Also, I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kno3xDw27bY |
Am I the only one that is sick of all the Green lantern crossovers?
Now GL and GLC are crossing over again and I bet they will have the next crossover not long after that one. GL was always one of my favorite characters but it really sucks to not be able to read Hals adventures without buying a bunch of other books. |

Of course, other people think I'm younger than I actually am, but that's only the Class of 2017. :lol |

Geoff Johns has had his faults and still continues to, but any suggestion that he wasn't the one thing that made the GL title what it was, just simply isn't true. Crossovers or not his work on that title catapulted the laterns books into existence. They literally would not still be here if not for him, and they're all on their last legs without him right now. Sales numbers are WAY down. |

Dude I never said anything you mentioned in your post. My problem with the GL books is the constant crossovers not that the book is bad. I didnt question Geoff Johns involvement in GL becoming popular for one minute nor that without him the book would have become popular regardless. The thing I said and I say it again is that I cant read GL on its own anymore without constantly reading Green lantern Corps or any of the other GL titles and that was something I was already annoyed with when Johns wrote the damn thing. So I dont see why you feel the need to come at me like this when I never questioned anything Johns did for the book. |
Well my apologies then, but the way you worded it, "part of the problem", you kind of make it seem like there's some big issue with his writing on Green Lantern. Or his handling of crossovers at least. And I just don't feel there was either.

What I meant with that was that he started doing this gigantic crossovers and those continued when the new writer took over. I know that Geoff Johns run on GL is brilliant and will always continue to be brilliant. GL Rebirth is one of my favorite comics of all time and got me into Green Lantern :lol Its just a personal thing of mine that I dont like crossovers between books. The only crossovers are like are things like AVX were you have the main book and then a bunch of tie-ins (as long as those tie-ins arent vital to the story). I just get annoyed when books cross over and I have to pick up books I usually dont pick up. |
BTW, I never once read a Green Lantern title outside of GL and had no problem following the stories, even Blackest Night. In fact, the only BN paperbacks I have bought were really the ones dealing withe Black Lanterns as I wanted to get to see more of them on page, not because I was confused on the story. In fact, if there is one think I must commend Geoff for is that both Blackest Night and Flashpoint were easily to follow without reading all of the other stories. I loved the Flashpoint universe so much though that I went out and bought the others.

I have to get that Deathstroke.

That Slade... Want! :D
|
I want ALL of them. The Arrow/Deathstroke 2-pack that came out already was magnificent. And these look even better.
|
I'd be totally okay with a Flash. :lol
Anyway, I just read the fourth trade of Batgirl. It was disturbing. I liked it, but it was disturbing. I'll say this, though—after that, the change in tone starting with Issue 35 is going to take a bit of getting used to. Still, I look forward to it. |
For some reason I thought that was near naked Arrow with Face Hugger.

Is the rumor true that WB teased another season on Young Justice?

It was a false hope. Greg Weisman said YJ is not coming back.

There Is Already Tons Of Amazing Fan Art Featuring Batgirl's New Costume - io9
It's really starting to grow on me, that costume. Also, this: http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/...qwdfavsgpx.jpg And this, too; http://www.ronchan.net/wordpress/wp-...spidergwen.jpg |
So... I just finished reading Green Lantern: Lights Out.
It was... kind of terrible. It had some good ideas, but I felt the story was a bit disjointed, and the characterization was poorly done. I'm not the only one who thinks this, right? |

If we do get another superhero cartoon the tone should be around the DCAU's instead of being Frank Miller Lite. Don't get me wrong I'm not sad nor happy about YJ being gone for good. I just think DC and Time Warner can do better than this if they at least tried. |
Young Justice was great because it and Thundercats were the most mature cartoons airing at the time. Everything else was kid crap. Plus, YJ had great character development and featured characters we don't see all that often.

And Laurel to become Black Canary. And for Starfinger to be the villain-of-the-week in an episode that boosts his popularity. |
