How does a character's age make him more or less qualified to be a leader? Not everyone has what it takes to be a leader, even if he's the eldest.
Look at Nossan or Ucchi from Kyoryuger- they were the oldest team members, but they didn't have leadership qualities at all. Both of them were strong, but they were followers who worked best under someone else's command. The ones who had those qualities were the younger team members, namely Daigo and Ian. Ian was a tactician, who was very well aware of his team members' strong and weak points and always easily developed a strategy for their Team. Daigo made up his lack for strategy with creativity- he planned things while doing them and he had the energy to motivate everyone else. Age doesn't define the qualification to be a leader. A person's character does. |
Super Kuma Chie Time!

Exactly. Age literally doesn't matter at all unless you already have a bias towards a show and need a new nitpick.
Plus, it would be weird to see a really old red hanging out with a bunch of teenagers who look up to him. Cult anyone? :lol |

Anyway, now I'm getting in the mood to watch GoGoV the more I see previous for this show. Too bad no one bothered to sub past episode 14. |
Has the info regarding the toy prices been released yet?

Alata was young. And he is still one of the most under-rated Red's in Sentai. And one of the absolute best.
|
I liked him too. But that still counts as opinion not fact :)
Some people like their Reds a little more hot headed, because lets be honestly that's absolutely the most common setting for any hero in the genre, anime, manga. People are bound to like that, and hate anything different. |

I'm actually hoping to see that Gabutyra train used in a Toqger vs Kyoryuger crossover. Maybe the Den-O liner leg add on with it if they do another Super Hero Taisen movie. |
This is the first sentai where I've actually wanted the toys. There's something about the fact that the mecha is made of fully functional trains that just makes me excited, and I also love the (changer? morpher?).
The cast is also one of my favorite in some time, just in how they interact off set. The coat change pictures with the ToQ guys just make me happy. |

Yeah, the ToqChanger is awesome! I also want that one soooo bad! |
Stumbled across this on 2chan. Love them all together. And I love the shot of Cho ToQ Oh in the background.

On this pic you can really see the difference in the fabric that ToQ 6Gou uses for his suit.
|
Man the sixth is leather clad and has a moustache? That is one sexy big deal of a sixth.
|
I gotta say I like 6 the best of all of them.
And I'm guessing based on how the other 5 are named, although his name will look like ToQ 6, it'll be spoken as ToQ Rokugo. |
6 Looks pretty nice.
I wonder if they'll follow Kyoryu's 6th ranger introduction and add him in at, like, episode 9 or something. |
Since his Merchandise comes out in June I doubt he is going to debut that early. I would guess he is going to debut around the time Beet Buster and Stag Buster did :)
|
haha, wow. I literally just got the whole mustache thing for ToQ-6 just now. I honestly didn't like his helmet design at all until I figured that out.

I'll be honest, despite the suit design's,which I still think are a little bland but are growing on me the more I see them in motion, and the boxiness of the mecha which looks 100 times better on screen then in toy form,I am starting to get a little excited for this series.
I'm still going to have my withdraws about it (having another light hearted series follow another one just seems bad to me,but we have Gaim and Kamen Rider for the seriousness),but it should still be an ok series. |
I'm crazy hyped up and pumped for this episode in all honesty. Really hoping I have the free time tomorrow to watch the livestream of it before Gaim.

Wow... Anyone think me watching a live stream at 10:30pm is worth it? I'm pretty tempted, plus it would be good to practice the ol' Japanese for a change.

The Quality is actually pretty good on those streams. The raw will undoubtly look alot better but for a livestream its actually really good quality :)

I'm just gonna give the subs a watch, myself.
