My Delphox dies too fast too. I mean, I love it to bits but I just can't help him survive 1HKOs.

I'm going to work on my team tomorrow. if i can get them all up to there final forms I'll want to battle

Focus Sash the Delphoxes?

The fact that he has Intimidate makes him seem pretty good. But should I use him over Noibat/Noiveyrn? Hmmmm

That's something to consider. Never thought of that before since nobody has ever mentioned it.

Staraptor is a great Pokemon, and my favourite of all the "early Flying/Normal flyers".

Guess it wouldn't hurt to give him a try then! I'll give catching him a try next time I run into one.

But Focus Sash ensures you survive with 1 HP when at full.

Sometimes you have to ditch the power item to ensure survivablity :D

My Greninja has a Focus sash and he still dies. :/

No, your Greninja has the Focus Band, which can activate multiple times at any HP, but it's not guaranteed to work.

I know what a Focus Sash does. What I'm trying to say is that what'll likely happen is.

Delphox: Charge
Opponent: Earthquake
Delphox: Uses Solarbeam *takes out opponent*
Opponent: Brings out faster pokemon, then KOs Delphox.

With a drought Nintales, I don't need to worry about the charging.

Note to self: Don't ever ever ever eeeever pick a person with Steelix for Multi Battle at the Battle Maison again. Even if the second Pokémon is a Latias. Freakin tired of being destroyed by my own team members' damn EQs and Explosions...

Okay so ComicGuy and I traded Dittos to achieve Masuda Method and they aren't registering as foreign Pokemon and we are both VERY confused.

Why aren't Australia and America considered foreign to eachother?

According to this, it needs to be a foreign language, so since Australia's Pokemon games are English, they don't work.

Although now I'm curious how Klonoahedgehog would register. Puerto Rico primarily speaks Spanish, but it's a commonwealth of the United States.

Because both are in English. They have to be from regions with different languages (or at least a game/3DS with a different language setting); it's not a true "foreign" check.

The languages available are English, Japanese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and presumably Korean based on the choices at the start of the game although I've yet to find any with that one.

Yeah. I figured since you didn't Brave Bird me off the bat, there wasn't much for me to worry about from Talonflame, so I decided to get a Dragon Dance in.

The turn you Mega Evolve, the turn order is still determined using the original form's speed.
Looking it up, though, Charizard (Both X and Y Mega Evos) and Salamence have identical base speeds, so I guess it went in my favor (My Salamence has a speed raising nature), making the first point irrelevant :lol
