I finished the first season of X-Men: Evolution today.

I feel like saying "Hey, Last Stand and Origins are no longer canon" is kind of a lazy move.

Just imagine if Marvel/ Disney said "Hey, [insert a movie or TV Show or comic from the MCU here] is no longer canon". That would completely f*** up the Cinematic Universe.

While we are on the topic, can anyone tell me if "Captain America: Super Soldier" is canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? I heard that it takes place in one of the attacks on the HYDRA bases in Captain America: The First Avenger, but I'm not entirely sure.

Good question. Cap was active a year or two in WW2 if memorie serves me right. So it could fit in there if they wanted to.

That's what I was thinking too. But most of the time, games made for movies in the MCU usually get passed of as non-canon. Take the Iron Man 3 game for example. It takes place after the events of Iron Man 3, but it contradicts stuff in the MCU. One thing is the suits, which were supposed to be destroyed. The only thing that would make it canon are Tony's suits appearing in Age of Ultron and references to Crimson Dynamo, Ezekial Stane, Modok, and any other villains that died in the game. But that is unlikely (except for the suits thing. Tony can most likely rebuild them.)

I never really count video games or comic books as canon even if the Studio says they are. No one stops anyone from making them non canon again a few years down the line :lol
