Newton is kind of my favorite aesthetically right now. Love the look of the boxer motif. Though Robin is the best for purely comical "you have failed this city" puns :lol

Loving the looks of these other forms. I think Ghost's standard look is still my favorite, but Newton is a close second.

So the saber splits for the samurai form... that's a cool idea. I'm really like this idea that the main form has the primary weapon and that (some) others forms alter it based on the soul. I always like it when a Kamen rider's arsenal is neat and tidy... unlike say 555's (so much clutter!!!)

Don't forget Kiva's too.

Kiva wasn't cluttered: He had his Fuestles which were alway on his belt.

555... you had to put everything on the belt and then put it on, not to mention you had to lug it around in big old metal case.

I still love the Edison soul, but man the possibilities of the Newton soul are awesome. Picture him uppercutting someone and he reverses gravity. Or he punches them down into the ground,leaving a crater behind.

Now that I think about it, I really love the Newton one because it reminds me of a boxer on his way to the ring, with the hooded robe

Did everyone notice that Newton's face is a falling apple? These helmet designs are brilliant.

It's an apple with a down arrow above it, which is even better. But yes, the helmets are amazing.

Also, the left glove has something I just notice. It has a ring around it. Maybe they're supposed to be planets, representing gravity.

I'm concerned: I think I prefer all of these to Ore Soul.

Is it my imagination that these hint that the helmet isn't so much a helmet as it is an eyeball resting atop the neck? I approve.

I on the other hand am relieved that none of the alternate forms interest me, meaning I only need to buy one toy and maybe the super form. If I like the show that is.

Also, I can't say this enough: I hate Riders who start out with like 5 forms. Geez. I know he can acquire all of them over the first 15 episodes or so, but there are still too many of them. But it's either that or a shit-ton of gimmick power-ups like with Drive or Fourze these days so pick your poison.

Looking at these forms close up I say they are not so much forms like say Forze Elect states or even wizards different styles, but the difference between Gaim orange arms and Gaim pineapple arms, in other words it looks like Ghost keeps the same base outfit but changes hoodies and faces so these don't seem to be true form changes in that we would only need to buy the base body once and the hoodies in two packs which looking at the toy list, that seems to be the case.

I think every form looks great, personally.

I'm liking all the forms, too. The face designs are brilliant and I just like the aesthetic the hoods give him. They're pretty great.

As a figuarts fan, though, I gotta wonder how they're gonna handle these? They're most akin to the Gaim forms, in that the base suit stays the same but the top of the body and head are changed in some way. With Gaim they had so many riders that they didn't have to worry about releasing too many similar figures, though, but with only two so far in Ghost (and with like 11 forms between the two of them just to start) that's...gonna be a different issue. If they release all of them stuff's gonna end up feeling pretty samey really quick. Maybe they'll go the Double way and release most of them in two packs or something.

Either way, I already know I want all five of Ghost's forms that we've seen. Next year is not gonna be a cheap one for me...

These forms all look fantastic. I haven't been this excited for a Rider show ever.

I have to be honest: I'm getting pretty pumped for Ghost, too. It's been awhile since just the suit designs and a couple story snippets got me this excited for the next show.

A couple of cool things have surfaced.

The gadgets look pretty cool, I like the fact that the phone and clock are really old-looking, it fits well with Ghost's themes. And I like the fact that the animals are traditional Kamen Rider enemies, those nods are always nice to see.

Cool thing about the Hoodies is that they have eyes so they really are Ghosts and not just armor.

It's nice to see the ghosts have some extra play outside of being attached a rider like Drives tires being able to attach to Tridon or Gaim's arms forming fruit

The gimmick should be more exciting than Drive's since it's putting on armor like the Arms Change line. I'm definitely all in for this.


Hopefully we have plenty of base molds to mix and match with.

I'm getting a "haunted objects" vibe from the gadgets. Not a bad thing.

I wonder if they can pick a young Japanese actor who can speak English.

Since some of the Ghost Icons are based after English/French historic men.

Oh man, I love the antique look of the gadgets, especially the clock and phone.

Oh shit no, the hoodie change stuff is basically like Gaim.... I might end up loving this line and getting every figure again, my wallet weeps.

I guess in a way Ghost is fashion themed because of the jacket gimmick.

It was a bad rumor, don't waste your time looking for a way to reconcile it with what we're getting. Looking for a fashion theme here is as pointless as looking for a hidden 8 theme.

It seems to me that Ghost has two themes like Gaim: Ghost/Fashion like Gaim's Fruit/Warrior. It's just the fashion part is related to transformation/form change and Ghost is the more general theme of the series.

Now that people start mentioning it, this does feel like Gaim 2.0....
We have multiple riders almost immediately out of the gate.
The Icons look similar to the Lockseeds
Gimmick surrounds the head and shoulder.

...Okay, so I'm rapidly running out of fuel, but this does seem to follow some trends that Gaim has...

Except it somewhat makes sense that people could mistaken this for more of a fashion theme rather than ghosts.

Historic figures as lock seeds. Sure why not.

Going with when we first heard the fashion rumor chances are the series main themes were still being ironed out and someone jumped to a keyboard the moment they started talking about fashion which turned into how Ghost changes form. This is why you always take early rumors with a grain of salt; either it's fake or the series is so early in preproduction that what was posted was just brainstorming by the staff.

Am I the only one that sees that Nobunaga Soul as a mid series upgrade. Seems awfully flashy just to be another soul.

Yeah, seems like they're trying to recreate Gaim's gimmick magic. Which I don't mind at all, because Arms Change was easily, easily the best Toku toy gimmick ever.

If its mid-season we wouldnt get it in the first quarter.

if Specter is going to be in the series right off the bat, maybe Specter is the Garren to Ghost's Blade? and we'll get another rider down the way who will use a different belt? maybe even a different set of powers?
