Yeah, watching the director's cut instead of episode 12 is a terrible idea. There's stuff left out of it that is really needed for proper context. You really have to watch 12 first...unfortunately, because it's just such a freaking bad ending and until you watch the director's cut you're left with a sense of "what in the hell just...?"

I really dig Akame ga Kill so far. I don't get the hate so far. I mean the animation looks nice, the action is enjoyable and all of the characters have good personalities to them. The story is pretty cool too. No spoilers since I'm watching it as it airs on Toonami.

Let's just say some don't like it because:
1) the ending (you'll see)
And 2) anime steers away from the manga big time

I'm actually one of those who enjoyed it despite the ending.

ok after going back to season one of crowds to watch episode twelve i think both DC and original Cut where crappy only thing i liked from DC hajima putting katze in to her own body that prob be even then never understood why she did not just killed him but that the way she i suppose.

Because it had a lot of potential to compete with the big 3 as well as Attack On Titan, instead it stray off so far from the manga, that it became a super typical shonen anime.

I haven't read the manga yet. I like to read the manga after I finish the anime shows first. I think as long if they tell a good story then adaptions should stand on their own. I still think the original FMA series is good despite not being 100% faithful to the manga. Same with non anime shows and movies like The Lawnmower Man which is a decent sci-fi flick even though it had nothing to do with the Stephen King short story of the same title.

Especially for me because as a general rule I prefer manga to anime. I usually end up appreciating the manga more than I do the adaptation, so I make a point of "saving the best for last." Plus that way I can see the adaptation as its own thing without having my perception colored by my experience with the original story. It's a whole thing.

it reminded me when i first started watching the rosario vampire anime and started reading the manga to it while watching it. i will call the first manga season one due to the second manga is called season 2. so i did diggin learned the first two season of the anime was first season manga with changes after finishing season one anime and learned that they did side to do season two and there second year of school when season one manga all the stuff happened in there first year. it did not sit with me when he did not get any of his awesome powers that tsugumi get during the actule season 2 of the manga and so i am still waiting waiting for new adaption.

Killing him would be entirely against the point of Hajime and everything she stands for in the show.

i like i said i as i continued with my post that it was how she is and understand that still did not like ether cut of the final episode. on another note i am really liking insight and knew gerlulu would be trouble.

Even with how it differs it can be fun, but that ending is all kinds of atrocious.

Still, the cast does carry the show, so it's okay if not spectacular.

Doomed Megalopolis - A bit confusing, but there is three more episodes. I knew about this anime for years, but never seen it until now.

Watched the 7 currently available episodes of Charlotte earlier. Interesting show, more feels than I expected and remarkably little fanservice.

Sort of not anime watching but planning to watch more fate stuff.

Silly, over the top, full of fanservice both in the form of nods, and the other more common kind of fanservice.

I like the manga, but never finished the anime.

So fairly good then, Okay might give it a watch and such and see how it is like and such.

How is the blu-ray for the original Bubble Gum Crisis? I'm a big fan of the original. I do admit that I never seen the sequel since I hear mixed things about it. I did like the recent 2040 series from the late 90's though.

Okay first episode of Fate Kalied Liner prisma Ilya, I think that is the order.

I liked the magical girl parodies, I like the setting of fate in general and more rin is a definite plus.

On other hand, there is Loli fanservice and I am not particularly fond of that, it really dissuades from watching some shows, I am huge fate nerd so I will probably watch more but it does put me off.

okay, just because loli is a VERY broad term:

is it underrage loli, or petite bodied but legal age female loli?
because there is a huge difference.
like, one can send you to jail huge difference.

The not good kind of Loli fanservice, This is one of problems with animes like this is the fact this is there and do not like it being there since their are shows I want to watch but they are in their and I can't watch them as a result.

Finished my rewatch of K-On! last night and it's just as amazing as it was when I last watched it about 4 years ago. The movie was especially enjoyable to revisit since because I actually know London I can fully appreciate the level of detail and realism Kyoto Animation put into their scenery. Seeing actual shop names and recognisable streets is pretty mindblowing.

so i still trying to catch up on my anime from friday to today as i have stuff on memory stick i watch weekly from funimation and i am so looking forward the fate/kailede illya prism due to the manga just gotten what would say dark for this show

Carnival phantasm is now one of my favourite things ever, watched through all of it, need to find my sides again.

Tonight's Akame ga Kill! episode on Toonami was pretty awesome. I really like the show and I don't care what people say about the show. I do plan on reading the manga after I finish the show, however I feel like adaptions should stand on their own though.

I'm also watching Baka and Test. I just borrow it from a friend of mine and I'm really liking it so far. Can't wait to check out Season 2.

Finally sought out better subs to finish off Gargantia. Man, I sure wish we were getting a second season after that.

Also realized another episode of the Pokémon Mega Evolution special was aired a few months ago that I completely missed, so I watched that. Seeing Primal Groundon, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Rayquazza fighting animated was awesome. Final episode is apparently supposed to air this fall so that'll be cool.

I want to watch Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS and Vivid but it'll feel.. weird, considering I watched the English dub of the first and second season quite a while ago.

I finish season 1 of Baka and Test, I really enjoy the show. Loved the characters and the humor. I look forward to watch the second season and the OVA's. I still have some anime that I still need to finish watching.
