Dear Fox,
Stop. Just… stop. You're never going to top Marvel Studios. Just… stop. Stop, KRX. |
I finished the first season of X-Men: Evolution today.
Can we please get an X-Men movie that treats Cyclops with respect, please? :( |

And mother#@$%ing Spyke (little idiot), but Cyclops is cool. |

But he's one of the better ones, can't deny that. |
Seems like we will get another shot at Cyclops in X-Men Apocalypse.

DON'T YOU #@$%ING RUIN THIS, BRYAN SINGER, DO YOU HEAR ME‽‽ Thank you! :D |
Well according to one of the early DOFP reviews
X-Men 3 never happened so Cyclops is still alive |

I guess that explains Xavier, but dangit retcon attack. :lol |

That also would mean we got a new shot at Angel etc. The only thing I wanna know is what happened to Jean Grey? Are we to assume she simply just drowned at the end of X2? |
Wait wait wait. So last stand has been written out of cannon with DOFP, so now they can continue from where X2 left out? If so- HELL YES!

I assume. |

Also a thing the intrigued me was something I read awhile ago. Either one of the producers or Bryan Singer were suggesting they might try to redo the whole Dark Phoenix storyline.

I love his point about the FF no longer being fantastic with all the mutants around :lol
So I found the article I mentioned http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=52282 Kinberg didnt outright say they wanna redo it but with the newest info of X3 no longer being canon it could be in the realm of possibilities. |

More on X3 and X-Men origins no longer being canon.

Just imagine if Marvel/ Disney said "Hey, [insert a movie or TV Show or comic from the MCU here] is no longer canon". That would completely f*** up the Cinematic Universe. While we are on the topic, can anyone tell me if "Captain America: Super Soldier" is canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? I heard that it takes place in one of the attacks on the HYDRA bases in Captain America: The First Avenger, but I'm not entirely sure. |
Good question. Cap was active a year or two in WW2 if memorie serves me right. So it could fit in there if they wanted to.
