A friend of mine who I haven't seen for a few years invited me to a Gundam build meet today. We had a good time catching up and building Gunpla.

I didn't plan on buying anything at the store the meet was hosted in but I saw some decently priced AGE kits, and, well, let's just say my wallet's a bit lighter now.

Which episode was ?

After I store some movies in disk books I'll see what ones I need. Once
I open up my book shelf I can get new ones next month. It depends if I can
do 40 movies or 80 so I had bought 2 so I can single disk slot them. The
small one is for my James Bond movies. I had to allow for the Bill And Ted
Trilogy. 007 is my largest set with 25 disks , Star Trek has 13 disks and
X Men has 11 disks

So, I'm considering on picking up the Mini-Pla Hakaizer and Hakaiju-Oh kit. This would be my first Model Kit outside of Legos, is there anything I should worry about going in? Like if I need any special tools or things to keep in mind?

Well its a pb kit, and one with a crap ton of stickers. So id recommend tweezers for applying stickers and gundam nippers to cut out pieces from the runner. I would also recommend a hobby knife to just shave off any excess nubs on the pieces from said runners. Thats pretty much all you need. Oh and q tips or something like that to press down on the stickers after you've placed them with the tweezers. They help push the sticker all the way down and adhere to the surface better in ways you cant do with your hands.

Thanks for the tips! I'll keep this in mind. I have some knowledge of these items, and I do know of some hobby stores that have Gundams, so getting my hands on these shouldn't be a problem.

I hate that Inside Job got cancled. One of my favorite animated series in years is now dead. What I love about the show is that they give us a funny original female lead character. There's not many western animated shows with female roles that are made for a older auddience. I also feel like Netflix doesn't promote the show as much. The show doesn't have the same level as marketing as Rick and Morty or Big Mouth does.

It's typical for Netflix to neglect the marketing of mid-range shows. I remember the third season of Daredevil had low ratings, because many fans did not even notice its release.

So normal minipla are actually designed to be able to be assembled with no special tools. You can pop the pieces off of the runners with just your fingers, and usually the plastic is soft enough that even rubbing it with your fingernail will smooth it out. Of course, using tools will give the absolute smoothest result, but for somebody who doesn't have them, it's not necessary to get them.

That being said, this kit is kind of a unique case. It appears to be normal minipla (as opposed to Super Minipla/SMP), but it's also P Bandai, so I can't vouch for whether what I described applies to this as well. If you intend to ever buy more model kits in the future, it might not be a bad idea to invest in some tools, whether you need them here or not.

Don't even get me started on Netflix. It seems like they'll cancel anything that isn't an instant mega-hit these days. Gone are the days of shows like Parks and Rec or Seinfeld, where they start off a bit shaky and eventually grow into something amazing.

The new Gundam Witch From Mercury episode was so shocking that I ruminated over it all of yesterday, I haven't been this disturbed by the show since that Happy Birthday episode.

Can't wait for season 2, the first season was great and the last episode slapped and I can't wait to see how they'll take the story from here.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , Turbo - A Power Rangers Movie and Paramount TMNT all came in yesterday.

Once I finish Out Of The Shadows it'll be interesting to see what happens with the TMNT Cinimatic Universe.

As for Power Rangers I'm wondering if Netflix is going to restart with MMPR
again or do their own thing and we see new Rangers after Cosmic Fury out of
curiosity.

This will be my first time watching all 3 Power Rangers movies together.

TMNT has a cinematic universe?

It starts with TMNT Mutant Meyhem. The 7th big screen
movie and then they want to start doing some on the bad
guys. Likey we'll see Oroku Saki and possibly one for Karai
maybe.

The new movie will focus on the teenage aspect of TMNT.

I cleared out two shelves in my book case. Now I can see what new
movies are out on DVD. First I'll see if Dollar General has any before

I'd recently watched MMPR The Movie having gotten it at
a yard sale. Watching Turbo - A Power Rangers Movie
currently.

It turns out that recording a video is much harder than performing in front of an audience. With a live audience, you can improvise, depending on the interests of the audience, and if you screw up, you have no choice but to continue. In the recording, you have to start all over again and I barely mastered two minutes.

So I opened up a Candy Toy lockseed today, and of course, inside it was a sealed piece of classic flower-shaped candy. It's a decade old by now. Should I eat it? Is the trade off for "funny" to "death" worth it?

Do the SG lockseeds make any sounds on their own without the driver? I have a second-hand one but I'm afraid the electronics are dead, battery swapping didnt work

Yes! All of them come from pressing the same button on the back the driver is meant to trigger, but it loops through the lockseed name, the transformation sound, and then the squash/au lait/sparking.

After Saban's Power Rangers I can get to the TMNT movies in case Mutant Meyhem comes
out. There was a wait while I had shipped in the Paramount movies.

Maybe try out some super robot stuff. Mazinger, Getter Robo, Tetsujin 28-go, and Giant Robo: The Animation have giant robots vs kajiu action in them. Same with Eva (Debatable if you want to call them mecha or not).

It's funny you bring that up, I've been thinking lately I'd enjoy some super robot stuff. It's probably only a matter of having some free time and being in the right mood before I become a some kind of old super robot anime afficionado.
