I'm really loving Gatchaman crowds insight I'm enjoying it more then first season

I finished the two ova's of Baka and Test. I'm going to miss the characters and setting in the school now that it's over. I still need to watch the Kill la Kill OVA.

17 episodes into StrikerS and the villains/lackeys are pissing me off even more then when they first popped up. ^_^

I did watch the Kill la Kill OVA last night. While it was good, I do like the TV show ending a bit better though.

I watched The Last: Naruto movie.............b/c Shippuden is irritating me by going into filler mode with the "Infinite Tsukuyomi" dream episodes.

Yeah, I know that the dreams were shown in the manga, but they decide to go in full-on filler mode by dedicating one or 2 episodes per dream

You do know the ova take place before credit epiloge of kill la kill right.

I did enjoy the new episode Akame ga Kill on Toonami. I like Sheele's backstory since it was interesting. The scene where Sheele comforts Tatsumi at Sayo and Ieyasu's grave knowing that Tatsumi can't bring back his friends to life was really nice in my opinion.

I just got caught up on Charlotte. I'm not even sure what to say about it at this point, to be honest.

I'm watching "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor".

Which one? The one shot OVA from the mid 80's, the OVA's series from the early 90's or the recent TV series from 2005-2006?

The new one. The old ones were called "The Biobooster Armor Guyver". The new one is called "Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor".

Okay cool. I do suggest checking out the manga too. You may want to read it once you finished the show since a second season never happen.

I have been really enjoy the season.

A tully I am is fun ride and I have truly been enjoying it. I might review season as a hole later on once it finished.

Finished The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki just now. Loved it all! Last two episodes gave off an Endless Eight vibe to it for some odd reason. >_> Now to watch Nanoha ViVid.

I'm watching five shows in the fall--in addition to the ongoing Princess Precure I'm just planning on watching One-Punch Man, Owarimonogatari, SnK Junior High, and Comet Lucifer.

I'm extremely looking forward to about 50% of those. Owari and One-Punch Man can't get here soon enough.

Anyway, 5 shows is kind of a bunch, but considering I've averaged around 15 shows per season this year so far, it basically feels like nothing. Gonna have sooo much free time (to waste on cartoons).

I'm watching Akame ga Kill. And I'm passed!! They killed Shelle!! I partially blame Tatsumi, why you ask? Because it seems like people he gets emotionally involved with end up dead!! But then again, it is a risk of their job.

Finished ViVid recently. It was good. I really do hope a second season is coming because just leaving us hanging just feels off. Now I'm watching Nobunaga the Fool.

I thought her death was pretty shocking, but I wish we got a bigger bound between her and Tatsumi. We saw them together in the last episode, but it was only one episode. It was still a good episode though in my opinion.

At least there was impact on her death after she died since you feel saddens from other character. It's not like in DBZ where death is hardly a thing and death has no consequences in the Dragon Ball series after the Saiyan saga. Once the Namek saga happen, death is not a major issue anymore since there was Dragon Balls on other planets. In ROF, they made a big deal on Freeza blowing up the Earth when they ask the nameks to wish back the Planet and everyone who died on it.

Usually when I feel sadness for a character its because I feel a connection to said character. Shells said she wasn't good at anything. That all she did was get in peoples way, until she found her niche for killing. I can relate to her completely. Except for the killing part. I still haven't found my niche. I'm 29 and still haven't found it. Wow..... Time to change subject!!

Vivid got the ment to be a full 24 season but they split it in half. I enjoyed it.

I watch the first episode of Mad Bull 34 tonight since I had nothing else to do. I forgot how much fun this anime was. Cheesy as hell :D!

I re-watch the original Vampire Hunter D movie on Blu-Ray. I haven't seen the movie since I was a kid on the Sci-Fi channel. I do think that the movie hold very well. The movie's plot structure could have been a bit better, but still a great movie after 30 years later. Yoshitaka Amano's artwork really gives this movie a very gothic and spooky atmosphere. The movie's art direction is one reason why I love this film today because it gives it's own special look to it. Modern anime fans may not like it because it's dated, but I still love it. Sentai Filmworks​ did a great job on the blu-ray since the picture and sound on it is fantastic.

I did wish they got the Streamline dub with the Blu-Ray release since that's the dub that I grew up with. However the voice acting in the new dub is pretty good and everyone did a good job on their role. Overall I give Vampire Hunter D (1985) a B+.

Build Fighters Try

Finally finished the series last night and it was good fun. Was surprised that Transient Gundam was the final one the team went up against rather then The End, since I thought the end was way more intimidating and final boss worthy then Transient. But hey, the last series ended with an Exia suit derivative fight so... tradition?

The last episode was fun too.

Skimming through random eps of Durarara and Gintama.

I feel like I kinda want to like Gargantia, but I also kind of don't really care, and the art style is just terrible, so now I'm just playing with my figuarts while watching it, which is not really a good sign, because it basically means I've lost all interest. Such a bore.

Episode 10 of Gargantia was actually really good. I think the fact that Amy was in it for like two seconds helped a lot, I really can't stand her. The soylent squid is people stuff's pretty cool too I guess.

edit: and now I'm done with that. I knew it was too much to expect, but I was still unhappy that Amy broke that nice streak of basically being absent from the show for much of the later half. It is hard to believe how much I dislike her. Man. Go to hell, Amy.

Anyway, this anime's a pretty solid C, C-, I guess. Kind of a halfhearted package all in all. Now for the ovas...
