I'm currently rewatching Kabuto myself and I must say that I'd forgotten what Tendou was like. He came off as such a dick on the first time through but on this second trip he really does just seem to troll everyone :lol I still aboslutely love this show. |

Dr Kain, there's something called spoilers tags. Try using them in this thread please.
So, I have a new favorite Kamen Rider series: AgitΩ! This is my ideal series. I came to see G3-X in action, I stayed for everything else. The pacing is perfect. I never felt it was rushing or delaying. Everytime a Rider's story hit a slow point there was another Rider to follow around. This is the first time I believe a show has three MAIN riders, not one. On top of that, all three are very different giving the show a lot of variety. Like most Heisei Rider shows, it has a big mystery theme throughout and I'm very happy with the answers to those mysteries. It helps that some of those answers basically makes AgitΩ into the Kamen Rider version of (spoilers because it might enough for some to start guessing the plot) X-Men (one of my favorite 90's cartoons). If there's any problem I have with the show, it's "A New Transformation," the first "movie" of the show. The main problem being it's impossible for it to be in continuity and luckily it really doesn't matter to the plot of the show or "Project G4" (The 2nd movie that's much better and can be in continuity). It's a bit of a shame as there's nothing really wrong with A New Transformation outside 2 scenes that directly contradicts a major plot point in the show. Favorite moment: Shouichi punches god. No, really. That happens. Better yet, Hikawa helped with his BFG. :D PS I even liked the Hyber Battle Video even if it was basically a crossover with Spongebob...oh no, I just realized that! PPS So that ends my "must watch" list on Kamen Riders. I'll probably just continue moving forward in airing order, but I might just take a break until Wizard starts. |

I'm about to wrap up Kuuga in the next day or so but I have a question for those who have watched the whole series. What's the difference between episode 46 and 46.5? I noticed 46.5 had a much larger file size than most episodes but I have a feeling it's just a "here's what has happened so far" episode (of which there have already been two). If it is, I'd like to skip it completely.

Well I just watched teh first two episodes to OOO a little while ago. They were actually quite enjoyable. A little too goofy for a Kamen Rider series, but the comedy was intelligent so I can forgive it. The villians are pretty awesome. I love how they each have a flag of their color displayed whenever they are talking.

OOO is my favorite, so I hope you enjoy it! ^^ |
Well I finished Kuuga last night. You guys were right, it was a pretty abrupt change from 46 to 47. Kind of feels like the writers said, "Oh crud! We only have 3 episodes left! Uh..uh..let's skip to to the final battle!". Kuuga's end was okay. I like how they played around with the idea that Godai was dead in episode 49 but they end up showing he's alive and well at the end. Now it's on to Agito which I've heard a lot of praise for :D
|
Agito is great, but the ending is... a let down. I haven't seen Kuuga yet, but if you think the skipped something to go to the final battle, then you will have the opposite with Agito. Agito is like, "Oh crap, this is the last episode, uhhhhhhh... let's skip the final battle."

In a super hero movie, show, whatever, I want to see the fight, I want to see the winner win. That is the same problem 555 had with its "final battle." |

so far, its not bad, its not kabuto or agito levels of good, but its not terrible |
Ryuki puts those series to shame in how good it is. Just wait.

When compared to Decade, Kabuto is the greatest series I've ever laid eyes on.
|
i think they both result from the same problem, bad main caracters and a confusing/stupid ending
