It's nice to get pics of them, as well as some other shots of the suits in action, but haven't we known about these monsters since the press conference? Either way, I'm not too sure how I feel about the monster designs, they're kinda bland looking from those pictures. Then again, from the plot they don't seem like the focus of the series anyway.

Also, I will say that it's wrong to immediately assume it will be a good series, I mean yes, the plot does sound awesome in a crazy and ridiculous way, but we also assumed that Wizard would be awesome because the suit design was so great, and that didn't turn out near as good as what we expected.

I'm assuming it will be a good series based on what I've seen.If I'm wrong,then I'm wrong.Only person I'm disappointing is myself.I think it'll be a good series,but not perfect.I know it'll have it flaws.Every series does.You have to have a neutral thought on it.You cant be too positive or too negative.The suits to me look amazing,the henshin is over the top,but makes sense.The fruit design is different,which is nice.I wanted a change of pace.The street dancing,it all depends on how they use it.If they use it just to show them having fun,then fine.But if they start overusing it,then meh.And like I said about the smaller monsters,every series that comes after decade has at least one of them.I think it's a cool twist on where these came from.

As for the monsters,yeah we knew what they were called.I posted that because it mentions the smaller versions and why the bigger ones show up.The reason I like that so much is because unlike some of the series before it,it explains where the little helpers come from.

OOO does a good job of it too.Fourze is ok with the Foodroids,just not as solid as OOO,and Wizard's makes sense in the fact their crystal,that's it.The reason I dont like Wizards little minions is because its more of a toy selling gimmick then a storyline.

We won't know if it's good until its a few episodes in. These shows kind of live or die by how they handle the doldrums between major plot points.

It really isn't "a thing" just one person saying it over and over.

Yeah I always find that if you don't like a show within the first few episodes, you probably aren't going to change your mind later on - or even want to change your mind but if you ARE enjoying a show during the first few episodes, don't invest too much into the show because Toku has a real tendency to drop the ball.

Well it's true, if the core heroes and universe has been established (usually in the first five to ten episodes) and you aren't feeling it, it's unlikely you're going to change your mind after that point. And if someone tells you that it gets good in fifteen more episodes, I know I certainly wouldn't care to watch fifteen more episodes of a series I'm not enjoying to get to a 'good' bit that I have no guarantee I would like.

I mean I did that with OOO, and I'm glad I did, but that was because OOO had cool action scenes and a great main Rider to push me through those first crappy twenty or so episodes. There are many, many other series that didn't even offer me that much and there was no way I was sticking around, even with protests that I was missing out.

Except that wasn't the point I was making. It was the bit that even if you like the first episodes, it will be shit because that's what Toku does. That the kind of piss-poor attitude that makes my eyes roll everytime I see it on message boards.

I'm not finding the fruit theming to be as zany or interesting as many others are.

It has nothing to do with what I think of the series, it's that he basically said "If you like a show, don't, because it will probably suck later."

I wasn't forcing my opinion, or even discussing it. What I thought never came up.

I think it's cool because it makes for neat designs, but I'm not, like, crazy for it. I kind of like how the Pinapple armour looks like spiked metal shields. They're being pretty creative about it.

Sorry Aniki, it's just not nice having someone take your post the wrong way and twisting it to make you look bad. Over simplifying and generalising my point doesn't change the uncertainty in my post, I've just had a lot of experiences with series I initially loved turning to crap at the end. Dino Thunder, Fourze and Kyoryuger all spring to mind.

But in terms of the series, I am pretty excited for it to be fair, I just hope it is more focused than Kyoryuer with better villains.

It does lead to some interesting designs, true, but the Pineapple armor is the only one that I find myself swooning over. I'm not a big fan of the Orange armor.

I guess while I do think the suits we've seen are interesting, the concept itself I don't find myself in love with.

Man I love Gaimu's base form, Orange is my favourite colour and Orange and Blue look gorgeous together. Still I think Ryugen is my favourite, the suit is busy as all hell but I really love the design (and grapes are my favourite fruits). I don't really care about anyone else, I mean Zangetsu isn't as ugly as Banana Lance and the carriage wheel dude, but it's like they ran out of creative steam with him.

It's the concept that is putting me off, from the way the information is coming across, there is like 8 Rider shows here smashed all into the same show. It may work and I hope it does but it's gonna take some damn focused writing. It doesn't help that a lot of those ideas don't really appeal to me like Fruit Lock Samurai's with Pokémon who breakdance in their free time.

I find it neither,but it's different.The reason I'm looking forward to the series most of all is a few reasons.

1.Will he act like a samurai when he is henshined? If so,then I'll like the series,good or bad.
2.What the different armor locks look like.
3.How many riders will there be exactly (It's been established that there are teams that battle each other,but just how many other teams are out there?)
And last but not least,what exactly is the story.It's very vague at this point,but I'm a sucker for weak fighting strong (if it's pulled off right)

As far as the concept so far,we know there will be fruit,street dancing,and little monsters involved.To what extent they're involved is the important part.If they flood the series with it,then yeah its gonna be bad.(The street dancing I mean.The fruit I think will just be involved in the rider suits,and the monsters will have a part probably as big as the Foodroids or Crystal monsters from Wizard had.)

I was never big into samurai, so I guess that's why one of it's themes really hasn't grabbed me. Yeah, samurai are cool and all, but it's just never been one of my favorite things from Japan.

Adding that I find the fruit angle more head scratching than interesting, and I'm just left going "...Huh. That's interesting" to 90% of the info we get.

As far as the Fruit concept goes, when we first got the rumors, I wasn't put off by it, but I also wasn't going, oh man this is the best idea ever, but I definitely expected, I mean Rider's always had wierd and silly concepts. Like, Fourze's about a high school student who uses the power of friendship and space to turn into a dude with a Rocket for a head and fights other students turned into monsters, pretty crazy, right? But personally I thought Fourze was a great series, although I know the opinions of the show here are pretty mixed. However, most Rider shows, sound just as ridiculous as Fruit Samurai Warring States Period with Street Dancing Pokemon Trainer Gang Wars and an evil organization, and most of them do turn out pretty ridiculous in execution, too. My point is I don't think people should be immediately dismissing or praising the show based on how ridiculous the plot or theme for the show is.

There will be extra seeds (movie exclusive, new Rider next year, etc.).

Fourze had 40+ switches and it has a grand total of 3 Riders including movie exclusives. While I'm sure we'll have a couple of more Riders in Gaimu at some point (I pray they aren't pointless like the Hoppers), the number of Lock Seeds guarantees nothing.

You and me both, But if they look as good as the Hoppers then that's alright.

That was alot of Kabuto's problems, really. Awesome looking Riders that existed for no reason.
