It's nice to be the only person in the universe to ever pick Primarina, apparently :lol

Funnily enough, I'm actually planning to pick Primarina for my eventual Ultra Sun playthrough since I'm hoping to get that and Ultra Moon for Christmas.

I picked Primarina, and reset so many times to get a friggin female one -_-

Actually I’m in the same boat there. As a matter of fact, Primarina was the very first Shiny I ever hatched in any game, and it was on the very first egg too.

Shiny primarina looks a lot better than the normal one imo.

I'll be using it in Ultra Sun when I get my games later today.

My team will most likely be

-Primarina
-Dusk Lycanroc
-Shiny Lurantis
-Togedemaru
-Alolan Marowak
-Kommo-o

I want to try and use a completely different team for Ultra Sun. So as much as I ended up loving Incineroar, I feel I should go with a different starter this time.

Won't be Primarina though, sorry. :P

I meant to use one in my Sun playthrough, but somehow completely missed the only spot they can be found in, so a Turtonator will probably be my replacement fire type. Had too many fire types as it was anyway.

Palossand was another cool one I didn't end up using, so will probably use on too.

From there, it's pretty up in the air. I stuck exclusively to gen 7 Pokemon last time, so maybe this time I'll be more open and just take whatever sounds fun or interesting that I haven't used in a playthrough before.

I was going to try out Primarina, but decided that since I almost never pick the fire starter I’m going to give Litten a go.

That leaves me needing a water type, any recommendations? Preferably an Alolan Poke, and not Golisopod as I did one last game.

Pyukumuku because if you can beat single player with a Pyukumuku on your team you're the best Pokemon player

Admittedly, this generation so far is the only time I haven't picked a water starter after the fire starter or, in the case of the first Black and White games, before it. So, I'm definitely making it up for it in one of the upcoming games.

Out of all the water types of Alola, I would recommend Wishiwashi especially once you get it to level 20 for its Schooling ability.
