Honestly it's good that they aren't showing off literally everything prerelease but this is a bit mucg
|
They've implied in an interview we won't see the starter evos pre-release this time round.
|
From the accurate leak we got, it does say what they look like with Grookey becoming a drummer, Scorbunny becominga soccer player, and ChamelEmo (can't remember the name) becoming a secret agent I think.

My issue is that as of now, the only past gen content not from Kanto is Zigzagoon's line. That, and the fact that 3 of these are on disk dlc
|
Will very, very happily trade in Z-Moves for Gen 1 Pikachu.
That said... just a little irked that the first new form for an old Pokémon they showed was Zigzagoon, and since then it's only been Gen 1. Today's news might be because it's Game Freak's 30th anniversary, but following this I hope we see a lot more other-gen Pokémon get a spotlight like Zigzagoon. |
Hmmm my feelings are mixed on this.Loving Eevee and Fat Gen 1 Pikachu(Who will get plenty of plushie sales) in particular and am really digging the design of Butterfree.
I just feel the other generations could seriously do with more love. Zigzagoon's new form and it's evolutions are totally badass. Just hope we get more Gen 2 and above representation. |
Very underwhelming video. IDK my hype for sword has gone down a lot for the game and this video makes it even more boring. I feel we might get a dud kinda game like sun and moon with so little shown off.

Yeah, I can only second all the "Gen 1 getting too much love" feeling going around. Especially for Pikachu getting a special Gigantomax. I get the reference, it just irks me.
