lazy piece of putrid. Of course, it doesn't help that the video quality is vile. The characters are not even remotely interesting and the plots are just boring. Do I even need to talk about how fake looking the entire city looks? It's like they repoed their sets from a genetic opera or something. Overall, I have no idea what Tsuburaya was thinking when they crapped this show out, but they were clearly trying to bootleg the success of Garo. Damn, these three episodes made Lion Maru G look golden. |
Bycrosser 10: Another good episode. It was great to see the Bycrossers help a kid change his ways and stop lying. Sylvia was definitely was trying to get away with a lot here and magically did from craftiness lol. I enjoyed the parallels between the kid and Sylvia both with lying how the kid was being honest and managed in turned out in his favor and Sylvia lied and everything failed for her. Ken and Ginjiro were both awesome trying to chase after the Destar member with the jewels and more. The battles were awesome with their tag team moves and special abilities. I can't wait for more.
Bycrosser 11: Well this was a fun episode. Making Gin forget about Ken was a good plan but glad Ginjiro was able to overcome it. Ginjiro gets all the bad stuff happen to him from poisoning, kidnapping, and now memories being forgotten lol. Ken just has to fight alone long enough for Ginjiro to escape or recover lol. Ken is very capable though and fought valiantly till Gin recovered this time. The battle was awesome and the Bycrossers fight great; also I always love when they try to stop Gin from making it to the Gin-Kron and fail lol. Glad the kid felt bad for hurting the Girl he probably liked from the memory loss thing. Doctor Q seriously must be getting more and more pissed each time the Bycrossers defeat him. Well I can't wait for more. |
So I managed to sit through episodes 4-9 of X today and the vast majority of them remained pretty bad, but episodes 8 and 9 were interesting.
I loved the Hitchcock references in episode 8 and the twist was pretty good. I hate that actor though. God do I hate him. He was awful in Kamen Rider Blade. He was terrible in Decade. And he was just as bad here. The Werewolf-like episode was enjoyable too. Oh, and surprisingly, the music in these two episodes was actually tolerable, most of the time. However, I think I figured out some of the issues i have this show. First, it feels like UltraSeven was tacked on. It's like the show was meant to be a drama about people hunting monsters and it got rejected, so they pitched it as an Ultraman show by forcing Seven into it. He's barely even in the show and there hasn't been a single lick of development for him. It also doesn't help that they haven't done jackshit to develop any of the characters at all, even Jin. Everything is so cheap looking. There's only been I believe one actual giant sized battle in these six episodes and it looked so fake. It didn't even look like they were actually fighting in the city at all. How is it that the city battles looked so much superior in the original show? Lastly, for a 12 episode story, they sure as hell haven't done anything to resemble a plot. It's just been filler episodes and that is it. |
UltraMan Tiga Episode 12: This was a fun episode for Rena and Daigo. Loved the Dolphins in it they were so adorable. I have never seen an UltraMan so frustrated at a monster like Tiga was with this trolling fish monster. Seems like Daigo might have feelings for Rena seeing how he reacted at the end. It was a fun battle. I enjoyed this episode a lot.

Special Megabeast Investigator Juspion Episode 12: Damn Juspion kicked this show into overdrive this episode. Starting off with the intense battle between Satan Gorth and Eijin which was like Giant Darth Vader vs Space Gandalf, lol. It was totally amazing to see that. Also, great to see that Eijin discovered more of the prophecy or space bible that lead to more of Satan Gorth's weakness.
The Princess was intriguing with her powers in the beginning and guiding Juspion to her but made more sense later in the episode that she was an alien messenger waiting for him. I loved how intense Juspion got after she was killed by Mad Gallant and that it seemed only to empower him. Also, he was just on fire and kicking ass today. No monster of the week was great just getting a fight with both Mad Gallant and Satan Gorth was amazing. Especially, Juspion using a fake Golden Egg and using mental manipulation on Satan Gorth. Juspion is just clever and awesome. I felt bad for Boomerang leaving but I'm glad he's going to train and I hope to see him again later. The next episode seems really exciting and I can't wait for it. |

Kyoudai Ken Bycrosser Episode 12: This was a fun episode. It was hilarious seeing Ginjiro and Ken running away from the possessed girls chasing after them. Destar comes up with some unique plans I have to say. Though, Doctor Q seems like he's going to burst of anger each time Bycrosser destroys one of his diamonds. Nice to see Sylvia actually get more useful here too. The battles were awesome and one of the biggest highlights but I have to say that Ginjiro and Ken's personalities really make this show. They are so much fun and extremely heroic. Also, I love their fun interactions with Akemi as well. I can't wait for more.
UltraMan Tiga Episode 13: Enjoyed this episode. So far the Shinjoh focus episodes have been fantastic. His cousin finding the Crow Men was good to see he wants to be in GUTS and that it lead to them finding Human Slavers. I loved the GUTS Team working together and kicking the Crow Men's butt. Though UltraMan Tiga fighting normal sized was great to watch especially with his glowing eyes and color timer. Great teamwork and great action. Juspion Episode 13: This was great in aspects of continuing the story, action, and well heart. I loved Juspion battling the Megabeast made from the kids manga and defeating it in the beginning with Music. The kid meeting his hero was a lot of fun and also lead to a great moment with Juspion de-powering himself to save him. The four new generals seem fun though it looked like Juspion was kicking the crap out of all of them at the same time. When he repowered himself he got the kid back pretty easily. Also the battle with the MegaBeast again was awesome; DaiLeon is amazing and this show has some great Giant Robot fights. I can't wait for more. Bycrosser Episode 13: Finally something bad happens to Ken lol. That he got blinded and learned how to fight blind was great. I loved the training between the brothers to help Ken be able to fight against his opponents. It was both good to see Ken's determination and Ginjiro's compassion to help the misbehaving kid learn that he has been paranoid and not that they were picking on him. The battle was great with Gin helping Ken attack the enemy. Though the recycled footage really didn't mesh well with some of the background but hey in was the era that they used Recycled Footage so I don't hold it against them. I can't wait for more. |
I need help
Hey guys,
I need help finding a store to buy these toys from. It's based on the recent show called Satria Garuda Bima-X. I've looked everywhere I know online: Nobody's selling them. But people are still managing to review and get them. So I'm not sure where to get them. Any suggestions- please? Thanks. |
I watched the first 4 episodes to Ultraman Leo today and they were pretty good. The direction seems completely different from Ultra Seven and the original show, which I guess makes sense, but I was kind of hoping for it to at least feel the same given it is from the same era. Right now I'm not sure how I feel about Gen as he seems to be just a hotheaded mess that wants instant gratification. I'm also not a fan of how they turned Dan into a total jackass. Something just feels off and why is he working for Space Patrol instead of Ultra Garrison? In fact, where is UG anyway?
The fight scenes are kind of cool and I liked that each story was a two parter. Although, Leo doesn't seem to have any really good specialty moves to call his own like how Ultraman has the Specium Beam and Seven has the Ultra Slugger. There are a lot of characters in this show that have already been introduced, so I'm hoping that means there are enough plots to develop each one of them without things getting stale. Oh, and can I say that holy shit the poor father getting cut in half was completely unexpected? DAMN! So far I like what I have seen, even if it isn't perfect. Looking forward to watching more. |
Alright now using my CarRanger format for my other series should help me speed through them more.
Bycrosser 14-16: Episode 14: This added Doctor Q's granddaughter Rita who is an intriguing addition to the villain team. Also it was interesting to see the Mizuno brothers and the others with the Gora statue. Though this episode definitely felt like the end of the first part because of the end of the Gora statue. Great to see the Bycrossers using more of their powers and to see Gora possess Akemi was something else. Episode 15: Now this is the beginning of the new villain joining Doctor Q of Gorazongar, who comes from the same place that the Gora Statue does. He's a more commanding villain and well overall better than the statue. Also, the help of inspiring Doctor Q to try and conquer the world is good too. The production values definitely have upgraded in some scenes with them transforming differently and adding new special attacks for the Bycrossers. Also that they decided to try and defeat the Bycrosser rather than scare kids was a great plan too. Though the Magic Sword could have lead to something more but still I loved the Bycrossers combing the powers of their weapons to destroy the Destar Robo. Episode 16: Ah more of the rivalry of Sylvia and Rita which has been a lot of fun lately. Both of them fighting for who is the higher general is great. Brings out a lot of competition between them. Though both of their guns was something else. I Enjoyed the Bycrossers battling a lot this episode it was awesome. Love their team attacks. I feel overall with the new insert songs, production values, battle techniques, and villains Bycrosser has upgraded itself as a show. I am enjoying it a lot more and I think it is more fun that the brothers' Mom was written out of the show too. I can't wait for more. Browser Episode 17: Well, I can't believe Mettaton from Undertale first appeared here. Lol Cooklar totally reminds me of Mettaton probably the crazy chef monitor face. This was a good plan for Destar, they are competent villains well with their plans. Doctor Q I enjoy because he cares for his granddaughter and wanted to save her over destroying the Bycrossers, it's nice to see that kind of compassion from a villain. I also enjoyed the Bycrossers resilience being drained of their strength, but still fighting their hearts out it was great. This was a fun episode. I can't wait for more. Bycrosser Episode 18: I think Doctor Q needs to interfere with Rita and Sylvia's feud lol. It's fun, but honestly, I think it is costing Destar in the long run. We'll see how this continues. The Bycrossers were awesome and Akemi was crazy lol. I continue to love their special attacks and showing how they do them. Those are a nice addition to the show. I enjoy Ken and Ginjiro though we haven't gotten a lot with them. I still can't wait for more. Browser Episodes 19-21: Episode 19: Rita's exploding Backpack plan. To be honest I forgot I watched this episode lol. The MotW What awesome looking but this was the normal Doctor Q's plan fails and the Bycrossers save the day. Though the kids were in legitimate danger this time around and thankfully Ken's smarts saved them from an explosive end. Also, Doctor Q's lesson about how Failure teaches Success was also a good message too. It was ridiculous fun like Bycrosser normally is. Episode 20: Ah the doppleganger episode, this was one of the better plans that like most of them have been lately failed because of Sylvia and Rita's feud. Both of them aren't helping themselves honestly. They both screw each other up to show the other one up, but just end up helping the Bycrossers. Anyways, this caused a lot of chaos and a lot of fun. Mainly Ken gets hit in the head with a frying pan lol. Great action and a new technique. Great use of their telepathy, though to help know which is the real Ken. Episode 21: The biggest failure of the bumbling bimbos definitely was this episode. Rita gets sick of being bossed around by Sylvia right when Kaminarion (MotW) was going to destroy the Bycrossers. Rita basically gets out of the plane, causing Kaminarion to focus on saving her and letting the Bycrossers get away safely. Lol, basically this show is what not to do as a Supervillain. I don't really want to get into the whole Navel stealing plot that was definitely one of the weirdest things I've seen in Toku but if they can help you gather lightning go right ahead. I love how they build the randomest things to help them beat the enemies, like a giant battery though I did love how it lit up the Cross Blade. This show is just basically ridiculousness vs ridiculuousness and it's just amazing honestly. I can't wait for more. |
I watched episodes 9-11 tonight of Leo and I have to say that episode 9 was really really good. What is weird is that it featured a child friendly monster that Leo just goes right out and attacks because he and Dan are dicks in this show, but the episode itself was really well shot. It had that strange and unique vibe that Ultra Seven gave me.
Too bad it didn't last though as episode 10 was right back to Dan screaming at Leo for having a heart. The next one wasn't bad, but it seemed like it was trying to play off of shock value by killing a kid's aunt and uncle more than anything else. The fights were cool though, as was the alien. |
Bycrosser Episode 22: One of the best episodes of the series. Showcasing the hearts of both Ken and Ginjiro. Ginjiro losing his powers and still fighting was amazing, he distracted the MotW enough to allow Ken to help destroy the thing stopping Gin from having his powers. Ken wants to fight even if he'd be outnumbered or handicapped without Ginjiro just shows how brave he really is. This really was great for the both of them and I just love that I can actually just talk about them for once. Also, it was fun to see Destar celebrate. I can't wait for more.
|
Bycrosser 23: The Bycrossers defeat another of Destar's monster and plans! Rinse, repeat here just with killer plants this time around. Though Sylvia and Rita's rivalry seems to have calmed down here; which is good. Ken and Ginjiro continue to be their awesome and fun selves. I enjoy them doing the scientific research to combat the threat. Also, the action is great and the new combination moves are fun. On to the next episode!
|
Watched the first four episodes of Ultra Q over the last few days and really like it so far. Episodic plots means there isn't much in the way of character development (although I like that the journalists are recurring characters) but the stories work really well as self-contained pieces and it nails the Twilight Zone style set up perfectly. The only thing I'm hoping for are some dark endings, because that's one of my favourite things about the Twilight Zone. Episode 3 was a step in the right direction, but so far they've mostly been resolved rather neatly.
|
Bycrosser Episode 24: This was solid for Ginjiro who went to great lengths to hide the Bycrosser secret from the enemies. Which makes a lot of sense because I can see Destar actually go after them, I don't understand why some Power Rangers villains never did though. Ginjiro taking that beating and fighting back without showing himself showed immense courage and was great for him. Ken and Gin kicked ass and used another awesome technique together. It was another enjoyable episode and hopefully some progression with Rita and Sylvia working together too.
Bycrosser Episode 25: Once again Rita and Sylvia's stupidity help save the day for the Bycrossers! Man, it's like Bulk and Skull were generals for Rita and couldn't do anything right. They need to get past their rivalry because they are both solid generals, but their envy turns them into catty idiots. The old turning kids into minions episodes, that was stopped by what I was mentioning earlier. I enjoy the Bycrossers detective work and then creative combat. This is basically like the old Batman show, which is kind of awesome. I continue to enjoy this and can't wait for more. Bycrosser Episode 26: This was a great episode. I enjoyed Doctor Q actually getting involved because Sylvia and Rita are more useless than successful. Though it was nice to see that Destar is having financial trouble and to build all these Robots that don't work I can imagine not being cheap. It was just great having the episode be more focused on getting to the plan rather than random weird attack the humans plot. Enjoyed the Bycrossers having a bit of a struggle in the battle because of the Magnet enemy taking their weapons away from them, but their nice strategy they defeated it. That was fun seeing the treasure turn out to be nothing at the end too. I can't wait for more. |
I watched the first two episodes to Winspector. They were certainly different than I was expecting.
|
I watched 10 episodes of Spiderman! It's certainly something! So far I'm enjoying it and I'm not sure why
|
Bycrosser Episode 27: Very good episode for Doctor Q. To see his human side and how he was helping Yuki with his flying machine. Also, that being a father figure helped her to walk. I felt really bad that he regained his memories and became Doctor Q again. The Bycrossers kicked butt like normal and it was a great fight too.
Bycrosser Episode 28: I enjoyed what I saw of this episode. I thought it was going to be the same generic Destar possesses people to attack Bycrossers episode. It turned out to be really different. It was great to see Ken and Ginjiro figure out what was going on and then taking down the monster. I continue towards the end here. I can't wait for more. |
Quote:
I've only seen episodes raw and I really couldn't watch more than a couple due to how formulaic the show is. I know that may sound weird for Toku, but I felt like there was not a single difference between any episode other than the design and name of the villain that week. |

They've long since taken it off their site, but the files are still floating around the internet. |

I just watched episodes 3-6 and I'm still not feeling this show. I don't hate it or anything, I'm entertained, it has the Sugimura feel, but nothing has truly blown me away thus far. Although, I really don't care for the original Buddyroids. Do they ever acquire any personalities in this thing or are they just as one dimensional later on as they are now? Also, I know I'm only 6 episodes in, but I do hope it starts to have some sort of plot development in the next few episodes or at least a central syndicate or something. I'm already feeling a little fatigued from the episodes just being some random criminal nobodies that don't even have super strength or anything. It feels unneccessary to have robots AND a super suit when there isn't anything special about these episodic villains.
To be fair though, it could also be that I'm just not used to a Toku show like this yet. |
Bycrosser Episode 29: It was a fun episode. I once again enjoyed the battles between the Bycrossers and the Monsters of the Week. This time they were Robot Brothers. It was honestly a good plan but they weren't perfect and were too competitive leading to the Bycrossers easily defeating them. The special move was fun too. Though the funniest part is realizing that the Bycrossers' henshin device is their closet lol. Well, I am down to the last 5 episodes, can't wait.
Bycrosser Episode 30: This has to be my favorite episode of Bycrosser so far. It just went into depth with Ken and Ginjiro's characters. Ken is someone who wanted to believe in the good in the villain girl, and thinks more with his heart. Ginjiro is someone who is logical and cautious believing that the girl is bringing them into a trap. Seeing that they have a bit more character like that was great to see, so they have a little more depth than generic super heroes. Doctor Q's plan was actually really good and only didn't work because of the durability of the Bycrossers. It was an emotional episode with great writing and action scenes. I can't wait for more. |
I just finished episodes 7-10 of Winspector. The first two were all right, but episode 9 was really great. Probably the best episode thus far. I liked that they actually developed the bomber and made him seem bigger than he was. Not to mention we got some backstory for the sister (whose name I can't remember despite just watching the show). Then all of that was followed by what is probably the worst episode of the series thus far. It dealt with a group of kids playing cop, so I think that is all I need to say. UGH!
|
Bycrosser 31: I'm glad I decided not to skip this episode, it was a lot of fun. The whole Sylvia tries to marry Ginjiro was hilarious with all the chasing. Also, I love the depth that both Ginjiro and Ken were going to, to hide Ginjiro's identity from Destar. I mean, that was a helluva plan that Ken just shoots Ginjiro who acts dead is one way to do it lol. This was followed by a great battle and more fun between Ginjiro, Ken, Akemi, and the Kids. I can't wait for more.
Bycrosser 32: I see they woke up in the writers' room for these last few episodes; because dear God did these episodes get waaaaaayyyy better. I mean yes I have enjoyed the whole series even with the episodic nature of the whole thing, but these episodes finally get more into the depths of Ken and Ginjiro, which I have been waiting for the whole time! Seeing Ginjiro being hurt by the Metal Ring and the pain Ken was in that he couldn't do anything for his brother was amazing to see more of their bond. Also, that Ginjiro didn't want Ken to see him like this was also great to see more character out of both of them. Ring-Goku was a great monster that took the initiative to defeat the Bycrossers and actually came up with the plan, he's probably my favorite monster from the series so far. Also, Gin has so much fucking determination, strength, and courage because he's been freakin' poisoned, captured, stuck in a whack-a-mole torture chamber, mentally attack by a metal ring, and so much other crap done to him that he just keeps going with a smile shows so much from him. Well, I am down to the final 2 episodes and I just don't want it to end. Though, I can't wait for more. |
Now watching: The Chouseishin Series...Gransazer to be specific. 'm watching it because I need to write a fanfic with Fourze.
Reasons to watch: 1. The girls 2. The constellation motif (But Kyuranger does its take way better) 3. Meh... |
Bycrosser Finale (Episodes 33 and 34): This was an awesome series finale. Just the effort, courage, and determination that Ken and Ginjiro had on these episodes was impressive. These two are real heroes and this really showed that a lot. I love how they broke into Destar's base and destroyed it instead of the heroes losing their base. Doctor Q put up a fight and Gorazongar was very crafty and had a interesting back story as a Planet Killer. Also, going after Akemi was a huge dick move. I loved Ken's detective work and Ginjiro's fortitude to get through being tortured again. I'm glad it looked like Ken and Akemi got together at the end, which was more than anything with Eiji and Hina in OOO. This was a great end to a great series.
I now jump back to Juspion since I finished Bycrosser. Juspion Episode 14: This was a fun episode. Juspion, kicked ass and saved lives like normal. Though his spirit and determination at the end against the Ocean King was amazing. Also, his strategy was great too. Enjoying his battle against Satan Gorth, and can't wait to see more. |
I just watched episodes 11-16 of Winspector. There were some really good episodes there, especially a two parter that featured the actor from Godzilla vs Biollante as the crime boss (named Reaper Moss).
Then it was followed by the generic and overdone main character gets hit so hard he loses his memory until it is conveniently returned at the right time when everything is on the line at the end of the episode. UGH!! I hate these stupid amnesia episodes because they are all the same. The worst part is, this was the perfect opportunity to actually develop Ryoma and give us some backstory as to why he was chosen to be Fire and they squandered it. Even the next episode, which figured a girl who had a crush on Walter, was no where near as bad as that one. |
Finished 25 episodes of Spiderman in total. This show is stupid, though I still get a cheer whenever I hear MAAAAAAAAABERAAAAAAAAAAAAA! even if the mech fights are almost all the exact same with Leopardon using Arc Turn and Sword Vigour
|
They are the exact same fight scene. Because according to rumors from a while ago, the giant robot suit got stolen, again rumor, so they couldn't film new Lepardon footage so they just reused the finishing move over and over.

Then again, what's the excuse for the lackluster final battle in Battle Fever J? I mean, the big baddie just sits there, gets stabbed, falls over and blows up. He didn't even fight back. WTF? |
Watched another batch of Winspector episodes today (17-22). They were good, especially an episode that actually develoed Junko a bit. On the other hand, there was an episode where Royma's actor looked like he was falling asleep while filming, which makes it hard to root for him when he looks like he isn't putting his all into the show.
With that said, do we get any more alien creatures like the living Gak? I'm getting a little tired of the villains just being normal criminals. It seems excessive that they need two robots and an armored suit to handle regular dudes. I get it when they are up against a cyborg or needing to rescue someone in a burning box, but for something as simple as stopping a guy with hostages? o_O Well whatever. I'll have to wait until next week to watch another batch of them. EDIT: I managed to squeeze in 3 more episodes so I could end at the halfway point of the show. They were good, but again, excessive. I liked the episode with the killer plants. The only thing I was disappointed with was not having the plant sing "Feed Me." The sniper one was also enjoyable while the one with Bikel falling in love was kind of creepy. |
Juspion 15: Intense episode of Juspion. Glad to see them moving forward with the Mystery of the Golden bird and that the story is ongoing here. Also, nice to see Juspion take out one of the four new generals in some awesome action this episode. Love how Juspion can switch from fun and lovable to serious warrior pretty easily. I can't wait for more.
Juspion 16: Finally we have a continuing plot which is awesome. Seeing more of the MegaBeast Empire's end goal was nice, as well as the kids trying to find their father too. The father searching for Golden Bird was something I wasn't expecting this to turn into. I also, enjoyed them going into how much weight Juspion is carrying with this war against the MegaBeast Empire he's in right now. The action scenes were amazing once again especially with Juspion stealing an enemy's sword and using against them when he isn't transformed. He is just one tough hero and it's amazing to see this battle continue. I can't wait for more. |
It feels like it has been forever since I watched an episode of Winspector even though it has been just over a week.
Anyway, I watched 26-28 tonight and they were all solid episodes. It was nice to see Ryoma's sister get development (although, she has been given far more development than he has at this point) and the episode that dealt with a girl wanting revenge for her father's murder was nice. However, the star of this batch hands down goes to a crazy episode about a lady withh psychi abilities and is backed by dudes that look like members of the KKK. That episode was friggin awesome. Not to mention it was one of those times where Ryoma putting on the armor was actually warranted. EDIT: I decided to take a break from playing Horizon today and watched episodes 29-38. Outside of maybe one episode, they were all pretty solid episodes. My favorites included one that dealt with Youkai, one that featued a dude who was put into cryo sleep for 9 years, and then a two parter with a scientist who went crazy. Oh, and the episode with Bikel's creator was great too. The only episode I'd say I didn't care for dealt with a child who saw a hit and run and then his shameful mother refused to let him tell the police about it. I do wish they had let the crazed scientist guy get a few more episodes before they put him away though. Oh, and the first parter that had Not Robocop (his name was freaking Robot Cop Brian) was hilarious at the digs they were making towards America's paranoia for massive security. Lastly, I found it quite amuzing that there was an episode with these Amazon ladies who hid themselves in coffee beans. I know people are obsessed with coffee, but that is excessive. :-p |
