Well my Blade and Bouken boys have shipped out from Amazon. Still waiting for AmiAmi to send me my payment requirement for HurricaneRed and Infinity.

Infinity releases this weekend on the 28th. So you should get that soon.

They've got the best prices for exclusives. The 2 pack is 9370 with EMS. I opted for EMS there because it was only 280 yen higher than what BiginJapan was charging with SAL.

I have some complaints though. I'm not sure if its just mine, but the sword and sheath seems a little heavy on his back, so his back section keeps disconnecting and falling off when posing him! It's sort of annoying, but it stays on fine when not being messed around.

I also wish he had a few more accessories. All he has is the Akibaranger part, his sword, his sheath and the Dry Gun. No parasol or Rifle mode for the sword...

Also, the Campaign Stickers I got were "Cho Akiba Red, Tyranno Ranger and Cho Akiba Red Super", so they're definitely not specific to what is being bought.

I guess a lot of people haven't had theirs shipped out yet because of the Kamen Riders due out this weekend. I only got payment request on mine today because its coming with other things.

I got mine in tuesday, I just dont take pictures at the moment because Im lazy. :lol The sword on the back doesnt mess mine up, it stays in nice and tight. I do think it sucks that the gun mode of Sword isnt included. :(

But its still a great figure and representation of Shane from Ninja Storm (or HurricaneRed if you prefer) :lol

I got my Ninja Storm Red a few days ago. He certainly is in my top 3 favorite Red's in terms if quality figuarts. I think I may be one of 4 people here that consider it a ninja storm character though....

Count me in the Ninja Storm camp as well, haven't seen Hurricanger, but I am, coincidentally, about half way through with Ninja Storm. I unfortunately have to wait for the bluefin release. I'm going to try my hand at middle man for the blue/yellow two pack though.

So.. They keep pushing Lady Candelira in the episodes. She's had more airtime, and more arcs. So might there be a chance we see her in atleast ZERO form? .. If she is a ZERO she better be singing, all I'm saying.

Not really. I've made no secret of the fact that once I finally was exposed to sentai years ago I gained a much greater appreciation for it than Power Rangers. I'm a source material kind of guy, for me the original is always better. With Ninja Storm it's pretty apparent how much of a mess it was. But in general I don't like Power Rangers, so it's all sentai for me.

Don't get em wrong I can still appreciate it for what it is and it's influence but PR just isn't for me anymore. That's why I prefer Japanese style boxes for my figures. It's meaningless to me to have a US Power Rangers box.

I don't think she's had any "arcs" as such. Appearances yeah, but in terms of story I'd say she's the least developed Deboss.

I know NS wasnt the best series, but it was my first Power Rangers so I cant help but hear and see it in my head when I look at HurricaneRed. Just like I see Jason or Tommy when I look at my Tyranno or DragonRangers. Or DekaRed to me is Jack Landors. I really need to watch more Sentai so I can actually get a good idea of the differences in the two franchises. :lo

Netflix has made it infinitely easier for me to watch the seasons I missed while my interests were kept elsewhere. I can put a season of PR up in the background while I work around the house/complete my honey do list. Exposure to the source material, however has granted a greater understanding of the original intention if the footage used, and more so of that which goes unused.


On a happy note, just got my notification email from Amazon, Blade and Sailor Moon are on their way.

Man, every time Kibaranger goes up on sale at Mandarake it's basically after I just 'step out or away' for a short bit.

So much stuff I need to get here still... Bouken Blue and Black, Sailor Moon, Hurricane Red, and Kibaranger... Heck, I still need to get Gokai Yellow, Pink, and SIlver to complete the Gokaigers.

I ordered it today, and when I started the order it still showed as a preorder, but during checkout it's like the site suddenly realized it was released and out of stock. Don't know when I'll get mine. :/

Before today's message I had received an email stating that its release date was pushed back to November 9th, so maybe that's their next receipt of stock.
