You can't really blame them though. DBZ hasn't had much exposure outside of the internet the last couple of years. As with most anime.

Look at like 15 years ago. if you asked a kid who watched Toonami what Gundam was, they'd know or at least be aware its a mecha show. Now, nobody my age knows the fuck Gundam is.
