Just read through Gundam the Origin vol. 2. SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!

If anyone has never experienced the original Gundam story, this is definitely THE WAY to do it.

Now I just hope we can get some kits of The Origin versions of some of the mecha (especially HGUCs).

Okay, I think I haven't talked about it here yet.

RD Unicorn Destroy Mode is really great. I love the huge pile of accessories, and the articulation is great, especially the way the leg pieces move when the knees are bent.

If they're all this good, i'm totally in love with this line. Blitz arrived today, I'll be getting to mess with it when i get home in several hours, and I've got Perfect Strike on the way, and will be getting Aegis and Duel via Den-O in the near future.


Additionally, I finished assembling and lining RG Skygrasper, and I love it. It's a bit fiddly getting the landing gear covers on, but that could just be my fat fingers. It looks great, I loev that the wings move, and it looks really great on an action base, with the Launcher pack attached. But I forgot to take a picture of it that way. Gonna finish up the Sword pack tonight and see about more pictures.

Anybody want an unbuilt HGUC Messala or Zudah? possibly for the group build? I bought both of them but with all the other stuff I have coming in for the Group Build I don't really have the motivation for these 2 right now.

I've almost pulled the trigger on my hguc grail about fifteen times. I really want that Dendrobium, but it just costs so much.

The Wing MSIAs were terrible. The UC stuff was pretty solid, especially for army building. I had like 100 of those guys back in the day.

I finally finished up Seed Destiny. It's Seed's ending, but weaker. Overall, I liked a lot of little things, but it's a clunky show that lacks focus.

I might start rewatching Wing soon, but in the meantime I'm going to track down Zeta Gundam A New Translation because I just can't sit through 50 episodes of Kamille being...Kamille. I've heard the ending has been changed, so I'll still watch the last couple of episodes after.

Don't watch the Zeta movies. Unlike the MSG movies, they cut out a very important part of the series, which, IMO, is integral to Char's and Kamille's development.

I hear ya.The Kshatryia is nice,but I havent decided on which scale to get.That and with all the nice RG out there...oh and when you mentioned that the strike freedom will be the next RG revealed,I started wondering if the Infinite Justice would be after that.If so then there's no way I'm gonna be able to get the Regular Justice.

Other then that,I def cant wait for the Zeph with the verniers boosters on the back.

That thing is beautiful but alas I will never own it either. I suppose the Psycho Gundam was my HG grail and I got it, a rather easy grail I guess :lol Though now I don't know what my HG grail would be.

They're still good movies. But the way they streamline Zeta's plot leaves no room for ZZ to exist after it :( Again great movies but I prefer the original series vastly, I can't agree with the way they alter UC continuity. I sort of take them and the original series movies as one small continuity of their own.

Probably for good reason, ZZ isn't really all that good.:lol

Well it gets better once they return to space, but man there's a lot of nonsensical crap to sit through.

I've never quite understood where hate from ZZ comes from. I thought it was an excellent show. I love Zet, don't get me wrong. It would have to be my all time favorite Gundam series. But ZZ is still really good. I think alot of people get put off by the younger cast but I really enjoyed that show.

Mind explaining how ZZ can't exist with the movies? I don't mind spoilers at this point. I already know Kamille's fate was changed for the movies. Anything else big?

I don't have anything against ZZ or Victory, they just didn't hook me as strongly as say Zeta or 0083. Which is a shame, because I really dig z and zz era suits.

Yup, I can totally do this. I thought the OVA was pretty good before so I'm down for more. And the suits they went with this time, customized the way they are, really appeal to me.

This looks a lot like the Gunpla Builders OVA if it had a load of Danball senki suddenly thrown in it. I can dig it, I'm excited to see where this goes.

Finally Bandai Hobby announced a new 1/144 HGAC Wing Gundam! Also V-Gundam and Gundam Double X to follow, something about a 1/144 HG ALL GUNDAM project, I think it coincides with Gundam Build Fighter.

So basically, this is Akibaranger for Gundams. :lol

That coupled with the 1/144 arms upgrade kits...this is pretty awesome, pretty good time to be a Gunpla fan, ESPECIALLY for 1/144 HG builders! I used to dislike the scale over a decade ago after building 1/100 kits and then a MG kit(which I absolutely ruined by using the wrong type of screwdriver ugh).

However Bandai Hobby has come very far, and the 1/144 kits are cool again to me.I only saw 2 episodes of AGE and couldn't get into it but the 1/144 HG kits for it are well done, I LOVE how the display stands incorporate spots underneath for swappable parts.

I grew to dislike Gundam Wing over time but I respect it since that was the 1st Gundam series I saw through completion. Looking forward to the 1/144 HGAG Wing and hope the rest of the cast suits follow. Would love a new Wing 0, Tallgeese, et al. Maganoc Corps would be nice too.

I spotted Grizzly/Lumber Gundam in the trailer. That's something at least.


I saw a bit of the OVA and it was neat, but I'm not sure I would care to watch a 50ish episode show around this idea. It's just looks so...safe. That said, the fan service is nice and I'll give it a couple of episodes if only because one of the 3 main "hero" MS is Gundam X.

Those reveals were actually quite pleasing. Nice to see HGAC getting some love, its been a while since the line had any progress. I'm also excited to see how the HG F 91 and V2 turn out. Heck, I'm excited for a new series, I actually liked the GPB shorts. Hopefully the concept can be extended to carry a complete series.

Maaaaaaaaan just think about all the customization possibilities we could see out of this series.

Damn this has gotten me so pumped. Love the great custom designs we're getting. Build Strike and Wing Fenice especially, I am REALLY digging those. And based on the trailer I am hoping against hope that it means we'll get an HGUC Dijeh along with a few other beauties :D

I like that most of the custom parts for the new series come as cheap kits,so you can make your own custom if you want.I wanna see what the blue strike pack can attach too.
