And what does it matter as long as the show is good? I love continuous story arcs, but come on man. What would you do if they went back to that formula in Gaimu? Have you never watched anime like Dragonball, Golion/Voltron, or Sailor Moon? Even Narutard and Bleach repeat the same formula. |
At least with Black something happens each episode. He fights someone or saves someone or uncovers a mystery. He's not just standing around talking for three episodes at a time.
|
Perhaps you all should check out Amazon, then?
It's action packed, it's violent, it's 70's-tastic, and it's only 24 episodes long, making it the shortest Kamen Rider series ever (Seeing as ZX is a TV special, not an actual show). |

So what would any of you say is the most Showa-esque Heisei series, out of curiosity.
|
Kabuto, I guess.
|
Decade. Easy.
|
So watched Kabuto 1 because I got bored with Decade :lol
Its pretty good, I like how it actually people dying instead of a scream and cut away :lol |
I'm watching W while I take a break from Dekaranger and Go-Busters. Man, that puppet in episode 25 was creepy looking.

But watching them for 49 episodes didn't make me want to dragon punch a kitten. |

But let's just say...I'm not a fan. |
I have an opinion of Deacde. I formed it from watching teh few episodes with Riders I cared about and his crossover movies.
It goes: I don't want to watch Decade because holy shit you can't even pretend to act can you pink panther? |

There is nothing wrong with pure action, I LOVE pure action, but I'd assumed and generalised that Kamen Rider was more the thinking man's Toku and Sentai the more popcorny Toku and I was okay with that. Black is enjoyable as it is, but if I want a pure action series I'll go with Sentai, who do it best and with much bigger budgets. And if they go back to the Showa style with Gaimu, the budget better be big enough to cover it. I loved Bleach at one point, but I got fed up in the end, the show should have ended when all the Soul Society stuff was solved. |

It was when I realised his expression in his eyes never once changes. Anyway, I'm gonna check out Ryuki: Thirteen Riders. Just because more Zolda please! Also, maybe some of the lesser exposes riders can get some more exposure. |

He couldn't even half-ass "Ore Sanjou." |

Second, he still did better at it than the dude who plays Yuseless. |
Just saw the Wizard Hyper Battle video, it was pretty cool for being only 20 minutes. I got a sliver more Rider action and Dancing. Beast and Wizard swapping rings wss cool although Kamen Rider Beast fused with the Land Dragon style made me remember Beast is incompatible with 99 percent of other rings. *Tear rolls down face for Nitou*

But he LITERALLY sounded like he was falling asleep. Like, his nose sounded stuffy. |

Like, at all. In terms of who advanced the plot, it was Yusuke > Kaito > Natsumi > Narutaki > Tsukasa > the Grandfather And in terms of likable characters, Yusuke stands alone on that platform. After rewatching Decade, yes, Yusuke wasn't very active in battle. But he was far more vital than just a pair of fists. |

Yes, it was annoying that Yusuke chose to sit out a fight more often than not, but honestly, if was had Kuuga going around each of the Rider worlds, then Tsukasa would be pretty pointless as a character. |
