Considering this would be my first model kit, I might not go too crazy with it... Just a heads up.

Well the group build is up.

The date I put seems like a fair enough time frame, but of course it's all subject to change.

That's still fine,this is the first build,so it's ok.I'm gonna be taking mine with my cell phone if I cant get my camera to work.:P

So I picked up a set of After market hands today that I think people here might be interested in.

They're called Mechanical Hands EX from Hobby Base, basically they're Perfect Grade style articulated hands that come in both 1/100 and 1/144 size.

I think I need to get the Wing Zero to go with him. I don't think I am going to get too enbroiled in the line, but it seems almost wrong having just this suit.

I've gotten most of the Wing figures but Epyon/Wing Zero are two I haven't bought yet. By all accounts they are amazing and I'll probably get both if they never give us the normal Wing Gundam.

Oh man, you guys couldn't have settled on a RG theme? I have 3 or 4 of those on the way. :lol

Guess I'm going to have to go buy another kit, since I just finished the only other HG I had on hand.

I think it turned out pretty great. I think it's a swell design, and I wish there was a Robot Damashii of it, that I could play with more. These kits are really for lots of posing around are they?

The Hi-Nu is a solid design, shame it's actually shorter than the regular Nu. I keep mine on the flight stand. Between the wings and that added articulation to the neck, it just screams "flying through space"

I don't think that there are enough RGs to have a lot of variety.

I agree.I say go through HG,NG,MG first,let more RG's come out cause I sure as heck plan on getting the GP-01 RG when it comes out.

I really want to try out a clear kit, so I'm thinking either clear Banshee Destroy mode, or clear Destiny.

MG AGE 2 Double Bullet is out now.

Looks like it's compatible with the AGE 2 Normal parts, and it looks pretty nifty with the two together.

I'm typically not a fan of SDs, but I really like how the new Ryubi Strike Gundam looks.

Finally got around to buying a Robot Damashii. Went with Sandrock because it was on my list and cheap. I like it. It's like a SRC, but without diecast (That's good in my book).

It looks like I'm putting my re-watch of Wing on hold to finally finish Seed Destiny. Over the last few days I've been re-watching the volumes I already have (through episode 22) and tonight I'll get into episodes I haven't seen.

PS I won't be joining the Group Build unless we count Mechanical Chain Bases. That's as close to a model I'll get.

Sandrock was my first RD figure too. Only thing that keeps them from being perfect is no panel lining but I won't complain. What's that background you have him standing in front of?

Does anyone else find the elbow joints on the HGUC Unicorns (all of them) extremely frustrating? I wish there was some replacement joint that didn't split that could just be plugged in instead.

While panel lining would've been welcome, I've survived this long without panel lining so I'm good. I don't like that Sandrock has no way to store the uzi, but that's okay because these figures always have extra parts.

That's the thing…the guy that made that did customize it. He made it using the SD Ryubi Strike as a base:lol

It's quite nice for an older kit. Good job.

That era of Master Grades is by far my favorite. The ZZ, The A1, C1, Re-GZ. All of them have been fantastic, it seems kits from that time period are just much more solid. Whereas newer MG's I've built like the Delta Plus leave a lot to be desired.

While the "perfect transformation" gimmick and full inner frame is nice, the stability offered by the somewhat "simpler" engineering can't be beat. I regret the day my ZZ took its fatal fall. I'll have to replace it someday, maybe if we get to a MG group build.

I just can't stand something that can't at least transform without the aid of additional parts. Another big reason why the Delta Plus is such a disappointment.

Yeah, it does feel like there should have been a way to attach it to his lower back but as you said they always have extra stuff that sits in the box when not in use anyway.
