Wind-elemental rival Rider named Ren who wields two swords. Dark Rider with a black dragon motif (Calibur is purple but the actual dragon is black). 13 Riders. Monsters created from crayon, Megids created from pen. Shinji is a journalist, Touma is a fiction author, both writing jobs. Quote:

It's debatable whether it can even be considered a theory at this point, as I recall the producer Ohmori Takahito himself made a statement confirming that EX-Aid is connected to the number 10 (so that means Gotchard is Reiwa EX-Aid :p). If someone can find reference to 9 in Amazons, the pattern technically still works. |

I know it might be too early, but what band or artist(s) would you like to perform Gotchard opening?
|

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some returning artists, would love to hear someone like OOO's singer or even Beverly who sang Be the One would be cool As for bands we've never heard before there's none I know who have Avex as their label so I don't think anyone I'd pick would even be an option sadly |
So new rumor just dropped regarding Gotchard?s third rider, apparently the character is actually an AR Decade rather than Decade himself (although apparently he very much behaves like Tsukasa). The rumor also stated that the recent spread of rumors saying it?s actually Decade echos the Twokaiser situation (apparently at the time before Twokaiser appeared in Zenkaiger there were rumors that Marvelous would return to play him & that obviously turned out to be bogus and Twokaiser was simply themed after the Gokaigers. Apparently it?s the same deal here).
As always grain of salt guys, and either way we?ll find out soon enough. |

Now there's a name I never thought I'd see again.
|
Of all the things in this show that was rumored to come back, I did NOT expect Shochaku Henshin, let alone it ACTUALLY coming back.
|
I refuse to accept it as the Souchaku Henshin line unless there are tiny helmetless heads!
|
So they've begun to post images for the toys, they're already covered on the front page,I'll just post my thoughts;
Dx ValvaraDraw and ValvaRusher - Interesting names, I'm guessing with the fact that his equipment has 4 Vehicle cards, Valvarad/Valvarado's deal is that he'll specialize in them for the show. Gotchard AntWrestler - Is the typical bruiser form (Punching Kong/Monster Buckle/Kong Genome), I'm surprised the legs don't get armor at all. I suppose this means not all the armors will cover Gotchard's full body, but rather will only armor certain places to create a unique silhouette. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lastly, and not related to the new images Tokunation posted; An eagle-eyed user on reddit noticed the toy versions of the Ride Chemy Cards actually have their Rarities noted near the bottom next to their id code: https://news.tokunation.com/wp-conte...raw-Buckle.jpg There are... 8 rarities: Common -> Rare -> Super Rare -> Legend Rare -> Ultra Rare -> Extra Rare -> Parallel Rare -> Legend Parallel Rare Combined with the Rider Wikia's claim that each category (Insect, Animal, Vehicle, etc) will have 10 cards and... I do not envy the Toy Collectors this season. |
not to take it to a crude place and not that bandai or toei care about English at all, but it tickles me that "Valvarusher" is just one letter away from a very different kind of stick-shaped electronic toy...;)

On topic though, I dunno... these designs aren't "bad" per se, I'm just really not feeling them though. To be honest, I think the chrome teal for the main rider looks really cheap. I think it would've been better/cooler just to make it metallic teal.
I also kind of find it boring that the Rival character is just the same colors as Machine Chaser and say Calibur, Horobi, half a dozen other recent "bad guy Riders"--I suppose someone in Japan thinks that making the "bad guy" purple & silver is easy to understand for kids, I just wish someone would buck that trope eventually. No reason a bad guy can't be red/white/blue, just look at Starscream lol |

For the first time in a long while I actually want to buy the KR collectible action figure line again. I really like the look of AppareSkebo and AntWrestler a lot. Not big on SteamHopper, sadly though. I dunno, grasshopper Riders have my respect, but I kind of find them a bit too safe to do. I like the stranger nontypical forms and Riders to begin with, too. As for the rarities, wowie, really hope that the toy collectors for this season are also card collectors, because otherwise they're gonna need to learn a whole new type of patience for that. |

Here's a look at some of the legend Rider cards from Gotchard. Looks like the bottom right corner next to the card rarity tells you what the Rider cards pair with: Geats + Ziin, Zero-One + Den-O, Agito + Blade, Kiva + Wizard, Decade + Zi-O, Fourze + Build, Gaim + Drive, Faiz + Kuuga, Ex-Aid + Hibiki, & W + OOO.

We're doing Souchaku Henshin again?! Damn, now that's quite a callback. Only figures I have from that line are Ryuki and Ouja, but the armor-up gimmick was a lot of fun
|
I know that it might sound like a stupid question but I wonder if we can play actual TCG a la Yu Gi Oh or Magic the Gathering with these Ride Chemy Cards. If so, what are the rules?
|
They're "Ganbarizing" cards for the arcade machine Kamen Rider Battle: Ganba Legends.

The most obvious thing that comes to my mind about the game. Players are randomly dealt two or three cards. Those who were not lucky enough to get a pair for uniforms do not participate in the game, but they keep the cards and in the future they can exchange with one of the players. The remaining cards are assigned by monsters that are located in different locations of the school / city. Who exactly is known only to the gamemaster. Players take turns calling the location where they are going, encountering a monster. If they win, they take his card; lose - lose one card of their choice, which also becomes a monster. When all the monsters are defeated, the rider war begins. Well, in the end, the one who collects all the cards wins. The strength of the monsters can be tied to their number, and for the same cards of the degree of rarity, but in order to avoid disputes whether the mantis beat train or not, you still need to have an example from the show. If not, let the master decide. If the majority of players do not agree with the opinion of the master, he must concede. In principle, it is best to specify the relationship between the categories in advance, according to the principle of "rock-paper-scissors and a well in the yard."
To be honest, I like it more than the idea of DGP in the real world. Partly because I made it up, partly because I'm sure the DGP will steal buckles right out of the belt, claiming it's canon on the show. |

I just want to get the Kamen Rider Saber card, is it suppose to come in this set Ride Chemy Trading Card PHASE:01?
|
The Legend Cards are amazing. I love that they are taking the Saber route and making original designs for the Riders rather than slapping some stock photo on and calling it a day.
It also struck me as interesting that pretty much every Reiwa Rider has a fair bit of merch for the previous season. Saber had three unique Wonder Ride Books for 01 (and a Legend Book), Geats had four buckles for the four main Revice Riders, and now Gotchard has four Geats Riders and their sponsors, as well as Glare and Gazer (Wasn't Glare in like one episode and easily killed off and forgotten? lol I forgot he and Zhin existed until their cards showed up, also poor Punkjack is left out). The odd one out here is Revice, which despite being the anniversary season, didn't do anything even remotely special for Saber (the Kajiki Vistamp was literally a Ticket-exclusive that I don't think even showed up in the background of the show). Should of had at least a pair of Blades and Espada Vistamps. I do wonder what the excuse for the Rider's cards will be for showing up in-show. This definitely removes the idea of Regular cards being references to other Rider's at least. |

Speaking of the color of the secondary pseudo-rider: it's not purple after all. Perhaps I would call his color magenta, but then we have to admit that Decade is pink. Basically, for me, the color of this guy is a dirty flamingo.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but it looks like the DX Gatchage Gun can fire out the cards.
The product listing on Bandai's' site says this "Fire 30 cards from "Kamen Rider Gutchard" ! Introducing the DX Gatchage Gun!" and "When you pull the trigger, the motor drives and fires up to 30 Ride Chemite Trading Cards continuously inside the main unit!" The above has been automatically translated with Chrome, so it could be incorrect https://toy.bandai.co.jp/series/ride.../detail/13427/ |
I'm absolutely in love with the Rider cards. So cute!

Here's a look at some more main Rider cards, more Geats cards, and Parallel rare cards. Also it seems that the secondary Rider cards come with first wave of Gotchard's Sodo line.

For Gotchard's gun you can see there's a rectangular unit attached to the gun, but no slot for cards to come out of the barrel has ever been seen, I think the card "shoots" inside the gun then simply falls into the rectangular unit, which clearly has a hinge to open it, and you retrieve the cards from there Tbh this is what I assumed when we got the first leaked image of the gun toy, and the promo image just made me think even more so that it's true |

Y’know something that concerns me about the Gotchard toyline is the material of the cards.
Ya see back with the OG Ryuki, Blade, and Decade lines the cards were actual paper/cardboard cards and they ran into the problem of them naturally wearing out over time from just sliding them in & out of their respective gadgets (in other words they'd get ruined from regular play). It wasn’t until the Superbest re-release of the DecaDriver that the cards were changed to be made out of plastic in order to increase durability. Seeing all the holographic and chrome bits on the different card rarities makes me worry that they returned to making tradition paper/cardboard cards which will most definitely get worn out and ruined from sliding them in & out of the Driver/Weapons. I'm hoping that maybe the DX versions will be made out of plastic at least. |
I mean, with the whole rarities thing and all, I'm banking on the idea that the cards are gonna be made of cardboard, but the ones you wanna use to play with the toys are the common ones so that you don't damage your rarer ones.

AntWrestler form
I don't remember if we saw a pic of him yet or no. |
I hear rumors about the Legend Riders' fusions in Gotchard:
And I bet in the future....
And based on the types of cards. Gotchard with insects even mixed, Valvarad with vehicles, and the tertiary rider with Legend Riders - Decade style. I'm betting for new riders later on...
