From a new leak which so far looks like being a good chance of being true, other gens will be getting love and new evos for a couple non Gen 1 Pokemon if proven true.

Also, Z-Moves were shit, poorly designed mechanic that literally just let you get a free OHKO against any opposing Pokemon that was bothering you. Them being gone is a good thing.

I prefer Mega Charizard X's design and, ironically, how much more reserved it is; but I also really like what Giga Zard is going for and how different a concept it is.

I think he's either talking about the Affleck leak, which has been out and proven real for ages now, or the new 'collage' leak which the newest trailer neither confirmed nor denied

Affleck doesn't mention any old Pokemon besides Kanto ones, so it may be the collage one. I've seen people say Gigamax Butterfree adds to its credibility because of the mothra thing, but frankly most of the references are so vague that even if true it's hard to say how much one can say it refers to specific Pokemon, Gen 1 or not (some exceptions apply...for more Kanto mons)

The other logic is that, even if the leak is true, which is debateable, Game Freak is choosing to advertise by appealing to the Gen 1 nostalgia with this trailer, and evrything else so far (except that one Zigzagoon).

It says that Giga Charizard looks like a mix of Mega Charizard X and Y. I don't really want to give a link because it has one big story spoiler. But if no one cares about that then I will post it after I get home from work today.

This leak apparently says some other Pokemon getting Galarian forms are Stantler and Chatot with Chatot getting an evolution. And the third legendary apparently being evil. Oh and no Dunsparce evo sadly if true.

Hmmm. I'm not sure I'd take that as adequate proof -- there were a fair few people thinking that they might re-use Megas for Gigas, and the idea of a mix isn't that specific a guess. Nor is guessing Charizard would get one; given not just its popularity but being the Champion's ace.

Also, and this is subjective; but I don't think it really looks like a mix? I can see certain aspects but overall it feels like it's going for something very different.
