Anyone know if Torin will be in the show yet? I will be letdown if they cut him out since he fits so perfectly in the PR universe. If they can use Doggie from Dekaranger in SPD then Torin should not be a issue.

The difference here though is the SPD staff created an entirely new suit for Doggie that barely resembles the original Doggie from Dekaranger. They didn't reuse footage of the original suit at all. If they were to do that again and make a new suit, I'm not sure what they'd change.

Torin was in the teaser they showed at PMC. But then so was Kamen Rider Wizard, so take from that what you will.

And remember: Austin St. John released that he's in talks to be in PRDC. So we might see him as either Red's father like happened in Kyoryuger, or as the Mentor role. Either way I hope he wears a suit again.

Though to be frank, the SPD version of Doggie is so much better looking then the Deka one.

That I agree with. Not that the Dekaranger Doggie was bad. It was very Japanese, with the large anime eyes and such. Our Doggie just looked way more badass.

But then John's VO work had a lot do to with that to. Love that man.

I also agree with Den. I don't know how you could change Torin without ruining him. He looked perfect in Kyoryuger, and could easily be brought here without changing anything except his origin story.

The one thing I'm not sure about is making Priest Chaos into a Bounty Hunter named Sledge. But I am very willing to give him a chance.

If you like your alien dogs to be reptilian in nature. I like the original suit just fine.

I did always wonder why it looked like he had scales.

I like the fur and animatronics on the original just fine. Proportions work a little better for me as well.

Fury has said earlier that Go-Busters elements could appear in Dino Charge. It's looking more like that's the case.

i would rather have jason smith as ep, at least he would probably stick with one theme, instead of mixing it into a three ring circus.

It's also part of the reason the Omega Ranger was a ball of light - they blew their entire budget on Greg's sets and costumes that was intended for the 6th Ranger.

People don't realize how the pay scale works. I'll come up with something here to illustrate.

THIS PAY SCALE IS NOT ACCURATE AT ALL TO REAL-LIFE AND IS ONLY USED AS AN EXAMPLE.

Scale 1 - $8 an hour
- Extras
- Costumed characters
- Kids
- Uncredited voice overs or voice overs of minor characters

Scale 2 - $15 an hour
- Credited voice overs
- Guest stars

Scale 3 - $30 an hour
- Starring roles (the actual actors who play the Power Rangers)

I only have to pay some guy to run around in a suit a couple of times in SPD and then I won't name the voice actor as a "Power Ranger" and instead name him "Sam" and credit him as such, meaning I only have to pay $8 an hour to have an "Omega Ranger" instead of $30 an hour. I saved $22 an hour and can use that money elsewhere.

Take that same approach with Dino Charge now. I'm afraid of future ball of lights or just skipping characters altogether. Blue sounded a lot like Cyan in his description side during casting. Combine the two blues and eliminate the need for one of them?

Sorry, I didnt notice your other post. Yes, I'm following them on twitter. Camille had said on her facebook about 9 hours ago that they're all on the plane, and about an hour ago, James said it'd be another 5 and a half hours until they landed

Claire Blackwelder is in New Zealand as part of the Dino Charge cast. No word yet if she's Dino Charge Violet.

Seems quite likely to be Violet! To move to New Zealand is a major thing, I can't imagine any actor moving for a minor role.

While violet is a strong possibility, don't rule out that she could be playing another role like a villain or a support/secondary character or something.

How early does Violet appear in the sentai, though?

Not til later, but didn't the casting slides indicate an earlier appearance? Maybe they'll build up her character before her Ranger debut in Dino Supercharge.

Male Kyoryu Violet appeared in Episode 21 of Kyoryuger.

Female Kyoryu Violet appeared in Episode 24.

About ten or so episodes after gold joins the team.
