The correct answer was to get Streetwise. I felt bad buying Streetwise and First Aid at first because I thought they'd just be repaints. They ended up being very thorough remolds and are unique from Dead End & Offroad.
Blades is just a straight up repaint with a new head. Rook is just unique and awesome with his ankle tilts and knuckle sockets.

They work, just kinda risky depending upon the game and what you want to do.

Normally people use them to get things like shiny Pokemon, or do things like this:

It's more the thunderbolt-shaped razor leaf hitting a ground type rhydon that's the issue here... which Squirtle cannot learn

All I plan to do is get perfect shiny Pokes or perfect Pokes in general.

That's about it really. How much risk is there to that?
