I was never off in the beginning, at first I was like the only person to like Gaimu's suit.

Samurai? Awesome? Favourite colour? Check.

And just in general it doesn't seem nearly as cluttered and in your face as some of the other Riders (although I think Ryugen looks cool busyness and all), yet not quite as bland as some of the other Riders either.

Yeah Gaimu is a pretty cool fellow.

I'd still say right now that Ryugen and Gaimu are the only suits that currently appeal to me, with Zangetsu being really boring and the other two being downright hideous.

I think we need to have a talk about the term overuse.

I'm not particulary fond of Baron or Griton, but I love Zangetsu even if he's kind of simple compared to the other guys.

I had this idea for a while:

When Gaimu airs we should limit the fruit puns to one for episode, for example in the thread for the first episode we only make Orange puns and so on.

I mean hell, just look at how lightning fast old the cake jokes from Portal got?

Now that I've taken some time to sit and read through all the news that's come out so far, I have to say the fruit seed thing isn't particularly appealing to me. I like Gaimu's base design, but the whole concept is a little too silly for me to take on face value. I do like everything else I'm hearing about the show though so it's not something I plan to write off by any means.

But regardless of my criticisms, Madoka's writer? Sold. Sold sold sold sold sold.

It was made worse for me when they showed off that the henshin would literally involve giant pieces of fruit falling from the sky and wrapping around them. We still have not nearly enough to make any kind of true opinion on this yet, but from what we have seen so far it is looking exactly as silly as it initially seems.

But then so did Madoka for about two episodes...
