With several great sub-groups subbing Kamen Rider, and various Rider merch being readily available through HLJ, AmiAmi, BBTS and the like, (aside from some exclusives) I've never really understood why people even want to see it adapted or dubbed for western audiences. Some will say it's so Rider merch will show up in western stores, but let's be honest there's not going to be Figuarts hanging from pegs in Wal Marts and Targets. Some American toy company will step in with 5 POA hunks of plastic, or if we're incredibly lucky Hasbro will make gummy-jointed 6.5 inch Riders that don't scale with anything on the Japanese market. Granted, I'm sure something like that would appeal to a fair number of Rider-fans, but I'm not one of them.

Not to mention, there's already the whole "Common Rider? Isn't that like a Power Rangers rip-off?" stigma and I feel this would just get worse. Plus, I'm just not interested in watching a watered down extra silly version of a show I've already seen.
