I can do it if I want to see the show badly enough. It's how I watched Kamen Rider X. Black RX is something I can wait on proper subs for, though.

Wizard episode 3:

-Is the ring in Koyomi's hand "Engage"? Couldn't see it that well, also Haruto needs to stop giving those away, someday there will be a misunderstanding and he'll end up engaged for marriage.
-I'm not paying much attention to the police subplot...
-I suppose Haruto will never be able to actually eat a donut.
-So Shunpei's magic is actually the phantom's. Makes sense.
-Phoenix and Medusa remind me of the Greeed. But what made the Greeed interesting was the infighting between them, let's see how this guys turn out.
-I was quick to judge Haruto, he's calm and collected, but he does show emotion, so far I like him.
-Told you that sleep is the best ring ever :lol
-I kinda feel bad for Shunpei (kinda), but is that enough to drive him to life ending despair? Seriously?
-The driver has no mute function, does it?
-Water transformation sound are kinda relaxing, specially compared to all the other noises the driver makes.
-That kick is kinda stupid...

First arc of Wizard is done for, so far so good.

KITSubs has returned from a prolonged hiatus with episode 37 of Kamen Rider. It's a fun one, although you have to marvel at the stupidity of the kids in it; they know for a fact that Shocker is around and what they want, yet they still run to a secluded location to get monster autographs. :rolleyes

Kabuto 5 and 6

Its nice to get episodic episodes that tie into the overarching plot rather then a billion and a half two parters. The episode with the Worm that sucked out people's fluids didn't need someone to have a backstory behind them in order to make it a good episode.

Oh Tendou, you troll. When they were interrogating him about the belt, Tendou said "Why ask the sun 'Why do you shine?'" Perfect. I also thought when he was talking about his phone call I thought he was going to do something similar to in the Dark Knight where Joker held someone captive until he got his one phone call. i didn't expect some trolling hitting the table so the phone could land in your hand type stuff.

And I got about 10 seconds of TheBee at the end of episode 6. This series, based on first impressions, seems to have an overarching plot combining elements of Blade (shady organization Riders work for) and Ryuki (lots of Riders with end of episode introductions and fleshed out back stories). I could be wrong though but I hope I don't have another Rider war I have to sit through.

Some of that comparison may actually be true later down the line. Now where its similar to the Greeed, I can't tell you. you have to watch the show.

Did anyone else feel bad for Gamel? And Mezool for that matter. All Gamel wanted was to please Mezool, he wasn't really evil. I don't think any of the Greeeds were really Evil (Maybe Kazari). All they do in unleash desire, weither it to be good or bad. But Gamel? The most he wanted was a pat on the head from Mezool. And the way he died.. the feels, ya'll. The feels. Even the way Mezool died had the feels. Driven insane by Mister CreepyAss Doll on his Arm and Kazari being an asshole.

It's hard to feel for Gamel, though, because he was so easily manipulated to doing evil that it still made him evil.
"I went around killing people! Did I do good mommy/girlfriend/whatever?" (They had an odd relationship :lol) Yeah, he wasn't a titan of intellect, but even if he didn't know the difference between good and bad, it doesn't change his actions.

I felt more for Uva, who literally spent the majority of the series just trying to survive, but constantly got shafted, by Kazari, by Eiji, by the other Greeed, by Maki, etc.

Where are the subs for X? that's one of the ones I want to watch along with Stronger

It was weird trying to tell what they were. Especially when she absorbed him at the end, and her last words before turning into that monster were "I love you, Gamel". I still feel for him though, I do. Especailly towards the end where he's near crying, and roaming the streets, just crying her name. Everyone took advantage of him. Uva, Kazari, Mezool. Even Ankh at one point.

I can see your point about Uva. Kazari really screwed him up, alot, over and over again. But he had it coming. He's the one that started this trolling the other Greeeds in the first place, Kazari was just better at it.

Mezool's human form looked familiar though, was she in anything else?

Yeah, what happened to Gamel and Mezool was unfortunate, but I guess the reason why I wasn't emotional was because the series explored those two so little in comparison to Kazari. For me, it was hard to take their deaths as tragic because for every scene they had, Kazari had 10 more.

Uva was definitely evil, but I felt for him because, where the gleefully evil Kazari got his comeuppance a whopping one time, for every action Uva did, you can wager that 5 episodes later something terrible would happen to him.

And I'm not sure whether she was in anything else.

Gamel was. Gamel was more than Mezool, anyway. What I'm enjoying more than anything else, since Gamel is dead now (Mezoooool..), is Date and Gotou.

There's no Kamen Rider or Super Sentai this week.
This is all kamen knowledge, but it's gonna leave me bored with nothing to discuss this week.

Wizard 4-5

I really liked this arc, if they keep this level then I'll probably love the series.
It was great to learn more about Koyomi and by extension Haruto, they also explain how mana works for Haruto (I know Beast has a different source for it), and Medusa and Phoenix are starting to get more defined personalities, Medusa seems cool she doesn't waste time, and her "rivalry" with Koyomi will probably be interesting. Phoenix on the other hand I don't like very much.

However I do have some problems with it: Shunpei is simply... there, he is basically an accesory for Rinko, with some lame attempts at humor here and there.

The other issue I have is with the Phantoms, the Monster of each week isn't created that week, but rather they already exist, this means that right now there are tons of Phantoms in the city (probably as a result of the ritual) that are willing to obey Medusa, Phoenix and by extension Wiseman, and every Phantom is capable of standing up to Wizard by itself.

Why can't they team-up to beat him? I know that they gotta respect the monster of the week format, but in this series the phantoms have a common leader and are already active, whether in previous series the monsters were either mostly independent (Kiva) or were created as a result of the episode events (OOO).

I tried watching Wizard again, but the driver sounds (Please! Please! Please!) are like nails on a chalkboard to me. I can't explain it, really, but it's quite grating. So, I've started Den-O instead. I'm still watching OOO on and off as well.

Kamen Rider W Kamen Rider OOO Movie Core War -

The movie opened in Fuuto, with Chief once again beating people with her shoe. She still annoys me. But I absolutely enjoyed Gills forcing the Memory GaiaMemory on her and showing us that excellent Skull backstory. Complete with the first time of Counting Your Sins, which was excellent.

Sorry for the spotty review, I'm trying to give my opinion without spoilering to much.

Nobunaga's Ambition though was full of the Feels. Kougami comes off as an ass, but what can you do. Can't give alot away without spoilering it. But I can say that I enjoyed it, even the deep Feels at the end there. Though I was hoping he'd use PuToTyra and just not tease the Medals :lol

And now the combined part of the Core War. Which, again, was excellent. I think I need a Figuart of Kamen Rider Core. Though how you'd make him with a translucent leg and make it work I dunno. A ZERO maybe? I will say this. The TaJaDor Henshin we got in this should've been the one we got in the show for his first time.

I will never take anything you say seriously again. You may as well have walked up to some Star Wars fans and said you enjoyed the Holiday Special.

100% agreed. Core War is perhaps the most atrocious mess in the entire Rider franchise (Matrix can argue Decade but still :p). If you wanted to give ONLY the Skull portions 5/5 sure, totally, Soukichi the hard boiled badass desrves 6/5. But the rest of that film is abysmal garbage.

Measuring the positives, Decade is still worse (Core has the Skull portion and a short run time), but it's a close second for me.

I liked it. And that doesn't make me to emotional.

Personally I didn't feel that it was such a big mess, it simply was... pointless. More Skull backstory is a good thing, but I really didn't like that much his half of the story and the OOO/Core parts was completely irrelevant. To their respective series and the movie itself.

The marriage was heartwarming though. And without this movie we wouldn't have had the Accel movie, and that one was awesome.

I'd say Decade is definitely much less unpopular. I think The Next is the only thing that might be more universally reviled than Nobunaga's Ambition.

And what's wrong with The Next now?
