It was a good episode if not a little on the light side plot wise.

I think people are reading into the sister speech too much as well. It was meant to be a more, you do a job to help people, not your self. So kinda a paraphrase of uncle Ben =p just because he has this awesome power, doesn't mean he should use it for self gain or that he has to use it to help people (so like his little jobs were better in that he was helping)

But aside from that, there's still just a ton of questions that I want answers to. And I imagine once we have all the riders set up and established that it's gonna take a walk on the darker side.

Sadly, this episode kind of annoyed me. The first two were good, but I am already tired of this stupid dance battle stuff as it is getting old really quickly.

I'm not saying the show has to go all grim dark, but after hearing all of this hype about it being the guy from that magical girl show, I feel kind of let down. It's not exactly making me even want to watch Madoka.

Madoka is way better than this, Madoka was only twelve episodes, so it had a much better pace and much more punch. This is fifty episodes, so it's slow as HELL in comparison.

Although since I'm used to starting a toku series when it's finished, I dunno whether it's slow, or if it just feels that way as I don't have the freedom to watch ten episodes in a row.

I really enjoyed this episode, I am having the weird love/hate relationship with Kaito, he reminds of a less jackassy Kusaka (Kaixa from Faiz) so I'll see where he goes. After watching both Episode 2 and 3 I am loving Kota he is awesome and so full of energy. I love Micchy and intrigued with him and Zangetsu as well. I can't wait to see more of this.

What I really like about Kaito is that he may be a jerk but atleast he plays fair. Also I believe his whole "excercise power to gain strength" stick is going to have a more complicated reason down the line.
Kaito has the great potential to become a very honorable character and not just a useless an annoying prick like Kaixa.

I absolutely agree with you, I see there is far more potential and depth to his character than Kaixa had. Kaito kind of reminds me of a weird combination of Kaixa and Ankh.

To me it always feels like Kaito may have been very weak himself. What he told the Kid in episode 02 seems to support that theory. An thats why he just cant stand kouta goofing off with his powers and doing nothing useful with it. Like he said kouta is a spineless coward to him beacause he has the potential to benefit his whole team with his new found power but he does not have the "strength" to go through with it.
