The effects are really nice (the show as a whole has some flashy cgi), but I was referring to the actual kick itself like you said. I don't like how he just jumps straight up and kicks the guy without any sort of forward momentum. Je just extends his foot and taps the enemy.

It's similar to the problem I have with Agito's kick, where he jumps up and inexplicably flies forward without any forward movements. Just looks and feels weird.

I wish they would just realize they can just do like...normal kicks? They're not as flashy as "jumping" kicks but they sure as hell would look more natural. With the right effects they could be pretty cool. But they insist on doing awkward non-jumping jumping kicks and yeah, it's weird.

Alternatively, they were already using a lot of wire work in that scene, I don't believe for a second they couldn't figure something better out for the kick. I dunno, it's weird. I liked the effects though.

In the Ghost kick's defense, he can float; he didn't just jump up, he lifted into the air. On top of that, the Ganma was also running towards him so there was no need for any forward momentum in this particular case.

It might have looked weird, but it happened within established grounds unlike most Rider kicks (including Agito's) which defy physics without explanation.

I love the Omega Drive that was awesome, I hope we see it more than Drive's though.

I really liked the kick tbh.

The power in it seems to be coming from the charge up not the actual kick, potentially he just has to make contact for it to be effective, though they
will likely make a lot of high jump physic defying spin kicks etc. to the mix as the series goes on, its kinda a thing for the franchise.

If I recall right one of the first riders did a rider kick on a plane once................While it was flying away............

Yeah that's why I loved it, the enemy just basically ran into it and he just levitated into it rather than jump to do it.

All Rider kicks why they may be similar have their own special touches to them to make them unique.

Plus Kabuto had a simple kick...OK the belt hyped pretty well... It still was just a standing kick
