I think they have a will of their own or something. I don't really know, I've been watching Kabuto for so long I've forgotten why anything happens.

It's not a plot hole. It's made pretty clear from episode 1.

I swear, literally everything in Kabuto tied back to the Worms.

They, being Zect, didn't make them sentient or really make them at all. The actual creators of the Zecters, the Native gave them sentience. They created them to eventually use the riders to subjugate mankind and transform humanity into Native Worms . The Zecters were meant to choose their users, those they deemed worthy of their great respect and power. TheBee was the only one that initially chose an obedient lap dog host. And we see where that got TheBee Zecter in the end, no host at all, not even a role in the finale. Just a part of Hyper Kabuto's power set. The others chose some very wild characters indeed. But it isn't a plot hole that they're sentient.

May not be a plothole, but it sure doesn't sound very coherant.

Watched the OOO Wonderful movie, which for some reason I had never watched... odd.

I liked it, it was fun, well paced and being able to see the guys again was great.

I wish I could say more but Karin Ogino (Yumeria) dressed as jester gets me all distracted... I'm a weak, weak man.

Yumeria is my favorite Akibaranger so I was excited about her being in another costume, nothing else. And I love jesters for some reason, despite my hate of clowns.

That said I think we are almost the same age. Like 2 months of difference.

-Make Tachibana your buddy? Sounds like a good plan.
-I don't think I've ever said it before, but Virgo is awesome, both character and design wise.
-Cosmic again... nobody is suprised.
-You befriended friendship itself, that's beyond awesome.
-So the M-Bus has the victims of the "dark nebula" nice to know.
-I miss Virgo's female voice.
-And Virgo bites the dust, as expected. Those final words T_T
-Saggitarius is... ok I guess, don't care about the design or the character much.
-Double Henshin! Finally!... and they were pawned completely.
-I liked the burial great scene.
-And going by the preview the next Horoscopes is Yuuki as Geminis!? Sounds interesting.

Overall I liked the arc, but since I'm dense as heck I got a question was the couples ticket meant to confirm their relationship or was Yuuki just playing with them?

The whole Virgo identity twist thing does a good job of summing up why the second half of Fourze was balls.

"Hey so we have like four or five open plot threads, how can we solve all of these in one fell swoop?"
"How about we just smash them all into the same twist, give vague explanations as to how this fits, being full aware it doesn't and not giving a fuck?"
"Get my camera!"

The first half of Fourze was near perfection, it was a high school, so the whole first world problems of the week made way more sense in context than most Kamen Rider shows, so for the show to suddenly decide like half way through it wanted a plot was never going to work. And it didn't. The whole second half was an utter clusterfuck mess.

Golgom are some of the worst villains of all time, don't expect them to get any better.

Honestly, the only gamebreaker Fourze had with me was the delegation of half the Horoscopes in, like, the last 15 episodes. It was rushed and not a damn one was memorable. It made me pine for the likes of Cancer and Aries again.

I didn't have much issue with Tachibana being both Kengo's father's friend and Virgo because it was a twist I didn't see coming (Well, half of it. I figured Virgo was a man ever since Scorpio was revealed to be a woman, and I guessed Kengo's father's friend was Virgo. Didn't see him also being Tachibana, though.) and it wasn't as forced as what happened with Libra.

Pretty much EVERYTHING in the second half of Fourze was terrible. The upgrade forms were ugly as fuck, the pacing was always either too fast or too damn slow to get any kind of emotional resonance out of anything, once great characters suddenly became caricatures of themselves, storylines began to start repeating over and over in new clothes. It was just really bad.

My issue with the whole Virgo thing is more in principle, in that about five separate plot threads which had never even been hinted as related up until the reveal, were all answered with a single twist. It showed just how much had been planned (nothing) and they really were just making up shit as they went, hoping to create the broadest strokes they physically could.

It also hurt that they pissed away the potential for a great story arc with Yuuki as Gemini, but decided to just create an evil clone for her so Gen could whoop her ass with no consequence or remorse.

And yeah, I can understand the issues with Virgo. It really would have been a much better twist if they hinted at or led up to it at all.

I'm not sure how much of that is true.
The M-Bus/Dark Nebula thing had to be planned with anticipation, Meteor's interactions with Virgo and the fact that they both used Rod-Type weapons also served as foreshadowing. Kinda... maybe I'm overthinking things.

Also so far I don't feel that the second half is awful, it defintely lost some charm around 32-40 but it has been trying to pick up the pace. Leaving all the horoscopes for the last few episodes however was kinda stupid.

While that was a major cop-out i don't think Yuuki as Gemini would have been any better.

Basically the first...three maybe...of the Horoscopes were good, the rest were of the week monsters and completely shit. Usually most of them got a fantastic establishing episode, only to be killed off five minutes later.

Fair enough, it's just that without that, the M-Bus feels so pointless...

True, the horoscopes were meant to be generals, not expendable monsters.

Finished Fourze.

A very strong ending imo, summing up nicely the story of the Kamen Rider Club.
Good choreography, music and so on.

Overall Fourze is a really good show, the main characters are well developed and likeable specially Ryuusei, his character arc and develpoment are by far one of the best things in the series; however Fourze suffers because the Horoscopes were really bland villains and the second half of the show wasn't as good as the first 32. Like I said before Ryuusei arc was really interesting and after it concluded things got sort of stale.

So Sonoda, Cancer and Sugiura are going to die of starvation in the M-Bus or what? Nobody seemed to care about that...

Next it's Magic Time, Wizard has great designs and concepts, and a more serious rider like Haruto sounds like a good thing, but given that reception to it has been rather bad and taking in account that the first episode was awful imo, I'm not that excited...

His cameo in episode 48 was pretty fun though.

I liked Tsukasa too.

Kabuto 6 & 7.

Wow Tendou really has no problem being interrogated. Even managed to score dinner and have Hiyori make his sister hot cakes. Influential man.

Another thing, I think he's pretty analytic from how he deduced what the Worm was after in 7.

And the Second Rider has been introduced, The Bee. Unless I'm much mistaken that's Go-on Gold. I thought that Kagami would have been the second rider but I guess not. Now to see whether The Bee would be an antagonist or an ally.

And to me it's the true ending of Fourze, I don't care where or how it fits into continuity, but it's the true ending of Fourze.

It was awesome, it was funny, epic, heartwarming and even tear-jerking. And the process to obtain Meteor Fusion States summed up the series perfectly.

We'll see again in ultimatum Fourze :thumb:
