Don't really see why Necrom being a November exclusive is a grave injustice or anything...

Chaser was the same way and even then sites like Mandarake got a good amount in not long after his release. Plus I don't see why him getting released after Ghost's finale should even be an issue. Lord Baron is being released over a year after Gaim's finale. Hell, Chaser was out like 3, almost 4 months after Drive. And if the excuse is "Both Gaim and Drive had V-cinemas", Ghost already has one confirmed. It can have more even afterwards if they want.

Chaser may have debuted at around the same time as Necrom, but Chaser also had his first form as a mass release figure. Not quite the same situation.

Also, "Mandarake got a good amount in" is hardly a confirmation of wide availability.

Lord Baron also appeared in whopping total of 4 episodes and the character's main form was mass release. Again, not the same.

Necrom being exclusive isn't a "grave injustice", it's just baffling that the show's third Rider who appeared maybe less than halfway into the series is a web exclusive coming out after the show is done when the character hasn't had any prior representation in the line and Ghost in general has had a surprisingly low amount of mass release figures.

Rider Chaser, yes. Who first appeared in episode 26 and who's figure was announced in August.

Mashine Chaser on the other hand was released a month later than Drive Type Speed, the same happens now with Ghost & Specter. The second Rider, Mach who appeared around the time Necrom was first introduced was a retail release in June. That's the comparison you should make.

Yes, but acquiring one is not the problem, for me at least, the price is. These Web-Exclusives cost me about 70 bucks, shipping included, which I'm not willing to pay for some figures. With Necrom I probably would've pulled the trigger at retail price, but Web-Exclusive? Nah. Also, you can never tell if these figures will be popular enough to be non-existent on the secondary market.

The "issue" (I would hardly call it that) is that they announce a secondary Rider which appeared in the first quarter of the show as a Web-Exclusive 8 months in advance. It’s like if they announced Zangetsu as a Web-Exclusive for November after Gaim & Baron just came out.

How did the Ghost figuarts did with pre-orders so far? Maybe if they did better in pre-orders then maybe Necrom will be a retail release. I personally don't like that he is a web exclusive too, but I guess Tamashii didn't think he will sell well at retail.

For Rider standards they both did pretty miserably. Preorders were open for weeks, possibly months.

Meh, unfortunately not surprised about Necrom being Web exclusive. Bandai's been pretty weird about their release strategies with figuarts lately. Kivala, a movie-exclusive rider with only one appearance got a retail release so nothing phases me anymore lol.


Speaking of Web exclusives, I managed to find an SHF Orga at Jungle. Should be arriving this week. Can't wait to get him in hand. I just need to find Chaser.

The Ryuki line is still probably my all-time favorite Figuarts sub-line, yes even over Gaim, Marvel, and Star Wars.
