Bingo, Galaxy Force (Cybertron) had no connection to Superlink (Energon) or Micron Legend (Armada), it was just a stupid choice to try to adapt it as a sequel.

Yeah, but hearing so many people dropping it, and seeing all the negativity really brought me down.

Which I like because I really liked Cybertron.

Though I will admit, the Velocitron and Space Bridge Voyage were rather tedious.

I did like the art style though. CG Robots with traditionally animated Humans. And the whole "Omega Frequency" thing made the kids less useless.

I don't care what you say, Cybertron is my Transfromers Goseiger.

Some, and I must take this opportunity to once again say that I really like PelleK. His Power Rangers medley was awesome.

The problem with BM was that, while it expanded on Cheetor's character, they killed Silverbolt's, Rhinox's, Rattrap's, and even Primal's characters to do so. It did a lot right (I loved Strika and Obsidian, not only with their inversion of the big guy/small girl archetype, but their characters as a whole. Obsidian's obsession with serving Cybertron being really great), but the good new characters are countered with annoying ones, like Nightscream.

I get what you mean. I thought at least that Silverbolt, Rattrap and Primal were redeemed by the end. But Rhinox's character assassination was just plain disappointing.

Most of the new characters, sans Nightscream, were great.

Primal was redeemed through his sacrifice, but the problem with Silverbolt and Rattrap was that they were given new problems that they never had. Rattrap, the one willing to infiltrate the enemy ship and plant bombs, while it's still occupied, willing to participate in every firefight, is now afraid to face down against 3 drones?
Silverbolt, chivalrous knight, now can't go a sentence without talking about how dark his heart is now?
It was like they wanted to use new characters, but didn't want to pull a Rhinox on all of them, so they fundamentally changed them to better fit the more cliched archetypes so the stories could be simpler.

The new characters were mostly fine. I had no issues with the likes of Botanica or whats his name (The one with 2 beast modes), but the only one that played a major role was Nightscream, to my ire...

I felt Rattrap and Silverbolt were okay, in that I could sort of see how they could end up like that. I mean, it takes a bit of justification, but it's possible. Like how Rattrap's confidence came mostly from his resourcefulness, which was all but eliminated in his new form, or how Silverbolt was broken.

I mean, it's takes a bit of mental gymnastics, but it's possible to reconcile.

Rhinox, on the other hand...
