The Metroid Prime: Remastered news is awesome, I wanted to play this for so long. Love the 2D Metroids, but never had a chance to check out the Prime-series, aside from Hunters.

I will wait for the physical release though, sucks a bit but the HoloCure update drops tomorrow and I want to play that as well, so it works out.

I'm personally very excited for the Ghost Trick remake that was announced yesterday! If any of you have the slightest interest in Japanese adventure games it is an absolute must-play. Heck, even if you don't know the difference between an adventure game and an action game you should play it! It is just that good.


Amusing bonus fact: The original DS version of Ghost Trick has the highest average user score of any game on Metacritic last time I checked. It might be only known to those in the know, but those in the know know it's good! (Huh?)

Of course Ghost Trick gets mentioned on page 666. But yeah, it's an absolute gem and now I can play it by spending money on it instead of an emulator because this rerelease is cheaper than a secondhand copy

I watch all of Velma, so you don't have too. It's a bad show, but I've seen worse. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 4/10. The acting and animation are not bad. You do have some good jokes, but the rest of the show is bad. The show should have been its own thing and not a Scooby Doo spin off. It does feel like the Godzilla 1998 of Scooby Doo or the 2013 Devil May Cry reboot of Scooby Doo with those two being too different from their own source material. My biggest issue with the show is that most of the characters suck. They are mostly unlikeable with zero charm to them. They try to make Velma into a Daria style show, but miss the point on how why that show work. I also felt like the entire show was queer bait with them trying to set up Velma being a love interest with Daphne, spoilers
it didn't happen. She went loving Norville.

Most of the humor is bad too with having no real punch line to their social commentary. The show has a lot of male gaze when it comes off as gross. They could have done a social commentary on male gaze without being gross about it. CW spoilers you have naked teenagers and Velma twerking.. I doubt I will watch Season 2 unless they make big improvements for the show.

Adness was also a production company and able to make visual effects/special effects with scale models like Toei/Tsubaraya if they were a older company and budget ?

Personal rider recommendations from Heisei just right off the top of my head would be Kuuga, Ryuki, Blade, Den-O, Double, Ex-Aid, Build. From Showa I would recommend Black and from Reiwa Saber and Geats.

I'm finishing Aba on Shout Factory DVD and watching Deka.

Almost done with Time Ranger as well.

As a whole the Ranger line is pretty aces but as one year
each it can be hit or miss. Collectively as a whole I like
the Super Squadron series line. Watching 15 of them on
Shout Factory DVD. Mostly Shout has brought over what
was adapted for Power Rangers. Deka (Space Patrol
Delta) was the last one to come over this month.

Also opened up 16 pockets in my Disk books for Turbo
and Magi when they come over.

Movies

FF 10 Fast X is on the Big Screen in May.

Saw all 9 on DVD. Will wait for disk for this one.
